The room was on the 3rd floor at the very top of the building. It was exhausting carrying luggage up there. Sadly I wasn't given the choice of floor level, when booking, so I had no idea until I arrived. My partner is disabled and found the staircases quite difficult to navigate. The staff were very friendly, but the room was too compact and overpriced for what was on offer. Sadly, the noise from the other guests kept us awake, as did the noise from the street level. There was a constant racket of people walking past, having conversations, vehicles reversing and beeping, emergency service vehicles with sirens on a frequent basis. The bed was comfortable, but the room was very hot, even with the window ajar, and we barely got any sleep before having to get up at 3:30 to catch a european train. All in all, the location was a great help, enabling us to get to St Pancras on time, but I wouldn't recommend the hotel.

Hotel was fine for an overnight stay with my sister it had everything that was needed

Great one night stay the lovely girl on reception had my room ready to check in at 1130! Single room perfect for a one night visit to friends . Very comfy bed nice thick
Duvet - the towel could be bigger but ok! I’d def recommend to anyone doing similar as myself to stay here.

Great property, clever use of area to maximise the living space.
Staff were very friendly and welcoming, even swapping us to a ground floor room to help with my massive case!
Perfect location for the Eurostar. Will stsy here again.

Firstly, thanks to the very friendly staff member who helped get my room ready earlier and helped carry my suitcase up 4 flights of stairs (no lift). This was unfortunately the only highlight of my 1 night stay.
This is not really a hotel, more like a hostel/motel and it is super run down, with a strong sewage/drain smell in room the whole night. According to staff this smell is present in all the rooms and surrounding area and if they tried to get it fixed they would lose fheir license to operate, due to old age of building it is not easily fixable. So not great. I had to sleep with window right next to my head in cold winter just to try get some fresh air, and tried to seal the bathroom “door” with towels and clothes. Single room is super small, dirty walls and bed spread, broken toilet seat etc.
Only stay here if you desperately need a small bed to sleep and do not have much money and you’re traveling early/late from st pancras, otherwise I would avoid. Hotel is very busy and obv doing quite well, but it must be due to location next to st pancras and relatively low rates.

Our stay was excellent , hotel was very conveniently situated , as we need an early start to catch the Eurostar . Room was compact but well equipped , with shower , comfy bed and adequate refreshment/drink options . Lady at reception was friendly and helpful , all in all we were very happy with our overnight stay .

I love this part of London and there are several hotels along the side streets leading to Kings Cross. I have stayed in many of these hotels. This one was not as nice or as easy.

I stayed overnight before catching the Eurostar. The room was small but well appointed, including TV and tea/coffee making facilities. The bedroom and shower room were very clean and the bed was warm and comfortable. The only downside was the narrow staircase (no lift), but the person on reception carried my case upstairs for me. I would book again.

Room was small which we knew. Bathroom even smaller than expected.

Minimalist hotel. Comfortable bed. Clean. Good water pressure and hot water on shower. Terrible WiFi in room. Close up o St Pancras. Ok neighborhood.

It turns out there are a bunch of little hotels along Argyle St but we were very happy with this one — even with a fourth-floor room! The proprietor is lovely and seemingly always on duty in little front office. Our room was clean (maid comes in every day unless you specifically ask not to have service). Bathroom was VERY small and could have used a shelf under the mirror, but water pressure was good. That room might be hot in summer; in mid-September we slept with window cracked and were quite comfortable. (Don’t know if there’s AC). Loved the location and felt thoroughly safe. A few minutes’ walk from King’s Cross subway lines, ThamesLink and Stansted Express train, so we could get all over London and out to airport easily. But we walked a lot — to British Museum, Tate Modern, Marchmont St. in Bloomsbury. Several odd little museums right in the neighborhood plus British Library if you’re into really old documents and Beatles sheet music.

Good stay. All great, but the room could do with a few touch ups (screws tightened on hooks and door lock or inside handle on ensuite doors). Thanks to the hosts for being very welcoming!

5 min walk from Kings Cross Station, perfect location after a 29hr flight. Small twin room but adequate for our 1 night stay.

very convenient location- I needed to take a very early train at St Pancras station.
the room is small, yet one person is good enough
safe and quiet neighborhood

Incredibly convenient for an early morning Eurostar train! Room was very small but clean and had what you need. Would happily book again if taking that early morning train.

Reasonably priced hotel close to St Pancras.

The hotel was really well placed for everything we wanted to do during our stay - handy for the station, buses to everywhere else in the city and walking around in Bloomsbury , St Pancras Kings Cross and Euston. It was clean, convenient, quiet and the staff were friendly and helpful. The room was fine.

We needed a place to stay in London just for two nights and this was the perfect hotel with the location being across from the Pancras International Train Station as we had a 6 AM train to catch back to Paris. The hotel room is very small but we were never in our room except to sleep at night so it didn't bother us. The staff are so nice and helpful. There are a lot of noises from the street and train station though so if you are a light sleeper or sensitive to noises, this is not the right hotel for you. We didn't care about the noises so it didn't bother us.

Great place to stay for the night while traveling between places. Convenient location. Tricky stairs for larger luggage. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Not fancy, but fine for what we needed. Pleasant stay.

Lovely stay just a 3 min walk from Kings Cross. Easy check-in, the receptionist was very welcoming and very quick process. Room smallish but enough room for a one night stay, everything clean and comfortable.

3 beds (1 double, 2 singles) fitted neatly into one room to sleep 4.
En-suite. Clean. Moments away from King’s Cross and St Pancras.

Nice little room close to King's crossing and all transportation. Friendly staff who were very helpful.

The staff at the Fairway were top notch. They were friendly and helpful, even carrying our bags to our room for us. The rooms were smaller, but clean, comfortable, and well appointed. We only stayed for one night, arriving and leaving out of St. Pancras Station, which was less than a block away. The hotel was convenient to the Underground as well as lots of local restaurants and several museums.

Very nice helpful staff, clean comfortable rooms, 35 min or less walking to most main attractions, close to bus stops, elevator, Walked to corner and could see The Eiffel Tower all lit up at night, not that far away, We chose not to do the breakfast because there are so many great cafés near.. we would definitely stay here again

It was hot. It was humid. It was small for 3 people. We were tripping over each other. The people above seemed like they were shifting furniture all night. They made a hell of a racket. The trains went all night. The only thing that was good about it was, it was opposite St Pancras.
8.0
Great convenient stay - especially for the eurostar.
Narrow steep stairs to consider if you have luggage and elderly

I loved that I could open my window. The room was quiet. Shower was only luke warm and a shower cap and face washer would have been handy. Helpful staff member carried my suitcase up and down the narrow stairs.

LOCATION WAS EXCELENT, BED COMFORTABLE AND EXTREMELY CLEAN
4.0
The hotel was very easy to find and check-in was simple and fast, with very friendly staff. The room was on the top floor, so away from the noise of the street, and it was spotlessly clean, but basic. My only real issue was it was very warm being at the top of the building, but there was a large window to help remove the heat. The bathroom was very small, but perfectly functional. On the whole this is a good budget option for a comfortable and convenient short stay in London.
