We stayed in a 4 bed family room, it was spacious and clean. The bathroom was new and clean, no bath but that was ok for a couple of nights. The view wasn’t great, we looked out onto a small, dark courtyard and wall but overall happy with our stay. The breakfast had a good range of food and drink.

Good economy hotel near beach and restaurant's, only negative is parking , public carpark across the road charges in excess of £26.00 for 24 hours .

Hotel was clean, beds were comfortable and in a great location surrounding.
Got the double & single room so total of 3 guests. En-suite was clean and private.
2* hotel so good value for money.

Clean and comfortable, surprisingly not too noisy ( not sure if it is because of timing, early March).
Nice simple breakfast.
You can see the sea easily from the window easily.
Friendly staff very helpful.
About 15-20 min from the station and 2-4 min from the sea.

The memory foam mattress seemed traumatised by memories of previous guests, such that there was a large crater which made the bed very uncomfortable. One of the lights didn’t work, the shower was basic and difficult to get the temperature right. The continental breakfast was ok, but for the money I would have expected something more. £310 for one night for the two of us seemed like outrageous profiteering to me.

Check in was quick and straight forward. The room was clean but the furniture was mismatched and a bit tatty. The lightbulb in the lamp didn't work and there was no phone to call reception. Breakfast was simple but plentiful. Brighton is an expensive place to stay so this price was reasonable for Brighton but expensive when compared with similar standard hotels elsewhere.

We had a great stay in Brighton at the Queensbury. We were visiting for family reasons, and for a short holiday.
The staff were so friendly and tried really hard to make sure our stay was a happy one. Thank you to you all.
The room was lovely and the hotel had a great atmosphere. The location was superb, so near to the main beach, and to shops and restaurants.
All in all we had a lovely time.

Everything was as expected. Convenient, clean and central

This was an impromptu stay, and too many years since the last time so selecting a hotel wasn't too easy in regards to location, but The Queensbury looked central enough, which it is. I selected a double room, with en-suite and a seaview. The room size was sufficient for my two nights, and the bed very comfortable, plus a thermostat controlled radiator. The waste water from the en-suite is taken by a saniflow style system, the first time I have experienced one, so occasionally you can hear the system in use from other rooms. The continental breakfast is very good along with the wifi.

Very nice little b&b. Please take stay. Clean and tidy and good variety at breakfast including vegan options.

Fantastic location, very walkable, helpful staff, nice morning breakfast

Very nice location and very helpful staff. The furniture bit outdated and the rooms seemed cluttered. Carpets need updating especially in staircase. Breakfast was very basic.

Staff was absolutely lovely and the location couldn’t be better. The rooms are spacious and clean but everything could use a bit of an upgrade. You can tell they’re making strides but it feels a bit superficial at best. Not good for light sleepers as every creak is heard (whether from the mattress or the other guests). Still, perfect for a short visit, especially if you want to be close to the sea!

Room was small, but just what we needed. Everything was clean, was expecting way worse considering how cheap it was.

The location was perfect right on the seafront very close to the i360.Multi-story car park very close which was ideal. Car park not cheap but quite secure and convenient. The hotel though, it is just an expensive B&B. We were on the top 4th floor which took 8 flights of stairs to climb; this is ok if you are fit but having no lift it would not be suitable for guests with mobility issues. We were very disappointed with the room due to what it cost us, very cheap furniture, creaky bed, the bedside lamp bulb had gone (to late at night to contact staff), no phone in the room, had to ask for a fan as the heat was very hot up there on the 4th floor, had to ask for a hairdryer, tiny hand basin you could hardly clean your teeth in, bathroom metal bin dented as if it had been stood on, the curtains were old and damaged, the shower tray overflowed and the toilet would not flush during the night that we stayed, therefore we were unable to use it properly that night and the following morning. If we had paid £78 for one night and it was a B&B we would of perhaps excepted these things, although not good. But as we paid £178 for 1 night and they class it as a hotel, we felt this was very disappointing. The staff although polite did not make their presence felt and we seemed to be a bit on our own. When we explained about the lamp and toilet upon leaving the member of staff just said she would tell her colleague. As we say a great location but very highly priced for a very basic B&B.

Decent hotel in the heart of Brighton. Decent price too. Nice alternative to the other big chains. I would recommend if it's a short stay.
Of course and naturally the bathroom isn't great. Very much on the small side with pressure not being fantastic. Not a big deal if a short stay.

Nice hotel and staff shame no cooked breakfast though ... have stayed here three years in a row it suits our needs nice size family room. It is getting bit expensive though but Brighton is over all !

The staff were great, very friendly. The breakfast was pretty good, plenty to keep you going. The location is brilliant! The building is grand, but old. It needs a little TLC here and there, but nothing major. The rooms had everything we needed. They weren't anything fancy, but they were certainly comfortable. We were also able to drop our bags off before we checked in, that's a bonus.

Lovely, clean, comfortable, spacious rooms.
Good staff.
Arrived early & were able to check in early.
Only thing I would say is that the continental breakfast was a bit sparse.
All in all, happy with hotel stay & would stay again. Would recommend.

Clean enough, room on 4th floor no lift. Building a little dated. Toilet flushed by itself half the night. Plenty of tea and coffee. Didn't have breakfast but the dining room looked ok. Very informal and fast check in and out. Good for a stay in Brighton on a budget, but if you want any whistles and bells, stay elsewhere.

This is all that was left for a busy weekend in Brighton. We had 2 adults, 2 kids and so finding a room for all of us in
some parts of Europe can be a challenge. Staff and breakfast were fine. Location fine. IF you stay here, make sure
that you are not in the basement in the summer, as we were. It was pretty hot and humid down there.

My friend and I went for a one night stay. We wanted something cheap, in a good location, with good reviews. It was exactly what we hoped for. They staff was easy to deal with. The place could use some updates, but was clean. The rooms were not soundproof, but was roomy enough, comfortable, and clean. The breakfast in the morning was better than expected. The location wasn't overlooking the ocean, but step out the front door and it's right there a block away. We had a great dinner at the closest restaurant, on the corner, just down the block.

Quick and efficient check in and out, decent room for a nights stay, great location, decent breakfast

We went shopping to 2 days and spent one night at the hotel. Including having breakfast. One day was not enough would have loved to have stayed there longer and I guess that says it all!
