The hotel team were very friendly and extremely helpful and funny, especially the reception guy on arrival.

Our third stay in this lovely small hotel close to Tours station and the city centre. Very convenient for an overnight stop on the way to/from the channel ports from/to the south! Only small issue is the road noise although admittedly the adjacent streets are relatively quiet.

Fantastic stay in a quiet and very convenient location. Recommend the 11 euro/day breakfast buffet for a quick and easy option to start your day in the Loire Valley.

Person on front desk was so helpful.
Location great.

Atmospheric old world French hotel at an affordable price.

They all were kind. Comfortable bed. Small room under roof. Few minutes walking away from the Cathedral. True masterpiece, worth alone of the travel. Limited car parking but they found a slot for my motorbike, for free. I want to spend more days in Tours, in short, I think will be in the same hotel.

We loved the warm welcome and helpful staff when we checked in. Our room faced a courtyard and was very quiet

Very sweet little hotel with secure car parking, near cathedral and museum

Very convenient central location

Loved the breakfast room situated in an old cave and the fact that there is an elevator. We had a wonderful stay and really appreciated the help from the front desk.

A very well located comfortable hotel with a nice breakfast for a fee.

Small but comfortable room with very small en-suite. Air-con did not work. Basic accommodation well situated near the main areas of Tours.

We had a very small room, too small for elderly people!

What a wonderful stay! I am a travel blogger and I give this place 100 percent!
The owners who speak minimal English even know how to use Google Translate.
5.0
The friendliness of the owner, the charming room and a good breakfast.

The lady on reception was extremely helpful, despite her very broken English, don't expect someone in a French hotel in the middle of France in the middle of a city to be able to speak fluent English.
The room was small but comfortable and adequately equipped although there was a significant problem in that it was impossible to sit on the toilet and close the bathroom door at the same time.
There are only six free parking spaces on site although there is plenty of free overnight parking in the immediate vicinity.

Staff very friendly and helpful, had late arrival and early departure but not a problem for either. Very accommodating.

There are no staff on the property other than cleaning staff so you are pretty much on your own. So it was a little challenging at first but OK once you got situated and familiar with the place. Overall it is in excellent condition. Bathroom is modern but poorly designed. Lack of trash basket outside of the very small one in the bathroom and no Kleenex were minor annoyances.

Perfect choice for a two-night stay in Tours to visit chateaux of the Loire Valley by train. I chose the hotel for its location: quiet but a 5-minute walk from the Tours station. It was extremely convenient; I took trains easily to and from Onzain/Chaumont and Chenonceaux the two mornings of my stay. When I checked out, I left my luggage at the hotel and was able to retrieve it quickly before my train back to Paris.
The hotel was also well situated for visiting Tours: within 10 minutes, you can walk to the cathedral and the river. On the way (5 minutes from the hotel), I recommend stopping into the garden of the Musée des Beaux Arts, which is very peaceful! From the cathedral, you can walk 10 minutes to the center of the old town for a plethora of restaurants and the lively outdoor night life of this university town.
Though close to the station, the hotel is in a peaceful side street and very calm. There was no noise either from other rooms or from the street - I slept very well! The room (double for single use, on the top floor) and bathroom were spacious by European hotel standards and looked better than the photo on the website. To my pleasant surprise, there was an elevator. Only caveat: I'm a woman of average height (167 cm/5'6) and hit my head badly on the low sloping ceiling when I made the mistake of trying to sit in a chair in the corner. If you're tall, watch out for the beams and irregular ceiling angles on the top floor!

I was met on arrival by the landlady, He seems to have a wonderful and kind character. She is instantly likeable. She offered me some maps and give me a quick rundown of the places to visit nearby. I very much enjoyed the neighbourhood and the city. This is an excellent place to spend the night.

We always stay here en route to Roscoff. The rooms and bathrooms are small but perfect for what we need, staff are helpful and friendly. Sadly, weve only managed breakfast once on our four visits, as always have leave so early but on that occasion, the croissants were excellent. Tours is beautiful and I am sure we will return. Thank you

Beautiful small hotel, elegant older building refitted with modern amenities. Very short walk on a narrow street to the heart of the city. My garret room was tight but comfortable. Very friendly and helpful staff. Made for a memorable visit.

We had a wonderful time in Tours. Hotel du Manoir was very quaint, staff was very friendly and spoke excellent English that made things much simpler and more convenient. Breakfast was very nice. Only negative we’re amenities in room. Could use updated hair dryer and shampoo.

A few minutes walking from the cathedral and a few more to the old town. Surprisingly quiet for its location. Room comfy and adequate though rather small. Typical continental breakfast, sufficient.

This is an amazing little hotel, with wide open windows, quaint and classic decor, and all the amenities one should need (no fridge, but that’s ok). The proprietors were very sweet and the breakfast a fantastic value!

Lovely little hotel with helpful friendly staff. Continental breakfast was delicious and excellent value. The building itself is charming. This is our s cons visit, both as stopovers. Both times we have regretted not spending longer in Tours.

I stayed with my family of three and their room with a queen and twin was perfect. The location was great-close to Tours train station but not too close. The hotel is a historic old house and you can have a nice breakfast buffet in what must have been the wine cav.

The location was walkable, but not quite as close as our other two hotels in Tours. My room was tiny and the bathroom claustrophobic, but I did appreciate the elevator. Breakfast was simple, but nice. It is very close to the train station... a bit farther (but still walkable) from the historic neighborhood. The front desk woman was quite helpful and nice. Excellent Wifi.
