For the amount I paid for this room was not worth it. I have stayed at lower quality hotels much nicer than this one. In our room the wallpaper was coming off several places and I had to go to another floor just for the ice machine which was not clearly marked. I went to go get breakfast and it was like at 10:05 and i know places stop breakfast at 10 but my conversation with the lady at the bar was kinda rude about it.

The light and decor were full of dust. The furniture looked as if it was not wiped down ever. Pool area did not have enough lounge chairs and area around pool was dirty. Hot tub was broken and had green dirty water in the bottom. First time I have been dissapointed in a Marriott.

The staff is friendly the hotel itself was short staffed. I checked after 6:00pm and soiled bed linen and towels was lining the hallway as well as dirty dishes.the phones did not work and maintenence couldn't repair them. Moped to anther room phone still did not work. Just gave up because after the lateness of my return and the labor involved in moving. Called Marriott to file a complaint this not their standard and the linen in the hallway is definitely not exceptable with covid still around. The whole hallway way was lined they started picking up after i complained,which was appreciated. The maintenance person did it became house keeping was gone for the day. Manager was not there according to front desk.

Excellent location, right next to the boardwalk. I did notice the problem with parking that has been mentioned in other reviews, but it was not an issue for me (although I arrived in the afternoon). Comfortable room, although no trash or recycling containers in the room, other than in the bathroom. I would probably stay here again.

There was ONE front desk staff member who was not very welcoming. She didn’t look at me when speaking, no smile and no apology when she had to switch my room for a 3rd time. I also wasn’t aware of the pool area being next to a construction site where saw dust was all in the pool. I wasn’t made aware about breakfast options and the doors to the pool area were not working in two rooms.

super disappointed in the deterioration of the hotel standards as a Marriott and also the boardwalk area. The location was the reason for the choice so the boardwalk was accessible, but it is a ghost town now and didn't feel safe. Most places shut or boarded up. The hotel felt grubby, the rooms required deep cleaning and repairs to basic things, even furniture had stains, etc., and the bathroom was really not good. Would not return and cancelled second night.

The hotel didn’t have our room ready at 3:00, when we were supposed to check in. It was about an hour before it was ready. The person at the desk didn’t seem too concerned about it. The hallway to our room had peeling wallpaper. Inside our room, the wallpaper was also peeling. I did like the poolside view where we could step out onto the patio area. The common areas were nice and the gym was good. This doesn’t reflect on the hotel, but the Riverwalk was a letdown. So many stores have closed or were closing. I just don’t think it’s worth the price to stay here.

The hotel is nice when you walk in and smells clean. My room was very nice but they do not clean the rooms very well. Hair everywhere and they don’t dust the fixtures. The beds are very comfortable. The lady checking us in must have been having a bad night. She was not friendly or helpful at all.

The property is just so-so. The room had dust on the small sculpture and in the light by the bed. The area behind the bathroom door had built up dirt. The oiutside needs a complete power washing. The food service is weak- prices are too high, and trying to run it with one person is ridiculous. A tiny coffee cake or tiny muffin were each $5 !! Go and stay at the Margaritaville Hotel.

Stayed here mainly because of trolly and Outlet Mall. More than half are closed and the trolley has not run in 2 years according to locals. Property needs to update their website.
