Clean, well located and excellent value. No frills but id stay there again

Small, out dated, shower door broke so water all over the floor every shower, no elevator have to haul luggage up several flights of stairs. It’s about a 10 min walk from the water ferry but there’s usually taxis there waiting by the ferry. Have to take the ferry boat to most tourist activities which is about 30 or more ride.

Amazing staff. The owner is the MAN! Authentic Italian vibe. Very walkable from dining and the beach

Under mid range hotel which needs a renovation. Breakfast is not included even if price is the same as much better hotel with breakfast at Lido. Small room. Bed was a matress loose on wood.Aircondiition made a lot of noise and rom had spots after black mold. Staff not very serviceminded No smiles

The host is an amazing guy and the place was near all the facilities I wanted

For a budget hotel it’s OK. It’s probably better than staying at a hostel because it’s quiet and the bed is all right. For males, the hotel is probably fine, especially backpacker kids and bachelor party groups that are only staying a night.
Females have very different biological needs and different anatomy, so I would not recommend taking one’s sister, wife, daughter, or mom here for more than one night, given the strict towel policy.
The listing should be more explicit that you don’t get any towel change until after three nights. It’s not enough to tell the customer when they arrive, because by then it’s already too late to change bookings. If I read it and chose it anyhow, that would be a different story.
The room stays very damp and humid, even with the fan running and the air conditioner on, which means the towels don’t dry, especially if you have long hair. A wet bath towel is one thing, but a wet bidet towel is really not ideal for the girl bits. And yes, I did ask thinking maybe it was on a request basis, but nurse ratchet gave me quite the lecture as if I were a school child.
Other things that may bother you: sitting on the very worn and warped toilet seat. Flat, heavy, stained pillows. AC that is either fully on or fully off, but you must do it manually, many things broken or missing.
Things you may like: nice patio. Quiet part of town. Low price. Small fridge. Easy check in. Key card.

This was a small quaint place to stay. The staff were very hrlpful and hospitable. The location was excellent.Close to water transport and restaurants and cafés. Brach and Lido was nice too.

The owner was very nice and personable. Contacted us with information and offered help. Pretty clean, though not updated. Laminate flooring seemed clean, no bedbugs, and clean sheets. The water pressure was a little low in the shower, which was slightly annoying. It was quiet and in a pretty safe location. About 50 minutes from downtown by water bus. It was great for a budget hotel for two college men, but if you are an american looking for a Holiday Inn, this is not the place for you.

Familly hotel which needs to be renovated.Hotel entrance is strange like you get into a kind of "back door" storage room. The floor needs to be changed and the walls painted.
The stuf,was a young girl looking like house keeper.No smiles,no welcome,no nothing.
I asked if I can make a coffe to the kettle in the loby and I was informe that only next morning can be posible.
I have low blood presure and after a long travel I had no power to ho out in the sun looking for a coffe shop, which were not next door also.I asked a cup of hot water but yet, I was refused. There was not even a botle of water in the room, too.
The bed had a non cotton throw which made the night hard.It was very hot if I was keeping it on, and cold incase I removed it.
No light working near the bed.No place to charge ph near the bed.
Clean bathroom.Clean towels and beddings.
Weired but close location to supermarket, feriboat and sea side.

The customer service was amazing! We lost the house key in the water when trying to get on the water bus and the issue was immediately sorted. The room was very comfortable and we even got to extend our booking in the morning with ease.

No problems during our stay, the location was great and our room was lovely however we found the shower a little temperamental. We would definitely stay here again in the future.

Overall disappointing experience.
The positive: Edoardo was very nice and available thru whatsapp (first time I had to share my whatsapp number with an hotel owner). Warm welcome and flexibility on when to complete the payment for the room.
What you should be aware of: Hotel is a good 10min walk from the Lido vaporetto station.
The room I had was quite not like the picture of the booking, with the bedset scratched, and furniture clearly in urgent need of upgrade (see photo).
Although I did sleep in until 10-11 most mornings, my room wasn't cleaned once in the entire stay. Is it so hard for someone to come by during the day? I also did not understand why it was so hard to find anyone at the reception desk to discuss these topics during normal business hours?!
Compared to the sheer number of hotels I've stayed at previously, there is a lot of room (no pun intended) for improvement at La Pergola.

hotel is in a quiet area, but really close to the main street and vaporetto port. Rooms are big enough and confortable. There is no service and reception is often unattended but the manager is always ready to help if needed.

Not bad for a couple nights I was there over a week. You can’t complain for the price it’s a great deal. Only a few minor areas they need to work which the plumbing which the water kept on filling up when I was brushing my teeth, it was hot and stale in air in my room I couldn’t use the window because it almost fell off, the bed was okay but it smelled like sweat and I attempted to mask the smell with cologne, last but the least the pillow case had old blood stains and so did 1 of the towels. Overall I would stay here again if it’s for a max 2 nights but no more.

Overall a good experience. The hosts were lovely, the room was very nice, good facilities and a love bathroom/shower.
Breakfast was nice, no hot foods. But good for the price.
Only downside was a minor issue with ants in the room, but this was taken care off very quickly.
The island is wonderful too, very good transport links.

Spacious, light & airy, in a great location to reach the ferry terminal and local shops & restaurants.

Cheap alternative but clean rooms and only 10 minutes walk from water bus lido stop. Breakfast much better than we expected for the small amount we paid Top tip: download walking directions as although it's not far it's not straightforward.

Lovely hotel on the lido. Tasty if minimal breakfast and extremely good value. I loved the location. A five minute walk from the vaporetto stop. The lido is a great place to stay. It’s cheaper by far than the city and the choice of good restaurants is amazing.
Great to have your own little fridge to store wine and cheese in. There is a supermarket just round the corner. Can’t comment too much on the staff. It was rare to see any but the room was clean and well kept. Overall a really enjoyable stay here. I will return.
