The location was good. It was close to everything. The walls are thin and we could hear people coughing below is and we could hear people walking in the hallway whenever someone was there.
2.5
The room was not big with two beds but it was comfortable, clean and enjoyed the sauna.

Great Boutique Hotel. Clean, well looked after.

This is an old historic hotel, however it has been updated with modern amenities, for the most part. I had a single room, with a twin bed and a shared bathroom. There is a sink in the room for basic washing needs, but the toilet and shower is down the hall. The location is close to high end shopping, and a wide selection of dining.
I would stay there again

This was a perfect, central location for our first night in Vancouver. We could check in early, it was a great central location for exploring, the staff were professional and helpful and we loved the interior design - very Wes Anderson!

This place should be called a hostel not a hotel. If you are looking for something very very basic, old, no AC, and cheap, this place is for you.

Good service

Nice hotel. Room not well ventilated. No screen on window. Room was small. Good location. Nice bonus for 15% off a breakfast next door. Complimentary coffee. Not a overly safe location.
4.0
Surprisingly quiet for the location and the old building. We had a good sleep.
Price performance good for rather expensive vancouver hotels.
Convenient for a city trip

Absolutely horrible experience, said our room would sleep 3. Drove 6 hours for a concert, when we got there I room was like a broom closet, ended up having to pay for another room to accomodate the 3rd person, because we had no choice. Front desk clerk was literally a dick and wasn't helpful whatsoever. I will not book a room through this site ever again!!! And I advise other travelers to do the same!!

This hotel met my needs however since it's an older hotel the room felt muggy.
Having to ring a bell 10pm onwards to enter the building kind of felt like I had a curfew.
It's a great location for shopping and if you are catching a concert at Rogers Arena

Can't say I'd recommend staying here too a friend because of no ac.room was tiny with the window open it was noisy because of the patio below and road noise the place was very clean, for people with disabilities not great because unground parking was a distance away no luggage carrier available, last time for me for what it cost

Always my go to hotel. Youre a fool if you stay anywhere else.

Good location. Convenient for exploring the city.

I loved the old world charm of this 1910 building. The rooms were small, but very quaint. It was extremely clean and staff was very friendly.

This was an expensive, non worthwhile stay. The rooms are old, the walls are thin, it is outdated and one of the main issues I had with this property is that I requested a wake up call and they didn’t call thus it jeopardized my ability to take an early morning flight!

Super cute hotel in a convenient location for concerts. Room was small but was fine for the two of us, we were glad for the pprovided fan as there was no AC. Locked front door after hours was a great safety feature. Staying again for a concert in November.

The room was tiny compared to the photos on the website for the 300 plus the 100 of downpayment was honestly messed up and the bed was incredibly hard the quilt was scratchy and uncomfortable, also the light pollution was pretty poor, I was only able to sleep for around 4 hours before I was unable to sleep as it was too uncomfortable

I liked that the hotel is conveniently located in downtown Vancouver. The hotel was clean and the price was reasonable.

This property was adequate for our stay in Vancouver prior to taking cruise. However, there is no air conditioning so was rather warm to sleep. Would not recommend during hot spells. But otherwise, a well-situated hotel, clean and convenient.

The staff are very helpful.

For a quick trip to see a concert at the historic Orpheum theater this was a great choice. A single room and sharing a bathroom was something I hadn't done for a longwhile and they were immaculately clean. Highly recommend the adjoining restaurant Fable, great neighborhood for food and bars. Modest . .but a gem.

Great staff helped us handle a lost passport issue and were very helpful. I saw some poor reviews for the hotel, but we found it comfortable and clean

Great location right downtown, clean, comfortable room

Very clean place, but the bed was too small for two.

clean and cozy, very quiet too. will stay again.

There were a number of odd quirks with the room, particularly the placement of door handles and light switches, but overall it was a comfortable stay. The hotel is fairly reasonable, considering that almost all hotels in Vancouver are RIDICULOUSLY expensive!
3.0
The room was very very pricey against the services and amenities provided. No washroom in the room. Open basin in front of the bed. No AC ! I was just unable to sleep all night because of the noisy fan.
I am still wondering why I was charged 308 bucks $100 on hold. Expedia should stop listing such old properties. It's a total dissatisfaction for travellers like me.
Only good thing was the front desk staff. Rest the hotel should consider their prices. Totally not worth it, unsatisfied!!!!
