Nice location, great views and close to the beach and public transportation which is a plus..space could benefit from some upgrades given the price they charge. Swimming pool is still under renovation,
Overall, a very good option for a short stay in Waiheke.

Nice views

Terrible experience, would NOT recommend

Very clean property - easy check in although the instructions could have been clearer (we were advised to check in after 2PM but when we arrived, the reception said they are closed from 2PM in winter so this was a little confusing). Other than that, fantastic stay!

Thoroughly enjoyed my time staying at the resort it is a fantastic place to stay and wish I could have stayed longer.
3.9
Rather steep site with many steps down and up to and from our unit.
Only found out no services available the day we arrived including food that we anticipated getting onsite so had to travel elsewhere to get something to eat.
No reception open on arrival or at several other times we tried.
3.9
Lovely property - had everything you need, very convenient Unfortunately the toilets nearest the public spa were very dirty - had smoke butts, strange looking food on the ground, a pair of underwear in the sink and purple splashed everywhere up the walls etc

The resort was fine and the breakfast that we had was sumptuous .
Private spa pool was very good and relaxing.

We booked a king bed and got there and it was two singles. Arrived at 5.30pm so reception was closed so could not change.

Avoid Waiheke Island Resort! Had a terrible experience where our room was completely not clean even when first checked-in! Dirty and unprepared, bedsheet unmade, towels all over toilet, used coffee cup in kitchen. Staff were unhelpful with insufficient follow-ups, even hanging up on us. They moved us to a worse room without the view we paid for to settle and couldn't reach them anymore to assist luggage up and down the stairs changing over rooms. No follow-up or proper apology, hair still spot on “cleaned” bedsheet. Don't waste your time and money here!

Room was fantastic, but get a top floor, we had kids staying upstairs and the floors are thin, their running was extremely loud. Palm Beach down the road is beautiful, with some great walks. We tried to eat at the restaurant at 7.15pm but it had closed early because it was a quiet night, we at down the bottom of the hill at the Arcadia, which was a fantatic feed.

The location near palm beach is very convenient. The pool was quite nice but too cold. Hot tub needed some maintenance
The mini put golf was fun for kids!

We were supposed to have an ocean view room and it had Nothing to speak of …!!!
No restaurant No yoga!
Very unhappy with what the site had shown .
3.9
Beautiful setting, friendly accommodating staff. The food in the restaurant was delicious!!

Staff was super friendly and very helpful anserwing all my queries patiently.

We liked the privacy and quietness and clean fresh unit we stayed in. The steps down were a little steep to access unit re being in our 70's. The dining area was lovely with great outlook. there was an awful outside light on the unit next door which shone directly into our windows at night. It would be better if it didn't stay on all night but was sensor only and switched off when no one entering the units during the night. Other than that it was a nice stay and perfect for our needs.

The island and resort are a stunning setting. The cocktails were good and the staff were friendly but unable to handle complaints.
I room was on a very steep hill down from and therefore back up to reception and pool area.
The room was clean and spacious but very dated. WiFi was adequate and balcony had beautiful views.
Being a bank holiday weekend, the resort hosted a loud party by the pool. The pool area needs maintenance and the spa was dirty. We paid over NZ$100 to use the private hottub but they brought us the Prosecco included in the price and left it unopened some way from us. The private hot tub had also been used by some off the party guests so it got cold quickly.
The pool area changing rooms were also dirty the next morning at 11:30.
When we complained the staff just shrugged.
Apparently breakfast was included on Sunday if you stayed on Saturday night but we weren’t told this until Monday on checkout. They did give us breakfast instead on Monday but only a choice of 3 basic things with no coffee included which we had to pay extra for.
I would come back to the island but not this hotel.

Awesome views of the ocean. Amazing and friendly staff. The room was really spacious and clean.
I will definitely be going there again and will recommend Waiheke Island resort to all my friends and family that wants to stay for a weekend or longer in Waiheke.
3.9
Set up of the units was nice and spacious. As we were without a car we had quite a lot of steps to walk down and up from our unit. This wouldn't suit those less mobile.
3.9
A great stay, clean room and bathroom comfortable bed, vey spacious, all required amenities for a short stay. Breakfast included and of the 03 options , 02 of them were tasted, and they were so nice.
3.9
Nice quiet hotel............on a hill........be prepared to walk, but enjoy the views and the nice restaurant on site; good access to the beach if you walk and great pool!!
3.9
The resort was nice and our apartment was comfortable. The hotel staff were not helpful - when we arrived at 5pm, there was no one at check in. After standing around for a few minutes, despite being only metres from the restaurant bar, no one said hello or offered to help. Even when I approached the bar and said we would like to check in, they said “wait” and then never came. They weren’t even busy! It turned out the reception was closed and our key was in a box - but the bar staff could have at least said hi and told us this. They were so rude and incompetent.
3.9
Nicely presented and clean
3.9
Good value, clean and comfortable rooms with a great view.
3.9
The photos must be ten years old, as the current condition of the Architecture is dated and worn. The pool and spas in particular are so disappointing that we didn't go in at all. The private Spa is not private at all and the cheek of asking $250 for two hours inc a bot($20 prosecco and basic cheeses) on top of a $411 stay is a rip off. The water view Balcony is not worth paying more for.
3.9
The property was only average, it was peak time yet reception was only open from 10am - 4pm. An envelope waiting when arrived, with key and map.
When paying $440 a night for a studio I expected better.
Menu was very limited, most items on menu unavailable. No TV or wifi on, had to wait for gardener to appear to fix.
Sick and tired hearing "because of covid"
If you have limited offering then at least discount rooms, to reflect the 'limited" everything.
3.9
The resort by itself is a comfortable and relax accomodation with good environment. However, the service is not too good both room cleanliness (only change bath towels but not others) and breakfast staff were very slow and may need to wait for more than 10 min to take order.
3.9
had a family emergency so couldnt stay - the no refund policy is painful like that
3.9
Location was good and good to have a busstop right outside, The Receptionist very helpful with directions on getting to the resort from the Ferry Terminal and Barstaff were very warm and friendly😊

We really loved the views and location on the property.
It was cold on the island at night and extra blankets in the room would have been great.
3.9
