Just WOW! One of the best hotels I have ever stayed at. The service was OUTSTANDING. The amenities and the location also outstanding. We stayed in the premium oceanfront room and I cried when we left we had such an amazing stay.

The hotel is located at the end of the beach overlooking the harbor. It also is in the old town so it is a very convenient place to stay. There is a small roof top patio with a very small pool. It looks a lot more spectacular in the pictures than it is although it has a good view of it the bay. A nice well located hotel in a beautiful setting. Service at the hotel is excellent.

We stayed for two nights whilst exploring San Sebastián. To be honest, you cannot beat this hotel for location. You’re within the old town and close walking distance of all the key areas, beaches and transport options.
We loved the chic, luxury design of the hotel and the attention to detail. The service was personal and felt that the staff were happy to help make our stay unforgettable from the moment we arrived. The welcome drink too was a lovely touch.
The room was spotlessly clean, super comfortable and even had a Japanese toilet! As a sustainable initiative, a full range of bathroom amenities are not put out but are available on request. If I had to make a criticism I felt that for a hotel of this quality something as simple as conditioner or moisturiser was an inconvenience to have to ask for and I would have preferred for that to be in the room, but it is a very minor thing. We also felt that it was a shame that the television had limited functionality/channels and disabled the use of Netflix.
The view from the rooftop is unrivalled and a beautiful spot to enjoy the most gorgeous panoramic harbour view. I would say the pool is smaller than it appears online and unheated so more for a quick cool down than a swim but we definitely appreciated having it.
All in all, we loved staying at this hotel and it would be an easy decision to return back to if in San Sebastián again.

Great overall hotel and excellent location, well worth its rates.

Beautiful hotel in the old section of the city. The room was very comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Lovely hotel. My complaint about noise is specific. We were there the week of a festival and our room faced the festival grounds (until we were kindly moved to a quiet room facing the square). We couldn't sleep (even with earplugs) until after 3am or so when the festivities ended. In fairness, the hotel did advise that there was a festival going on, but it was too vague -- didn't suggest that sleep would not be possible.

Hotel is very nice and location is perfect. Little disapointment was swimming pool in rooftop. Its too little to swim.

Great hotel in central location, minutes walk from historical monuments and poncho bars. Only issue is parking, if you have a car it is difficult to approach the hotel and parking is expensive. Better not to drive in San Sebastián. Great restaurant, la Jarana, in the hotel, one of the best in the city. need reservations.

Based in the gorgeous old town, the hotel is in a perfect spot for dining out on the fabulous array of pintxos bars and restaurants. Albeit the hotels own bar is very hard to beat! The cheesecake is a must! The views of the bay are spectacular. Taking a drink up to the roof terrace was a real treat after a day of exploring.

Our stay at Hotel Lasala exceeded our expectations. The hotel is ideally located in San Sebastián; right in the most exciting old town area.
The hotel has, I believe, been recently renovated. Our room had many new tech features. BUT more unexpectedly, our view of the bay was spectacular. We did opt for a sea view room but were very surprised by the extent of our view and access to enjoy it with our small balcony. We highly recommend that you pay the small up charge for the sea view room.
The staff is very professional and interesed in providing 5-star service.
We are seasoned travelers in Europe and agreed that Lasala was one of the best surprises of our travels

The building is very nice, room was beautiful and well decorated. The food at the restaurant was very good as well as breakfast where the staff was really nice. Location was precious, if only my room had sea view, would be perfect (and very expensive!). The only improvements would be a covered area at the roof top since the weather was not stable and to have another area for guests beside the reception like a library. The fact that we could not eat a piece of cake in the afternoon at the bar surprised us (kitchen is closed, only coffee or drinks available) was a missed opportunity.

This was an exceptional hotel, the room we had was large and comfortable, well equipped and spotlessly clean. The staff were amazing, very helpful and friendly. Very well located for old town and new town. Can’t fault it.

The hotel is very well located, and on top of that it's beautiful and very comfortable, and built with attention to detail. My room was big, extremely well equipped, had a comfortable bed, and a big and very clean bathroom.
The staff was generally very nice and helpful, and breakfast was nothing short of superb.
I would most definitely come back to this hotel and recommend it to anyone looking to spend a few years in San Sebastian.
In terms of parking, it's expensive, but it works well. If you are willing to walk a few blocks there other options available, albeit less convenient.
Summarizing, it is an amazing hotel that deserves an absolute 10/10.
