Spacious, modern, clean, comfortable room. Hearty breakfast. Very friendly staff. A very nice comfortable stay away on business!

We had a very enjoyable stay after a good family party at the pub.
The attic room was very comfortable, though rather too warm. We had to open the windows, but the heavy rain that night meant we couldn't leave them open too much.
Also, that heavy rain on the Velux windows did disturb us quite a bit. Nothing that the Inn could do about it, just lead to disturbed sleep.

Excellent friendly place. Lovely pub downstairs.

This is a lovely pub with restaurant just north of Cardiff. It's in the country but only about 20 minutes out of the city by car. It's set at the bottom of a mountain/large hill, in beautiful countryside. At the top there are views over South Wales and beyond to Somerset. The pub has accommodation attached, with 3 rooms. Ours was comfortable, clean and well-appointed with good facilities. It was quiet in the room even though the pub was sometimes busy. The service-levels were high. The staff were attentive and friendly. They are really can do (where many places are not).. in particular, the owner/front of house manager Rob made sure all customers and guests were looked-after.. The bar staff were great and I want to especially mention Sarah who works there, Maggie and Rob managing the accommodation, they were all great.. Thanks for a memorable experience.

Our room was exceptionally comfortable and impeccably clean, with a cozy bed that ensured a great night's sleep. Additionally, our interactions with Monika were outstanding, and Rob and Maggie made us feel truly at home. The Full Welsh Breakfast Maggie prepared was exceptionally delicious! I highly recommend this Inn and would return if the chance presented itself.

Country pub atmosphere not that far from centre of Cardiff. Excellent food . Friendly staff and rooms are of a high standard.

Great place despite the pub being closed during our visit. Breakfast was fantastic cooked fresh to order really setting us up for the day. Friendly staff and owners. Would definitely revisit

Clean, decent sized rooms.
I was initially concerned about noise from the bar below but this was not a problem, even with windows open and customers outside below. Because it was so warm, we did have all the windows open and noise from the nearby A470 was a bit of a problem.
Great breakfast. We didn't eat in the restaurant but the menu looked good.

A little off the beaten track but accommodation was excellent. All staff were friendly and courteous. Room was spacious with a great shower. Pub below/next door had a good selection of real ales.

I chose the B&B based on location, coming from a long drive through Wales. I missed the fact that the pub is closed Mon/Tue: mea culpa. Was contacted via WhatsApp with check-in instructions. Worked for me but perhaps not everyone. The room, under the roof, was a bit hot.

Excellent place to stay with really good food and great range of beers. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly making you feel like regular visitor in this small community pub. First class and would recommend it, even if only for some food, drinks and friendly faces.

Although this is essentially a pub with rooms (which I normally avoid like the plague) this one is well thought through and the owner has thought about privacy and peace in the design. Generous breakfast and great offer for an evening meal. Friendly and helpful staff. Would stay again. Room 2 where I stayed was adequate but a little tired and the mattress needs replacing.

A lovely thriving local pub. Great food and beers.

Very comfortable room and very clean, plenty of space for my one night stay. Breakfast starts at 8am which was too late for me but host contacted and offered an earlier start or preparing something to take with me. A nice touch. Car park is used by others who are noisy leaving, revving car engines at 10.30 but not a reason not to stay. Have already looked at a second stay. recommend this.

This was a village inn on the outskirts of Cardiff
Although it is technically in the city, the inn is on a wooded hillside in a pretty village- we were able to go for a walk felt as if we were in the country
The room was large and very pleasant
The inn runs a restaurant and we were able to have a very nice meal featuring local produce.
There is also a typical pub attached with local brews available
The proprietor, Rob , and staff were very friendly and helpful
Perfect place for a relaxed weekend
