Three of us decided to do a NYC trip for the Christmas season. We picked this hotel for it's location, and it's price and it was great! The employees were so pleasant, and helpful, the lobby and restaurant/bar were clean and festive, along with the outdoor seating area. It was within walking distance to so many things like Radio City, Rockefeller Plaza, Times Square....perfect! We flew into La Guardia and it was an expensive taxi ride (though cheaper than Uber) so keep that in mind.

Impressed with the accommodations. The staff was professional, personable, efficient and helpful.

Hotel is clean. We requested for a room that will accommodate 3 people but only had towels for two and pillows for 2 people. We had to request for a third set of towels and pillows. Then we only had one chair and when I requested the answer was no.

Great location and service here! It’s nestled between 6th Ave. for Macy’s Parade and Times Square for shows - - so AWESOME area to stay!!!

Incredibly beautiful hotel, and the lobby smells amazing! We visited during Thanksgiving and it was beautiful set up with trees and Christmas lights. The entire staff was very friendly. Minute walk to Times Square! Highly recommend and would stay there again.

Tyler, at the front desk, was very helpful and the property was very convenient and clean!

We came in on a friday morning. Check in was simple and quick. Our room was ready early. Had trouble figuring out lighting and temperature control. Could use more drawer space. Chair and beds were comfortable. Cleaning service was exceptional and all staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast buffett was good and hotel was very nice. Would recommend to others. Thank you

We had a comfortable stay at this hotel. Breakfast was well organised despite the huge number of people needing breakfast. The member of staff who greeted you when the lift arrived at the floor for breakfast was always so cheery and friendly. After two days he remembered our floor number which was very impressive. We never had to wait more than 20 minutes in the line for breakfast. Only complaint is there is no coffee machine in the room.

From the minute we checked in everything was exceptional. The desk clerk was very helpful and thorough. They checked to make sure everything was good with our room, they provided a courtesy bottle of water. The breakfast option was delicious. It was well organized and well run. The choices were very plentiful. The one day we were late leaving our room, the maid still made sure our room was made up. The bell captain was helpful in securing a cab for us at departure. It was a very nice facility, the room and bathrooms were very comfortable. The location was perfect clise to restaurant row, theaters and shopping. Delighted all the way around.

Although the hotel has excellent facilities and a desirable location, the lobby staff could have been better treated at different times. At check-in, I was treated very condescendingly, and the person who assisted me asked if I could pay for my stay. The limited availability of elevators at breakfast time was another thing I didn't like about the hotel.

The stay was good, staff were excellent - very friendly. There was a refrigerator in the room but no microwave. Additionally when I asked the concierge. He said there was no microwave available for guests - even in a common area. I had reserved a one-,bedroom king suite with a sofa sleeper in the living room but my room was a simple king room with a love-seat that opened to a bed. Breakfast was very organized and the offerings were quite extensive.

Everything was good EXCEPT for the breakfast-situation. We were staying at your hotel for 7 days and the first the 3 days we went down for breakfast. It took 25-40 minutes, after standing in 3 different lines, to enter the restaurant. The breakfast meal was very good but the the room was nearly a nightmare of noise. The last 4 days we ordered grab&go.
IT IS NOT ACCEPTABEL - and not the kind of things we are used to in other similar hotels.

Staff were welcoming, friendly and efficient. We noticed the cleanliness of rooms being checked. Our room was comfortable and being able to open the window was a bonus. Breakfast was adequate and coffee could be improved.

A Gem in the Heart of Times Square
If you’re looking for a top-notch stay in the bustling heart of Times Square, this hotel is a stellar choice. From the moment I walked through the doors, I was impressed by the impeccable cleanliness and welcoming atmosphere.
The location couldn’t be more perfect—right in the center of all the action, with iconic landmarks, Broadway shows, and fantastic dining options just steps away. Despite being in the middle of the excitement, the hotel managed to maintain a serene and restful environment.
The rooms were spotless, with every detail meticulously attended to. The modern decor was both stylish and comfortable, creating a perfect retreat after a day exploring the city. The staff were exceptional—friendly, efficient, and always ready to assist with a smile.
Whether you’re in town for business or pleasure, this hotel offers an unbeatable combination of prime location, cleanliness, and top-tier service. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking to experience the best of New York City from a superbly comfortable and convenient base.

The staff was very helpful and check-in was easy. Great location to Times Square and subway access and rooms were updated to our liking. Great coffee and breakfast available in the hotel. We enjoyed lattes each morning before we hit the ground running. We would definitely return to this location and recommend to others.

Two problems with this property, one small but very annoying and "cheap", one large:
1. No coffee in the room is available. That is absolutely below standard. I travel for business often and have done so for years...every single hotel provides this. There is no free coffee or water in the lobby either. So one is forced to pay for and try to go to breakfast. Overall I felt that the property is trying to squeeze every penny out of guests (automatic charge for even one hour past check out, etc.)
2. The crowds. The elevators are packed and one must wait -- if I had not been upgraded to a higher floor my experience would have been even worse; breakfast is impossible despite staff best efforts.
I'm unlikely to stay again.

Our stay at the RIU was pleasant overall. Room was clean check-in staff were friendly. The reason for the 4 star is the bathroom smelt like sewer and the pillows were terrible.

This place is kind of felt more like an all inclusive resort in Mexico. You need to keep your hotel card in aThis place kind of felt more like an all inclusive resort in Mexico. You need to keep your hotel card in a slot for you to have electricity. They did not accommodate my early check in whatsoever. In fact, they were even asking why I called ahead of time which I have never had. They have strong accents that are difficult to understand. And there was nothing special about this place at all except for the free breakfast, which also felt very Mexican resort like. I did not feel like I was in New York City whatsoever. I feel like I wasted my money. I should’ve stayed in another hotel. I do not recommend This .

Very nice shower. Large room.
Hallways are very noisy, especially early in the morning when people are leaving. We were at the very end of the hallway and voices echoed from the other end of the hallway.

Great Hotel near Times Square and near the subway. Staff was nice. Breakfast was good but the chaos around it was a bit of a bummer.

Everything was very nice from check in experience to check out! I especially loved the comfortable bed and eco-friendly room. Although the hotel is less than a block off of Times Square, lights and sounds were not an issue from the room. I would definitely stay there again!
