The hotel was reasonably priced and a great location in Midtown/times square. The rooms were really big and the amenities (including free bottled water) were top notch. The staff was very helpful, the lobby inviting and a nice place to hang out. The hotel really needs some love, several spots of worn carpet or just missing on the edges. Safe in the room didn't work, decor was broken, lots of little things in the common areas that were in need of love or repair. That said, for the money and location it was clean and nice and I would absolutely stay again.

I would have liked to have a tub. Very small room. Most of the staff were friendly. Siad was excellent! The mattress sloped on the side, but was comfortable in the middle. The room was clean.

Great location. Close to Times Square but distant enough to avoid the crowds, noise and lights. We were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go. Theatres, parks and iconic NY areas. Travelled during December so it was the height of Christmas season.

Great hotel! My husband and I traveled to New York for the first time for our five-year anniversary. The hotel had great staff. The room was amazing and the views from our room were breathtaking. The staff at the check-in counter were friendly and helpful as we requested a higher floor room since it was our first time. Jeff was amazing with our luggage and also helping us schedule our ride back to the airport when we checked out. Hotel was super clean and housekeeping was great with giving us service every day and making sure we had plenty of towels and a clean room to come to every night with water. I would definitely recommend this place as it was so convenient to all the places we wanted to go to when it came to see New York. The area was safe and I felt very comfortable at the hotel.

Professional reception staff, bar staff a bit disengaged. Hotel very expensive for what it was, probably double London prices.

The location of the hotel was perfect for us. However, the room was quite small and there were some maintenance issues that could use addressing. The doorman were excellent and they were always super friendly. The gym smelled a bit musty so we chose not to work out in it. There isn’t much room for suitcases and our room only had one nightstand.

Great location. Worth the price. Room was warm on the 12th floor in December. Street noise was quiet from about 10 PM to 5:30 AM. Service, front desk, door staff were excellent.

This was my second stay here and I was very pleased. We had a deluxe room and it was spacious and comfortable. It was a birthday trip and Anabelle at the front desk took great care of me and made it a special stay! It’s a great location and a comfortable hotel.

The location was great and the hotel met our needs. The only drawback was the heat in the room. It was very hot and even though maintenance came up to help, we were unable to cool the room off to our liking.

The location is very good, it right in the corner of broadway and 54th. The hotel is very clean and well maintained. There is no street noise in my room. I am very happy with this hotel for the price I paid. The tall guy named Jeff who is in charge of luggage storage in the morning seems very intimidating and rude. The guys in the afternoon and evening are super nice. One thing was the key to elevator. You have to slide it to a slot while the door is closed. Also the room key’s arrow is misprinted, in fact you need to insert the key in the opposite direction of the arrow. At first no one told me and I could not get to the room. I had to come down from the 10th floor to the front desk to ask. I wish the front desk person told me when I got my key. Other than that this is a great place to stay in midtown.

Great location, friendly staff. Not a bad sized room for midtown. We didn't shower or use the TV so no report there. Perfect for out day-trip purpose. We will stay there again.

This was in the perfect spot for our trip! Just down the street from Central Park and Times Square but just far enough where the crowds were not nearly as bad. Loved the service as well.

Ok here is the deal: midtown location was good. The front desk people need to be more friendly. The doormen were great. Very friendly and helpful. The hotel could use an update. The mattress was saggy. Rooms a bit dated. No view. The rooms were very clean. Cleaning staff deserves credit. No restaurant. They do have coffee in the morning.

The hotel looks nice from outside. Roms are to small , smell extremely strong Chlore!! And the worst thing : the noise of the street… almost impossible to sleep .

Got a good deal on this place using Hotels.COM for a quick trip-- just over $200 for a Monday night with all taxes/ fees. I was going to a show a bit further north but was advised to stay in this area instead, and found this hotel a good balance between positive reviews and moderate (for Manhattan) price. Check-in was fast, easy, and friendly. I had a little trouble with my room key because apparently they had coded them upside-down relative to the arrows, but once I learned, all got sorted.
The room was small-- queen size bed with end tables but really almost no other space in the room, and a tiny bathroom. But I wasn't in New York to spend hours (awake) in my room, so this was just fine. Four big pillows on the bed, and all amenities needed in the restroom (soap, shampoo, conditioner, etc.) The room and halls were clean-- not new but clearly well maintained. My room was also right by the elevator, but the noise wasn't bothersome.
Again, don't expect luxury, but it's a fine place to be able to spend the night at an affordable (for Manhattan) price, and the area has so many things to do/ eat/ see nearby. I'd totally come back.

The location of this hotel was great and made it easy to get to Broadway as well as the other areas we were in town to see.
They’ve updated the bathrooms, which is really nice, but the furniture in our room was dated and in slight disrepair. The fabric on the bedframe was all torn off and the drawer in the dresser wouldn’t stay closed. Not a huge issue since we didn’t spend a lot of time in the room, but for the price I would think those things would be nicer.
The “fitness center” is tiny and in the basement so we didn’t use it, I’m guessing most people don’t.
