The location is perfect and the cottage was delightful and the hot tub was superb. Such a beautiful setting. Have already booked again.

Doğada oluşu çok keyifliydi.
Uber ve taksi bulamadığımız bir anda, bizi tren garına bırakmaları çok güzel bir davranıştı.
Şehir dışında olması iyi değildi, arabasız erişim zorlayıcıydı.

The cottage (converted stable) was small but well laid out. The bed was comfortable with good quality linen. The farm is conveniently located for visiting York and Harrogate.
We knew the farm was located on a main road but were disappointed to find that our particular cottage was very close to the road, so close in fact that when we were in the kitchen we could see large lorries racing past our window. We found this off-putting.

What a lovely little place!
This was the cosiest accommodation we have stayed in, with all the perfect touches. Whilst we struggled to get warm the night we arrived (it was -2C!) once we got the log burner going we were nice and toasty.
Small things that made a huge difference included having plenty of tea, coffee and sugar sachets so we didn't have to buy these for the sake of 2 nights, and even enough milk sachets to have a cuppa when we got there (with our free packs of biccies!). Sachets of mayo and tomato sauce for the same reason.
Everything we needed to cook whatever we wanted to. All toiletries (minus toothpaste, standard) were included too. Bed very comfy and considering it is on a main road, the owners have done incredibly well the mask the sound of this, including the shutters in the bedroom which made a huge difference. Road noise did not affect us at all.
Smart TV, USB sockets (brought hard drive), few card games, books and board game.
Very well cleaned throughout.
Tips for other guests:
Park & Ride to York is £3.60 each all day, get there earlier and you queue for less time.
Closest supermarket is about 20 mins away, would recommend going via one at Wetherby on your way if coming from A1 as saves you going back on yourself.
You don't get much warning from satnav for the turn into the site, even with the owners very specific instructions we missed it. Largely because my partner refuses to slow down when looking. Its actually easier to see at night as the sign is lit. But it's green and the owners instructions are helpful. Just get a partner who knows how to slow down.
Nothing, it was perfect.
Not a dislike, but the bath is quite short. I found it hilarious seeing my 6 ft odd partner use it. He used the shower the next night and said it was very nice and powerful.

The venue is beautiful, quirky and well looked after. Our children loved seeing the animals. The cottage was comfy, clean and homely. Staff were friendly and accommodating.
The door to the conservatory was broken and the conservatory roof leaked when it rained! Few hairs in the bathroom when we arrived but nothing to worry about. Hard to pick fault as we really loved our stay.

The location was quiet and the cottage was well equipped with everything we need. Close to york too just a short drive away. We stayed for the one night and found it to be perfect for a relaxing night away.
We didnt find anything we didnt like.

Location was fine. Easy to find and near to what we had planned to visit. Yes, there is traffic noise but this was no surprise due to the location. Kitchen was clean and well equiped and lovely to find they have the same Denby crockery as me! The animals were lovely and loved the mix of different types of accommodation available on site.
Bathroom was not as clean as I hoped. Would also have appreciated a non-slip rubber/plastic shower mat as I am sometimes unsteady on my feet in the mornings.

Quaint country cottage, with everything you needed.
Little noisy off the road. Not that it spoiled our stay x

Very clean and tidy, warm and cosy, nice modern appliances, central heating warmed the place up in a jiffy, shower worked off the boiler so had good pressure and was quick to get hot, beds were very comfy.
Cottage was quite close to a busy main road so there was a little noise and slight concern over our dog escaping the cottage as there were no main gates to stop access onto the road. Minor issues were the small road into the cottage could do with some maintenance as there were a few pot holes and there was no bedside light in one of the bedrooms.

property was gorgeous, absolutely fabulous value for money!! We stayed in no1, The Stables. It had 2 bedroom, kitchen and living space, as well as a conservatory and a private garden. Absolutely loved it
my only negative would be it is on a main road and therefore can be noisy

Love the cottage itself, comfortable and well equipped
A warning, not a criticism. There's quite a lot of road noise, which is fine if you're used to it. But if not, take ear plugs

The place was warm and cosy. Beautifully set up and perfect for our overnight stay, especially as it is just off the A1. We loved having use of the fireplace, and the kitchen was well equipped.
Nothing to fault.

The rooms were very homely, well furnished and comfortable. Everything we needed was provided and the check in process was very efficient and contact less. The location is not to far from York as long as you have a car. You will not get anything this size for the cost closer to York. It was cheaper than a double room within walking distance of York town centre so you need to chose if location or comfort is most important.
Location but matched the details so it was not unexpected. Worth travelling father to get so much room.
