Loved out stay, a mom with 2 young kids. The kids loved the capsule hotel theme and I loved that we were still able to have our own room and the tatami bed with space to leave all our stuff comfortably. We had a long vacation in Japan, with many hotels with much higher star-ratings but the Cocts was our kids favourite! Highly recommended!

Fantastic place to stay, was in the 3 bed room, very sutibale for families and small groups

Perfect place to stay in Tokyo. Great price, great location and the friendliest staff we’ve encountered in our 2 months in Japan. Highly recommend.

Booked a “Tent Room” for a family. I never expected that this would be a tent room in as literal as possible. The room was a horrible Astro turf floor and two tents on either side of the room. This matched the pictures and seemed like a fun idea. The problem was no mattresses or bedding, at all. Instead, there were ancient camping pads and twenty year old sleeping bags with a couple of extra blankets. No futon mattress, not even air mattresses. Just camp pads that had been compressed to a sheet of paper.
We requested some kind of actual mattress and did receive one flat mattress for the five of us. No one slept and the Astro turf was scratchy and bad.
Only book this room if you are used to sleeping directly on wooden floors or if you bring your own bedding like you are literally camping.
The TV was a projection screen that didn’t work and the WiFi was useless.
The staff was pleasant and the common areas were fine.

Cute hostel, clean and well maintained. Staff speak English and are very friendly. Bathrooms are pristine and spacious. Do note that a towel is not included and will be a (small) additional charge to rent. The rooms are not soundproof and some other guests would do well to know that…

There was a slight miscommunication in regards to their closing time for check ins due to a website error but they were really kind and considerate about our situation and got us checked in as smooth as possible.

There is the cafe on grand-floor, It's was nice.
But there is no restaurant around hostel. So have to walk 5-10min to near the station(Asakusa-bashi or Akihabara).

Bad service counter, the light intensity in the cabin too strong that hurts the eyes, not much hot water to take a shower, the dining room is dangerous because it has 2-3 floor levels: a child and I almost fell down.

Messy due to other residents. Amenities are just older too and more worn I guess.

What I love the most about this place is the staff there. It really feels like being at home or in a college dorm with a bunch of close friends and family. Most of the staff are young adults, super friendly and kind and well versed in many languages, particularly English.
The area is very close to Asakusabashi station (Chuo-Sobu line) and a short walk to Akihabara Electric town.
If I didn't have a flight already set. I wouldve have exteneded my stay in Japan just to hang out there.

We received a warm welcome and enjoyed our stay. The 5-10 min walk to the stations weren't bad and then you can be in the heart of akihabara. Plus, there are some nearby options for eating.
Watch your head entering the cafe if you are tall-- my two sons are 6'4" and they both nearly bonked their heads a few times. :o)
Rooms were basic, but comfortable and I'd definitely recommend!

The property was very friendly and enjoyable! Even though the rooms were on the smaller side for 3 of us, they were comfortable.

The property was awesome! It required a bit of a walk to most public transportation, but was quiet as a result. Make sure to bring your own towels, and the breakfast is just one donut so you may need more fuel for a full day of walking around the city.

I stayed 6 nights in a triple room. It was small but enough for us. This small hotel is clean and well organized. Only downside is that it's little too far from train stations. You can take one of 4 different lines though.
Bring your own towl, they charge 300 yen. And you'd better use a coin laundry shop a few blocks away. The hotel has only one small washer.
Overall, it's good place and I am coming back. Staffs are friendly. The restaurant is nice with reasonable price.

ALL GOOD.

This was both my first time in Japan and my first time in this kind of stay. I had heard about the pod hotels of Japan and was interested in trying one. I stayed at this location for six nights and I really enjoyed it! The staff was all friendly and the place was pretty clean and relaxed. I had no issues whatsoever. Will recommend

It was a good place to stay for a couple of nights, very quiet. Located in a good zone, near Akihabara Station from where you can go everywhere easily.

extremely clean and wonderful lobby and everyone there was very friendly :D

Racist! Passive aggressive staff members who were antagonist and rude. Commenting on my English and slamming the door in mine and my child's face when checking out.
Upon checking I was told I would have to share a bathroom and shower with the other guest even though I booked a double room. I told the polite man at reception I was going to have a look at my booking when a extremely rude woman interjected pulling up hotel.com and telling me " it's in English" I can only imagine she pointed this out because I a black English speaker. when I told her she was being unnecessarily rude, she started and argument in front of my 11 year old child and would not deescalate the situation until I requested not to talk to her anymore. Apon check out I had left the front door without making comment or eye contact and she began to stare at me for a prolonged period of time through the glass and being antagonistic. I was then asked by another member of staff there was a problem, I began to explain the issue when she decided to come over again. I explained I don't want to speak to her and nor did I want an apology because she was attempting to make a very passive aggressive apology when a fourth member of staff came and slammed the glass door in my face shouting at me "You're leaving so go" in front of my child. I don't know if should put this down to unprofessionalism rudeness or pure racism but please avoid.

Nice hostel, if locker can be improved, that will be perfect.

Great for solo travelers, small families, and international tourists. The staff speak English well, and the location is convenient to Akihabara center. The free breakfast is a donut, and there is water, coffee, and tea provided in the lounge. They offer free luggage storage during early check-in and late check-out, which is great. The only con is that one of the two toilets on the 3rd floor was broken during our stay, which was inconvenient because that meant only one working public toilet for the entire floor.
8.0
Two of us stayed in the private one-bed room. Only issue was the dusty floor in our room. Bedding and washrooms were in excellent condition. As this is a hostel-style hotel with shared washrooms, noise is unavoidable, but was much quieter than expected. Please note, there is only one coin washer/dryer on site and you will need to wait a while, especially if the person before you doesn’t collect their laundry on time. Toothbrush, toothpaste, and towels provided for a small fee.

Good for an overnight stay. Great service but not all facilities available on every floor.
10.0
The only thing I didn't like were when you fall asleep, within twenty minutes someone would be rummaging around in their locker for 10 minutes. 20 minutes silence, repeat until 1am when everyone would finally be quiet.
10.0
The front desk staff were all friendly and helpful. Room was clean, bathrooms were clean and the facility was relatively quiet for the most part during my stay. Pretty close to akihabara, about a 15 minute walk so it made it very convenient. There is also a grocery store right around the corner for food so that was also nice.

Very lovely and cozy place to stay at. Felt very welcomed. Wished I would of talked more with the staff. Our last night was really memorable due to the lady we chatted with. Very friendly and we asked for next travel Destination for next time when we travel to Japan. She also showed us music videos and my daughter absolutely loved her!

It was nice to have a sort of capsule hotel, but than with the three of us. Good location, nice use of wood in the lobby. Informal.
