Aushaltbar.

Die Lage war sehr gut und auch die Betten bequem

Es war sehr schmutzig, besonders die Küche mit dreckigen Tellern. Auch unter dem Sofa waren alte Sachen etc. Nachts war es recht laut und es gab Ausstattung für 3 Personen, obwohl wir für 4 gebucht haben.

God beliggenhed, men ikke imponerende værelse.

God beliggenhed - ret tæt på det hele, men i en lille sidegade og tæt på busstop1! Hyggeligt værelse i rare farver og ok størrelse køkken. Der manglede en hovedpude, men værten sørgede for at der kom en ny pude samme dag.

Døren til badeværelset kunne ikke lukke, vi skrev til værten, men det blev ikke ordet. Meget ærgerligt når nu det var et af vores ønsker - fremfor at vælge et sted med fælles bad og toilet. Vores køleskab var virkelig lille (vinkøler?) og virkede ikke. Det blev dog skiftet lige inden vi skulle rejse og til et lille rigtigt køleskab. Men vi nåede ikke at få ret meget glæde af det. Når man kan sove 4 mennesker der, bør der være spiseplads til 4. Der var kun til to personer. En knagerække til alle vinterjakkerne bag døren havde været virkelig rart. Man skal kunne tåle støj fra underboerne.

We stayed here 3 nights, and it worked for us, but it was too small to be comfortable for 4 people.

There was no breakfast provided, but we bought it at a nearby store. I accidentally broke a plate, and the owner was very gracious about it. This is a property that would be better for 2 people rather than 4. It was very hard to get all our suitcases open in the limited space. Bathroom was nice. Once we were free of our suitcases, it was easy to walk around the downtown and find museums and restaurants. The price was certainly right, however, and we appreciated that.

This property is quite hard to get to, unless you take a taxi. We rode the bus from the airport, and then had to pull our suitcases quite a way. There are also steps to haul your cases up. And it is super noisy at night. There appears to be a bar nearby, and people are walking down the street, talking loudly, at all hours of the night. We took a taxi back to the airport, and while they picked us up nearby, it cost over $160 to get to the airport.

Overpriced for a rustic cabin with only the bare necessities

It was very clean great location very nice bedding

it is not a daydream by any stretch of the imagination. rustic and basic would be a nice way to describe it. The shower stall is bordered by 2 x 4 pieces of wood. the laundry room is a hazard and yes there is a washing machine but no safe way to access it: there is the bare minimum in the kitchen and no coffee machine. the freezer is completely frozen over and can not be used. I contacted property ahead of the stay and was told we would have 4 nespresso pods even thought we were 4 guests for 2 nights (they were dropped off the next day). also the address given for the property is wrong and it took us 1.5hrs to actually find it and only with the help of 2 locals who were kind enough to help us find it and make calls to the manager of the property. it was the national holiday and it was impossible to navigate the neighborhood for the duration of the stay - it would have been nice to have the management company notify us ahead of time.

Superb

We had a problems to enter to the room because reception gave us wrong pin code to lockbox. However after some calls somebody arrived to help us. Location is perfect but too many people come there in the night with loud closing door.

Location

The noise from upstairs and folks slamming doors when they check in at midnight! It is a hot apartment with one small window and the worlds thickest comforter, it would be great in the winter but summer some of us run HOT. Window also opens onto street and all of noise comes in. Yes I know I’m noise sensitive.

Disappointing

Location

Parking, issues with the key, should have provided instructions that you need to pull the handle towards you to get it open. We didn’t have power the first day due to no information or guidance that IF a certain key wasn’t pushed all the way down that it would stop the electricity. Previous renters left food in the fridge. Not enough seating, if you have 4 guests. Someone kept slamming the downstairs door both nights.or tilt was the restaurant workers going in and out of the basement. When the electricity stopped working we tried to call but got a message every time, never received a call back, only email messages and asking US to fix it.

PERFECTION!

What an insane deal!!! What a beautiful adorable little cottage- we just loved every single second! A perfect stay in the perfect location downtown. Wonderful in every way, especially for budget travelers who still want a cool experience.

Passable

Location can’t be beat! We hadn’t received the instructions (unfamiliar with Booking.com app, and thus was our first night). We called for assistance and the lady who answered was SO helpful—she really made a difference for us!

Keys (both of them) were very hard to use. It was quite frustrating to have to insert, turn, jiggle, and have nothing happen. Lock needs to be fixed. There was a mildewy smell in the room. Not sure what it was but it was unpleasant.

Very ok.

The location was perfect, it was great to be able to open the windows and get fresh air, but also be right in the heart of the city. Very close to a lot of local activities, museums, restaurants and bars.

The fridge had clearly not been de-iced in a long time and wasn’t working properly it also had a lingering fish smell. The shower head had so much buildup on it that it didn’t really feel like I was getting clean when I was showering. The confirmation email contained wrong information about how to access the key to the apartment, which led to frustration. The wifi password was changed part way through the stay, and we were notified by email…for which you need wifi. We only realized about the change because we had a data plan. Check out is listed as 11am on their Booking.com ad, but is actually 10 and they charge you if you do not leave.

A cute property in a great location

Excellent location close to restaurants, museums, and bus stops. Steps away from a craft beer pub, gelato, and the famous hot dog stand. Beds were comfortable, wifi was fast, and we received detailed photos and instructions for check-in a few days before our arrival. We even visited the Settlement Museum nearby and found this building on the diorama!

Fire escape door to balcony was jammed when we arrived, but we managed to open it.

Cozy and Convenient

Super clean, convenient, and felt like the sleeping spaces were separated within the studio-style room. Appreciated the fresh air and the cozy beds!

A few of the lights and outlets didn't work well, though most were fine. The bathroom door didn't close all the way.

Much smaller than expected. There was no separate room - both beds were in the same room - no privacy. Not as expected from teh description or the photos. Small.

The apartment was good value for money and very central. We were disappointed by the lack of Wifi.

It was in a very central location, was a good size, warm, with good kitchen equipment and comfortable beds.

No response to my question regarding lack of Wifi which we didn't have throughout our stay. Also front door needs attention as it was nearly impossible to enter and exit because the door has swollen and is very hard to open and close.

This place could have been perfect, but too many things were not working.

The location was perfect and the accomodations were roomy

1. Scavenger hunt for the keys. 2. No wifi 3. The only toilet in the place was broken and not addressed by the host. I ended up making it work

Great location and a short walk to the centre.

exceptional location, warm and clean. located up the street with the supermarket at the bottom and an ice cream parlour great last stops on the way home.

The single bed was in a room with a door, one double was in the side of the sitting room and the other was upstairs with no doors for privacy. there was no hair dryer, microwave or kettle-(just for info) we didn’t ask the owner so they may have been able to provide them.

Terrible communication, good location

The location was perfect, and the apartment itself was beautiful, with all of the facilities you would need!

The bed sheets were dirty, the inside of the cupboards were dirty and there was dust everywhere. We waited 3 hours to receive a text message abou how to enter the apartment, after calling and messaging constantly. When we finally got access to the key, it took us 10 minutes to open the door as the locks are stiff. There is only one parking space for 4 apartments and other parking spaces are not so easy to find in the immediate area

Amazing property in and amazing place. Would 100% recommend this to anyone

Totally incredible location, you couldn't ask to be more perfectly placed in Reykjavik. Beautiful large room, everything you could possible ask for. Amazing incredible historic building, right next to the main square, and right next too all the restaurants and bars, and the museums and galleries. Just perfect!

Location is great, bad service from the host, internet barely existent

Location

There was a mix up with the units I was supposed to stay in as it was already occupied when I arrived at the place so I had to switch to another unit. During my stay, another guest tried to check into my place whilst I was there due to another mix up yet again. Really bad management of the units. Barely any internet connection.
