Absolutely beautiful and quiet spot in a busy town.

A beautiful boutique hotel in a beautiful location, close to the lively Provenza area with its restaurants, bars and shops. The hotel is in a very green area and is surrounded by lush vegetation. Every room has a decor of its own. The staff are very friendly and helpful.
We thought that nibbles should be served with drinks. Also, the very good breakfasts would have been even better if yoghurt had been offered.

Absolutely wonderful. We had a patio room over looking garden- the garden is incredible. Hotel is beautiful. Agnes and staff were superb.

First and foremost, the service level at Patio del Mundo is extraordinary. Rather than a traditional hotel, this is more like a B&B nestled in the La Poblano area. It consists of two houses with patios surrounded by foliage. It is truly an oasis in the city. The staff arranged an English speaking driver/guide to take us to Guatape for a day and it was great. The breakfast isnt huge but the caliber was fine.

An oasis. Birds chirping. Beautiful gardens off the patios. Excellent breakfast overlooking a lush jungle-like setting in the middle of high rises and above an excellent string of high-end restaurants five minutes down the hill. The staff is very kind and always ready to help arrange whatever is needed. We wish we could stay for the whole week! Super quiet and safe. Peace. Beautiful professional decor. We had massages both days in a little hut in the garden. 🌹
The lilies in the reception area. I have asthma.

The Jacuzzi wasn't working during our stay

A true Gem. Nowadays, knowing this kind of place with beautiful lush gardens, friendly and professional service from Reception and a top 5 services as they would really recommend amazing places in Medellin to eat and to go out; Rooms? a Designer dream. Every touch and detail is never out of place and with such taste, yet very hommie and authentic, is truly beautiful.
The garden that surrounds the property is luscious and beautiful to walk and you would feel like in the jungle still being just a few meters away from the best restaurants of la Ciudad, way from noise but still so close to the best night.
We also loved being met with friendly and smiling staff, they were so nice you see they love taking care of you and that they love their job.
Breakfast is a must- the best croissants we experienced ever and we have been to France.
and eggs menu is delicious. I also appreciated that my veggie wife could order a very good arepa and that they did change menu for her being veggie.
Special thanks to all the staff, truly nice.
Nothing. This family hotel boutique is a 5 star in all details. My wife and I travel to only small places and hotel boutique, this is far the most of the best in a decade. A true Hotel Boutique, and spirit.

Excellent location with peace, serenity and birdsong a five minute walk from everything. Uphill climb to walk back but that served as excerise. Great breakfast in lovely patio setting.

My husband and I loved Patio del Mundo. It is on a nice quiet street in a lovely neighborhood with lots of restaurants in walking distance, and it was like staying in a tropical forest in the city with the breakfast area and patio backing up to all of the trees and gardens. Each room is unique and beautifully designed, breakfast was great with fresh fruit and a variety of eggs, pastries and pancakes to choose from. All of the staff are super kind, helpful and friendly. We will absolutely stay again if we are fortunate enough to come back to Medellín.
Everything was great!

Very upscale yet home-y property. Included breakfast is served on a peaceful and lush terrace. The service was the best part - attentive and warm employees that take care of anything needed.
Not much - but be forewarned that the property is at the top of a very steep hill and perhaps not as convenient as you think to walk to and from town.

they welcomed us with coffee and tea. Really calm place, the staff is always avalaible to help and answer any question about the city. It feels like home, the house decoration is amazing, i loved the big shower and big bed.
I had to leave early so I missed breakfast. So sad that such a nice place didn't offer me light breakfast like a sandwich and fruit. they only offered coffee or tea

Property was beautiful. Breakfast is great and staff are friendly and helpful for the most part (all except for the payment issue on our last day--see below)
Property was beautiful, with a charming pathway down to a lower deck on the hillside, where there is a nice community but tub/ jacuzzi that people raved about in the reviews, but unfortunately, the hot tub no longer works. Also, the private hot tub in our room also did not work.
Also, the night before checking out, we had a lengthy conversation with the office staff about how we were short on cash for our taxi in the morning. The reception staff booked our taxi for the following morning and assured us we could add the taxi to our room and pay by credit card. Noone was around in the office the next morning when the taxi picked us up. When we arrived at the airport the taxi driver insisted on being paid in cash and when he called the hotel, the hotel also insisted that we pay the taxi driver in cash for two mini-bar items we had consumed on our last night. The hotel wanted the taxi driver to accompany us to the ATM, but we were late for our flight. We ended up paying with all the remaining cash in our pockets.

I really loved the breakfast area and the room.
I would recommend they add some external light to the facilities so that's easy to spot at night.

Great location and lovely garden/patio.
Breakfast was mediocre - no yogurt, only onions and tomatoes for the omelet, coffee wasn’t what one expects in Colombia. Tv in the room was the size of a small computer monitor.

Breakfast was good, although there was no cheese included on the menu. Close to the restaurants.
The window blinds in the shower are see through. I felt like people in the buidings on the other side could see when your showering especialy if the lights are on.
