공항이용시 강추합니다.

가족이 운영하는 곳이고 공항에서 차로 5분정도 짐없고 젊으면 걸어도 괜찮겠고요.깨끗하고 친절하십니다. 현지식으로 조식 맛있었고요.저녁은 6불에 원하면 해주시는데 생선까스 맛있게 먹었습니다.음식재료가 모두 신선한것이어서 더맛이 좋았습니다. 저의 짐작이긴한데 제가 나이가 좀 들어서 그런지 다인실 예약했었는데 4인실에 그냥 혼자 묵도록 편의를 봐주셨고요 감사하게 생각합니다. 공항까지 데려다주셔서 편히 잘왔습니다. 공항 이용하실분들은 여기서 묵는거 추천합니다.

4인실에 혼자 묵어서 저는 편안했지만 4인을 위해서는 방이 작은편입니다. 그래도 커튼이 있어서 괜찮을래나요. 그외에는 다좋았고요 공항까지 가는 비용있습니다.

Good for a quick stop but no AC in dorm rooms

Give you a towel, access to garden late evening, shuttle was the owner driving you to the airport

No AC in the room, only a fan which didn’t reach my top bunk so had a very hot and stuffy sleep.

Not a bad place to stay on a budget.

No parking area. Have to park off street on narrow road.

It was more of a hostel than a hotel or motel. Shower was warm, not hot enough for my wife. I didn't realize that there were no a/c so we had the fan blasting the whole night.

Perfect cosy stay, great food and very clean

This was my second stay at this hostel and after my last stay I told everyone to go there I’d they’re flying out of San Jose. Absolutely perfect for before/after flying, super homey, super clean, and I love the egg chair in the garden. Food here is super good too, I’d recommend paying the $6(?) for dinner.

Super Hostel mit familiärer Atmosphäre

Ich habe mich sehr wohlgefühlt in Gardens House. Das Personal war super freundlich und hilfsbereit und das Frühstück war auch super lecker (Gallo Pinto). Die Zimmer waren sehr sauber und der Garten lädt zum Entspannen ein. Ins Zentrum braucht man zu Fuß ca. 15 min. Ich würde das Hostel definitiv weiterempfehlen.

Everything was clean and so homie! I felt right at home with the loveliest staff and comfortable facilities. The location was also perfect as I had a flight the next day.

Great value for money, close to airport

Really good value for money and great location close to the airport for late or early flights. The owners were really helpful and friendly, and can organise an airport pickup for an extra fee.

Perfect first night

Staff was so friendly and helpful, was perfect for my first night. I had arranged a pickup at the airport, had dinner there and even got my Kolbi SIM card and plan set up directly at the hostel. The room was clean and the bed was comfy with a little curtain around it.

Summed up by what they constantly told me during my stay “mi casa es tu casa” and so it was!

Excellent breakfast and the coffee is perfect! Easy airport transfer Incredibly helpful owners/staff - they couldn’t be more helpful when you’re planning things to do in the area or getting to your next destination! An atm also ate my bank card during my stay and they were more than happy for me to order a replacement card to arrive at their property whilst I was in another location in Costa Rica.

The owners are so kind and helpful! It felt like I’d gone back to my parents house for the night.

It was very homey and relaxing with a tranquil water fountain in the courtyard.

The breakfast could’ve had a few more plantanes. So really everything was amazing!

the staff were extremely lovely, warm, and helpful—my flight arrival time changed a lot and I ended up arriving very late in the middle of the night and there was someone waiting to greet me. + the back little garden was soothing!

It was clean, comfortable, and affordable

They were very accommodating. My flight got delayed and I didn't get in until well after midnight. I just wanted a place to lay my head at that point and they waited on me.

This is a wonderful place to be!

The breakfast was a wonderful surprise as I wasn’t expecting it and very generous I might add. I loved the garden with the fountain in the back and lying in the hammock was so relaxing I didn’t want to leave.

I truly can’t think of anything!

This is one of the nicest hostels I stayed in Costa Rica wish I would've stayed here when I arrived,the staff is nice,the hostel is clean it even has towels and soap in the bathroom,it's close to the airport

incredible place to stay far above hostel offerings! immaculate clean, familial cosy place, great hospitality, fresh opulent breakfast, save gated area - just to name a few aspects. in reality even nicer than the pictures suggest. honestly save the time looking for a place to stay around San Jose and just book it. thank you all guys - keep up and special hug to the good soul lady of the kitchen
