Excellent hotel, clean, fresh decorated and comfortable.

The rooms were very recently refurbished and were very clean and simply, but tastefully decorated. The beds were extremely comfortable and my colleague and I slept really well. The staff were polite, friendly and professional and the building is beautiful.

Its a shame the kitchen is being renovated, so we had to find breakfast, but this is merely a temporary inconvenience.

Perfect location and comfy beds

Absolutely perfect sized room for 1 on the 2nd floor and a lovely view to the outside as well. Very comfortable bed, great shower and just a lovely little room

Only thing was no curtains but a blind instead which sadly didn't block out full light when the sun rises at 5am

Booking through booking.com - I needed to check in later and was not aware that if you book on here you can not check in after midnight but if you ring the hotel you can luckily I was allowed to stay!

Excellent hotel, friendly staff, comfortable and excellent value

Location, Staff, Rooms are fabulous, good size car park. Although no facilities for food and drink within the hotel, you do have a fridge in the room which is super helpful. Oh and they do supply with in the room teas and coffee. Would definitely stay again.

Maybe the fact you couldn't get a drink within the hotel.. maybe just a small bar and area? but there's a choice of many near by, so that would put me off staying again.

For the Emperor (Warhammer World)

Spacious room, very comfy, shower was great. The large windows have a great view towards the city.

An option for 3 beds in the room would have made this a 10. There was only one chair in the room that was very limiting.

Overall we had a good stay at the hotel

Breakfast was not available at the time we stayed but we knew that already so wasn't a problem,the reception staff were very friendly and helpful,our room was small but very cosy and the bathroom was excellent

The only downside was that on our arrival there were 4 youths outside smoking weed,it didn't bother us too much but could be very unwelcoming to other guests

Really friendly staff in a good location. Nicely fitted room and very clean. Overall I felt very good value for money.

Stayed at the top of the hotel so the wifi was weak. It didn't matter much to me only staying the one night but they might just want to consider boosting the signal for those top rooms.

Great value hotel

Nice hotel, clean, friendly staff, great shower! And in an excellent location, £5 in an uber to the City Centre or a short walk to the nearest tram stop! Will definitely stay again.

The bed was quite hard so not the most comfortable nights sleep!

The room was clean, and the bed was comfortable. The hotel is being refurbished, staff were helpful in suggesting options for dinner at local restaurants. Plenty of parking available in the grounds of the hotel.

I’m a regular at this hotel and I must say it’s such a great hotel the facilities are literally perfection always so clean and comfortable and the staff are always so friendly and accommodating really kind people! I would highly recommend this stay

generally a great stay

it’s a beautiful Victorian house that converted into a modern hotel, room is spacious and just like the pictures showed. The location is great and no far from the city centre. shower is good and clean, water pressure is normal despite there was some renovation still going on in some of the rooms. got modern smart TV as well, so you can log on to your favourite streaming services.

As mentioned the hotel is still undergoing some renovations, so you can hear a tiny bit of the noise in the day time. but it didn’t really impact the quality of my rest

Very good

Very quiet, large room which has clearly recently been renovated and decorated. It still smelled of fresh paint. Easy to check in and lots of car parking spaces. Good location with easy transport links into the city centre. Staff friendly at check-in and out.

Not a big issue at all but the fan in the bathroom is very loud and does not turn off for a while after use.
