Good value, friendly and relaxed owner, clear instructions, nice gesture leaving wine. An unusual and indeed quirky cottage so interesting and homely. All different aged and all love it .

Place quirky, never sure what you would find next.Place very clean, water hot when the heating switched on.A full working kitchen with all the utensils needed.Beds very comfortable and warm.
The hosts could not do enough to ensure a happy stay, even contacting a near by friend to get theT.V. Working( just needed new batteries in the hand set)The garden great to sit in when the sun shone.
Pub five minutes with good food.
Having to travel for groceries and petrol.
The cottage is on a double bend so care needed when entering or leaving. There were traffic lights while we were there and disconcerting to have lorry drivers looking in when having breakfast.
The stairs steep to the bedrooms.

Old, very quirky and full of character. Large well equipped kitchen. Lovely large garden. Good pub 2 mins walk. Short drive to local towns. We loved our stay in this beautiful old cottage.
Nothing to dislike.

Spacious, comfortable cottage with nice oak beams, fireplaces, and gardens

It's a beautiful cottage, which is comfortable and well-equipped. We enjoyed discovering the rooms! The carton of milk and bottle of wine were an extra special touch.

Nice 1700 cottage, quaint and quirky. Lovely area beside Grafham water. Jill was very attentive to our requirements.

Staying in a 1700 thatched cottage was amazing and a real experience. Full of character and artifacts from foreign parts! Very comfy beds.
Everything was fine, although steep, narrow staircase as you might expect.

The house itself and the interior are just amazing - outside like an English cottage as you see them on TV; inside a mixture of African and other accessories that made this place fun to stay in. You could feel the love that went into furnishing it and tending to it. I went there with my dog and he appreciated the walks on our doorstep.

Lovely cottage in a super location close to Grafham water. Very spacious with all the home comforts. Such a beautiful large garden. We took our dog and we were pleasantly surprised to find they had a dog bowl, as we had forgotten to bring ours. Great communication beforehand with Jill the owner, and she also left us a bottle of wine, which was a lovely touch. Looking forward to booking again
