Good location, got all the things you need in the place. Lovely bathroom, spacious enough. Everything works fine, nothing is damaged, all good quality things.
Can not really think of anything. - Parking was a bit tight, however I had a big saloon, so it does make sense. Do have to be careful coming uphill towards the cottage at night as roads are very narrow, however it seems no one in the past had an issue, and I’d visit again for sure.

i liked leaving
Horrible host made us clean up ourselves because his cleaner couldn't get up the icy hill which he never warned me about. Then lied on arrival saying he couldn't get in touch with us to let us know his cleaner wasn't around while he was out of the country eventhoigh we spoke a few hours prior and he knew i was coming from glasgow so would be tired on arrival. Sort of weak male who takes advantage of the weak more passive people. Disgusting state of sheets in the laundry room to clean up, shocking attitude towards myself and my partner, very weird site, shocking heating system with just 1 radiator that turns on and off so the room gets freezing, it's not even a bungalow, all the postive reviews are FAKE and simply a holiday from hell experience here.

the location is so lovely and peaceful. the cottage itself was very clean and comfortable with everything you needed for a short stay.
the only problem we found were two sets of very noisy upstairs guests but that’s not the fault of the owners.

The views were stunning and very comfortable with all the facilities we needed for our stay
everything was great with the accommodation just a shame the local restaurant and pubs close very early in July, high season, so you need to go fully prepared for stocks at the accommodation to cook.

The views from this hidden gem are stunning, looking out over Wastwater and seeing the hills beyond at sunset is a special sight. Really friendly host, comfortable well appointed accommodation and perfect location for exploring Wasdale.

i liked the set up, the space, my 2 kids were very happy
The roads are from the ancient times, risky at night, some drivers do not know what a passing place is

I have been to the Lake District many a time and stayed in different accommodations, but this was far the best I have stayed in. It was clean, tidy fresh and the views were amazing. Will definitely stay again and longer. It would be nice if there had been some milk for when we got there. But overall it was brilliant.

The instructions before arrival were perfect. Easy to access the property and the views are amazing. Very clean, very comfortable, with spacious bathroom with great hot water and brilliant shower. Just what you need after a hike up Scafell Pike.

The property was fantastic. Clean, modern, spacious just enough for me and my two teenage children. The bathroom was incredible.
The only thing I would say is you can hear every detail from the property above footsteps so after climbing scafell and wanting to chill in bed it was difficult as we could hear pretty much everything going on upstairs but this isn’t down to the owner.

The location was amazing and the cottage we stayed in was beautiful. Such a shame we arrived in the dark and had to leave so soon. Would definitely stay here again.

Comfortable beds, hot water, great shower, all needed after a day of walking.
Well equipped and stocked with basics and complimentary extras.
Stunning views.
Tricky road to get to the accommodation.
Noisy upstairs, unsure if this was structural or noisy people

Amazing location, easy directions to access property. Lovely room and facilities.
Room was quite cold and when we arrived the radiator had been turned off. The room did warm up a bit once this was turned up but would recommend taking some slippers as floor is cold.

nothing. I honestly have never been made to feel so unwanted and I welcomed in my life.
the rules. from the second you walk in there are rules posted all over the shop, don’t turn the heating on as it is expensive due to the rising cost of oil. the note said it was set to 23 degrees but when we entered the only radiator was set to 0 and even when we did turn it on it didn’t heat up for 1 hour. then overnight they must have set it to go off from around 10pm to 6am it was icy cold. next rule? don’t smoke indoors.. very standard request which we both respected. (by smoking outdoors and very carefully disposing of the ends by running them under the tap )next to the door) to ensure they were out, before storing in a packet and putting them in the bin before we left. Rule 3.. you’re not allowed to flush absolutely anything down the toilet in case you ruin the community disposal system. good luck to anyone with endo or chrones such as myself, no further explanation necessary !
rule 4.. you MUST split your rubbish from your recycling… yet there is only one cheap plastic bin to chuck everything into. last but not least. DONT COOK IN THE ROOM! regardless of the fact it has a hun, sink and dishwasher, we ran out of time to clean up the morning we left as we had a sausage sandwich the night before. that was a hugeeeeee problem apparently. we received a message of complaint from booking.com stating that the owner had been in touch very angry and demanding compensation.. so we called him directly to ask for what? he called us every name under the sun, labelled us a “filthy pair” and proceeded to attack our nationality as well as our hygiene and character. an absolutely overpriced standard of a room, rude hosts and took us over 1 hour to find the place in the mud and grass, after asking 3 neighbours within 2 miles of the property. if anyone would like additional info I have pictures of how we arrived as well as the condition that we left the property in. if you are looking for R&R, avoid at ALL costs.

Magnificent views. Really glad i came.
Found the final road to the farm very difficult. Was scared and could not have reversed if needed. Disappointing this was not made clear.
Very noisy people above me.
