Wife loves the hotel. Stay was great and staff went above and beyond to make sure we did. Only concern was the uneven flooring of our room. Room 322. Please take a look at. Will visit again

Clean, charming, location on Savannah's river walk was perfect, in-house dining was superior. Definitely a return stay next visit to Savannah

Amazing stay would recommend for anyone

We really loved the hotel once we found it. We arrived after dark and the hotel sits behind a row of trees. The hotel's history is evident through the decor and furnishings.
2.5
Very nice place right in the middle of River St. Couples weekend for my wife and I and we will stay here again.
1.5
Poor water pressure, dirty shower head/fixture, small cheap feeling bath towels.
For the price charged, they are missing key details for a quality stay.
Location & friendly staff is the only thing this place has going for it.

It’s nice and covenant but could use some updates. Checking in wasn’t great.. we had to change rooms the next day. Waitress at restaurant wasn’t too friendly.

River Street Inn is a charming converted cotton warehouse located in historic Savannah. A lot of good restaurants within walking distance. Conveniently located for historic tours as well.
2.0
The double french doors with the artificial light shining in need curtains. The blinds alone do not mask the brightness. There was quite a bit of noise outside both nights as well. The hotel was conveniently located and charming.

Beautiful repurposing of a historic building located right on the river. Perfect location! Outstanding service!

This was our second stop on our honeymoon road trip and it was amazing. All the staff, valets and adjoining restaurant staff were very kind and helpful. Would recommend the Riverside Inn to anyone

Beware: hotels.com charges a $32/night resort fee on this property. However, the hotel itself also charged me a second $30/night destination fee.
This is deceptive and unfair.
Hotels.com couldn't explain why it charged 32% in fees when the tax rate on Hotels is 7 or 8%.
And the hotel had no visibility into what Hotels.com charged in the taxes and fees section of the receipt.
All in, it's a nice enough hotel, but this was an unfortunate and unfair policy.

We definitely enjoyed our stay. Only issue i have with the hotel is that my truck was to big for valet parking. Luckily the valets were GREAT, and squared me away. We really enjoyed the daily managers meet and greet, but we never met the manager. Overall we will most definitely be back. Next time for a week.

The staff person who checked me in was so friendly and polite. The hotel is beautiful inside with great views. It’s convenient to River Street and most of downtown.
My only complaint is the cleaning in the bathroom was subpar. The shower floor still appeared to be dirty and the corners in the bathrooms were not clean.
2.5
Neat old hotel with lots of upgrades/updates. Remember that floor 4 is street level and floor 1 is river level.
Easy check in/out and everyone was friendly. Food at Broken Keel was good, server had an off day and was a bit grouchy, but fine.
Location was great. Trolly tour picks you up just down the street.

Highly recommend!

Location was wonderful the staff was so nice fantastic place to stay with definitely recommend to family and friends cannot say enough good things about this hotel first time in Savannah definitely will be back, The valet come and greet less as soon as we pulled up was absolutely awesome his name was Bryce he and the rest the staff was absolutely wonderful

Room was a little dusty and sticky, but with an older building and high humidity to be expected. You could feel the history in the brick walls. Only disappointment was the valet service.

The hotel was nice if you are into historic properties. I was very upset at check in when I was told that I was being charged a $30 PER DAY fee to stay on the property. I was not aware of any fees prior to booking this hotel Very disappointed in Expedia as well as the hotel.

Overlooking the river was nice and the proximity to all the walking venues was nice as well.

They have done a nice job with this historic building. Winged Keel restaurant is a little dark in the interior and a little long in the tooth. Breakfast was ok. Nighttime entertainment on the outdoor deck. Our room was nice, but at street level and facing the city, it was a little loud at times during the night. Staff was friendly. The manager’s reception with complimentary drinks and d'oeuvres was nice. $10/day towards the two restaurants was a nice touch. The hotel is situated in an ideal spot for those looking to explore Savannah by foot.

The place was lovely, but my room had a bit of an odd smell, nothing that couldn't be ignored. What was unfortunate, and not the property's fault, was that the city was dredging the river literally right outside our windows and the noise was like setting up next to a jackhammer festival. What's more, it didn't stop, it went most all night long so that was a serious bummer. PLUS, somewhere between Hotels.com and the hotel my rates and booking are all messed up and I ended up being charged about $250 more than I had anticipated and now I'm going to have to spend post-vacation time trying to figure that out. I'm not quite sure who to be irritated with about that. From what I could tell standing in line waiting to check in, MULTIPLE people were having billing issues all via 3rd party reservations. While not the property's fault necessarily, these things tend to sour what should be a luxurious and relaxing stay so I probably wouldn't return.

Location was good but the hotel is damp and noisy.
I would not choose it again.

We loved our stay at the River Street Inn. The location is perfect along the river and you can walk to almost everything. The staff was amazing - so happy and hospitable! Would definitely stay here again.

Everything was exceptional until the last day. We were locked out of the room because both room keys no longer worked. We had the room until checkout which was 11am but the key stopped working at 7am.

The staff was exceptional, very accommodating to meet our needs and make our stay very enjoyable.

Room fridge had garbage in it. Stayed 3 nites. Housekeeping was poor. Besides fridge never being cleaned, paper on floor remained, drinking cups & linen not replaced. Tables left filthy. However, they made a nice bed...

“The room was perfect with a river view, and it was close to dining and entertainment. The staff was also very friendly.”

It’s a beautiful building-
One of the oldest in the city and it’s quiet with a terrific location. But I was supposed to have VIP access and didn’t receive any benefits. The desk said they were giving me a wonderful room with a beautiful view- there was no view, just of the street. No blackout shades and no toiletries. This was fine for one night for what I paid but just a somewhat gussied

We had no hot water for 2 of 3 nights…and we had to shower in another room 2 floors above ours for 2 days. They moved us to another room on 3rd day…and they only reduced our bill by the occupancy tax. $430 per night for a room without a shower. Years of travel and 3rd time at this hotel …this was the worst because they didn’t care.

My stay was amazing and exactly the type of atmosphere I was looking for. The walls are thin so you’ll hear everything but it didn’t bother me at all. The location of this hotel is perfect making it easy to get around to food, drinks, music, and other activities. I think my favorite part was looking out the window and watching the ships pass by.

I feel that the reception gathering wasn't good at all. The food could have been alot better. No meat at all!!!
Our bed bolts were loose
Everytime we turned the bed squeezed and rocked

The hotel was decorated beautifully! It's in a great location, in walking distance to great restaurants, shopping, attractions, etc. The staff was friendly and accommodating. I would definitely stay here again.
