The room was nice and good size
I arrived late but told them I'd be late. Upon arriving in my room the carpet was soaking wet. I got moved to another room however the bath had rusted, the part that kept the shower head in place was broken so ended up cutting myself, the tv remote was broken. Also throughout the time I've stayed at this hotel it always stinks of cannabis. Also on check out I stood at reception to talk to someone yet nobody came. The minute I put my room card in the tub for checking out the woman who I didn't recognise who was standing just behind me on the breakfast part then decided to say thank you despite watching me at reception. It was almost like she didn't want to talk to me.

The hotel was good and value for money. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and adequate for me being single. All the food was good and fresh. The rooms and bed are not made or refreshed each day as a matter of course, it seems you have to hang a sign outside to do this. First hotel I have stayed in that do not make your rooms up daily without being prompted too !!!
The hotel is situated on a business Park and entering the area on the Great Western Road the hotel should be more effectively signposted with larger signs. It is easily missed. With the evening meal I sat in the Restaurant for 10/15 minutes waiting for the Menu and Waitress until I was told to go to the bar to order. There was no sign on entry to the area to inform you of this. Be aware of this when you visit.

Breakfast was okay
The plates were not up to the standard. They were not cleaned well

Location was good for purpose of visit. Allowed a later check in as early check in was not available. Free car parking.
Photos were very misleading. Poor light in the rooms. The bathroom was almost prison like - very very basic. Breakfast was expensive and low quality. Only 1 spare pillow for a double room. While it was clean the room felt very worn out. Kettle/hot drink facilities again were old and the coffee sachets were rock solid, the once white kettle now yellow. Out of 4 rooms only 1 key card worked on check in, while this was fixed fairly quickly, 1 of the rooms had an awful smell. While it seemed like a good price at the time of booking, if the photos had shown what it was actually like I wouldn’t have stayed here. Felt mislead by the early check in, called up the day before to check if we could check in early and was told “if the rooms were available we could” showed up for early check in and was told no rooms were available as it was a full house night before - but as we called the day before, it perhaps would’ve been worth telling us that it was a full house and unlikely we could do this. It wasn’t the end of the world but just felt a bit annoying as it could’ve been avoided. Also tried calling the hotel multiple times in the week leading up to stay with no answer.

The receptionist. I think her name was Lorna. Very understanding and respectful.
The bathroom was dirty. After waking up had lumps from being bitten by something overnight.

Nothing really, the location was great for what I needed however everything else was a disappointment
The room was dreadful. The water was cold from the shower, the lights in the bathroom didn’t work and the hairdryer was broken. The room stank of cigarette smoke even though it was a no smoking room. Only one member of staff made me feel welcome the rest were more interested in vaping outside.

The bed, heating, Wi-Fi, tea and coffee, bathroom and cleanliness
Weird sounds coming from other rooms. House keeping knocked on the door even with do not disturb sign on door, window didn’t shut properly and loud drilling sounds in other room at 10am on the day I left.

Easy to access and at a very reasonable price.
Staff were friendly and it was quick to check-in and check-out.
Evening meal was very good and also at a very reasonable price - £20 for steak and chips with a glass of wine.
It was a bit shabby in places, notably the bedroom corridors and carpets. But it was clean in the room.

Staff was friendly.
The room was very hot, dirty floors, the bathroom had damp on the walls and the whole room gave me hospital vibes. There were flies and bees in my room, things crawling on the bed.

The hotel met was required. The room was basic as was reflected in the price. It was warm, the bed was clean, and the linen smelt clean. Sadly, you only got one pillow, which was not very substantial. The main fault was the carpet. There is no other way to describe it. It was filthy. It's such a shame as it spoilt the whole room.
Dirty carpet, toilet flush which for some reason did not work between 1200 and 7.30am. Pillows.which were inadequate.

Stains in places, very budget, dirt in bottom of bath, bed was not very comfy could feel springs, but it was ok for one night and it was cheap so not bothered.

Stayed two nights at this hotel to visit friends on my journey from Spain to UK. Located on a business park so had to look around to find it, hotel sign posted once you where in. Good facilities, staff very friendly, room very comfortable. Good breakfast.
Overall had no problem

Location was good, quiet area, close to KFC and Sainsbury's for me which was just right
It was not clear to me if the restaurant was working or closed; it didn't seem anything was going on there few times I went downstairs hoping to get food

The neatness of the hotel, near to shops and attractions. The breakfast was very good - full English , the staff were approachable and had good customer service too.
I don't have anything that I do not like. I am very happy with everything.

It was a warm and clean room with a decent shower. Pretty quiet and served our needs well.
It was a bit basic and cheapy feeling at first but actually it was fine.

Pleasant staff. Adequate free parking.
Uncomfortable bed.

Clean tidy rooms. Breakfast staff were very friendly
Restaurant in the evening. Not enough staff as there was a large group in. Kitchen staff, possibly the chef was swearing at a young waitress using the f word quite a few times. I and other guests could hear everything
6.0
Clean, welcoming basic hotel. Great if you have a dog. Rooms were small so not ideal for large dogs. Clean rooms but well worn.
Quiet at night.
KFC 2 mins away and small retail park a few minutes drive away.
Bed was so uncomfortable. Need new mattresses! Only one bath towel in the bathroom, for a twin room and no hand towel.
First room none of the lights worked so we had to change rooms as no one was available to fix them.
Also informed upon arrival, the restaurant and bar were closed until the end of the week as they had "an issue".
9.0
Friendliness of staff and how they helped accommodate us and our canine companion. How staff let us remain in our same room for the two nights stay despite 2 different bookings
Being told no space for second night at reception, then finding booking.com had them
