An absolutely perfect stay. The staff was so friendly and helpful. The location couldn’t have been better, and the room was terrific.
The beds, blankets, and pillows are vwry comfortable.
The water gets HOT on demand, which was so nice for a winter trip.
So close to so many great bars and restaurants, including the ones RIGHT next door.
I would book this place again, hands down

Room well presented but small. Bathroom clean. Damp patch on carpet outside bathroom. Noisy as could hear kitchen near room. Didn't eat in restaurant as breakfast too expensive and no menu in room or online.

Stayed only 1 night, 5 people in 3 rooms. The hotel is showing it’s age. From the outside they have tried to make it look nice with floral arrangements but it located in a group of row houses with a very noisy bar next door that kept us op until 12:30 am. To its credit it is close to the Museum which is excellent. They use a card key lock on the door leading from the front desk which makes it very difficult to get your luggage through and there are a maddening number of very difficult to open fire doors. There are probably better choices in Glasgow. Would not stay here again. All 5 of us agreed. PS Parking in back of hotel is through a narrow dirt alleyway.

Loved the accommodations and the staff were so friendly. Parking could be an issue if you are driving.

Charming exterior. Arrived late-ish; wanted a good warm shower, decent nearby meal and easy access to the airport. About a 10 minute drive from the rail station in Glasgow. Room was tiny and the bathroom, though clean, was disappointing. Water temperature all over the place, no plug for a bath unless I called down, felt treacherous getting out of the shower due to one of those half-glass ‘shower curtains, wet floor, high tub and nothing to hang onto. Neighbourhood fine if looking for a pub meal or take-out. Comfortable bed, good sleep. Set fare to the airport or 33 pounds. Seemed a bit high.

Front desk staff courteous. Decor seemed a bit dated. The beds were extremely uncomfortable and short in length. Old spring mattresses. Several times throughout the night I woke up to find myself sliding or tilting towards to the floor and would have to scoot back up onto the bed. Clean bathroom.

Perfect location in Westend; Property is a little dated, but overall very nice for the rate charged.

Had a great stay, just passing by town. Had a great experience with the staff except for this one person in the reception that was rude, looking in his phone the entire time, ignoring guests and myself. Barely got an answer out of him just asking a question about parking. Overall - except for him - the stay was great. Comfy bed, the other people in the staff were lovely, nice location.

Nice hotel in the west end. Close to restaurants, pubs, a few minutes from Kelvingrove art gallery.
Staff was friendly.

Found a used plaster in the bed which indicated that the bedding had not been changed. There is no way it could have been there if they had changed the bedding. When we checked out, they just said they would investigate it and get back to me. Not had a response yet.

Man at front desk was awfully rude. But the staff Emma was fantastic. No hot water for shower. Basic but nice room.

Nice hotel. Area isnt pretty but it was safe enough and convenient for financial services workers

I had a small, single room downstairs in the property. The shower room/wc was a bit of a tight fit for me as a tall person but it was sparklingly clean and had an excellent shower. Good tv and comfortable bed warm and quiet. Nice lighting. The room looked smart with its bright tartan cushions and matching blind and matching bed dressing but it was a bit too much. When everything was taken off the bed, the room seemed full of it - style over function!
Overall though, a comfortable stop and very good value for money. Splendid location if you're there as a tourist.

Good value, close to Kelvingrove Art Museum relatively close to Kelvinhall Subway.
Breakfast expensive and had to walk to Partick Interchange to get a fried breakfast before 08:00.

The staff was helpful. The area was walkable for eating and shopping. Parking was a little difficult. And the room was too warm and the window opened very little to help create a draft or cool the room at all.

The hotel is very handy for my needs. The Canadian lady on reception polite and very helpful. The room I chose was a single room. A compact and clean room. Unfortunately, it was nestled between the main toilets, the kitchen and a cleaning room. I was kept awake until midnight with flushing loos. Then, 5am it began again, 6am and then the morning shift for the kitchen at 7am. The loo flushing, banging of multiple fire doors, kitchen bustle and what could only be described as bucket filling and mop spinning was constant. A total of 5 hours sleep left me very unrested.
I spoke with the young man on reception who informed me 'You had booked the only single room in the hotel and that was reflected in the price'. (I paid £63). 'The double rooms are £100'.
He was most unapologetic!!!
So the fact I am a single traveller, paying for a single room means I should put up with being squashed between toilets and the kitchen!
Most unimpressed!

Liked everything but thought the breakfast was very expensive.

Reception staff was more interested in continuing his personal telephone conversation than dealing with customers. £20 per person for breakfast is extortionate even though our booking confirmation stated £15. No glasses in the room had to go down to the bar for a glass. Our room overlooked the rear of the hotel it was really noisy.
The area around the hotel is nice with lots of bars and restaurants.

Great location in the west end, close to parks and museums.
Super buffet breakfast too!
Friendly, helpful staff.
My first visit to Glasgow, I hope to return (perhaps to use my tickets for the cancelled Stevie Nicks concert!), when I do I will try to stay at the Argyll Hotel.

Emma the receptionist is exceptional and lovely. Spoke with us and gave good recommendations. The other receptionist in the morning who is a Man is not so accommodating. Look at my sister and I in a "racist" manner and make us feel very uncomfortable. The room is spacious and warm. Lovely stay I hope reception would learn as good as Emma. Thank you.

Room was clean but slight old/musty smell.
Bathroom was clean.
Unfortunately as we were leaving we found some woman’s underwear just under the mattress.
Check in staff lovely and friendly, check out staff not so friendly.

Reception staff was lovely and the bed was so comfy

The room was very attractive to look upon as we walked in, and while the parking lot was full and stayed full, we were able to get parking on the side street. We were not given the opportunity to purchase breakfast when we made our reservation, and while it is advertised at GBP 10/person, we were told that it would be GBP 15/person. We loved the hot water and the first night was quiet. We loved the little pub next door and because the first night was quiet, it didn't occur to us that our room was situated in a bad location of the hotel.
Now, for the beds: very uncomfortable and hard. Not a good night's sleep. This was compounded by the second night when the noise from the pub permeated the room until all after midnight. In trying to determine that the noise was not coming from upstairs, my husband walked to the second floor and was smacked with a hallway full of cigarette smoke.
So, would we recommend this hotel or stay here again: an emphatic NO!
