No table or desk for eating. Mattress was uncomfortable this time

I booked this hotel for my father, upon arrival the clerk refused him a room and also refused to refund the charges

I stayed here for the night to attend a conference at the Essex tech school. The location was perfect for where I needed to be in the morning- just 1 mile away. Reasonable price, easy friendly check in process. Rooms are a lttle run down and need some attention, cosmetic stuff. But relatively clean. Bed was pretty comfortable, shower had good water pressure and shampoo conditioner and soap in dispensers on the tub wall. TV worked well. I had a virtual meeting that night and wifi was good. Some other guests around me were up late (after midnight) and making noise, which wasn't ideal as it sounded like they were right outside my room. I think they had some breakfast items and coffee for free in the am, which I didn't take advantage of because there was breakfast at the conference. Grounds seemed pretty well kept. OK place to stay, and I was happy not to deal with traffic getting to conference that morning from where I live.

Staff was courteous and helpful. Check in/out was easy. For a building of it's age it was in good repair and well maintained. However, to say my mattress was uncomfortable is an understatement. When I sat on it it appeared thick, but was the most flimsy thing I've slept on short of a cheap pull-out couch. Rooms were fairly sound proof from neighbors. Took an Uber there, but there seemed to be ample parking. Continental breakfast was offered and looked well stocked but I opted not to eat. Would consider it again if it were not for the bed.

Perfect for Little trip at Salem!

It was a great stay except for my shower that needs repaired and I didn’t get my $50
Deposit back yet which is very upsetting

You can hear everything from surrounding rooms. The bed is very hard and sheets felt like shower curtains. Overall, this was a terrible experience and did not sleep a wink.

I never stayed there! My credit card last 3 digits were refused but I still got charged $164.27 on my credit card. I immediately called the hotel but the ride woman refused to credit my money back.

The room was clean but so warn out looking, poor light fixtures, furniture needed fixing up, where they served breakfast, paint job only half done, coffee wasn’t working, no plain bagels, no butter

The place was nice, only bad thing I can say was the room above us had heavy feet walking around and were loud

It was like a dirty motel

Hotel room smelled like old smoke, furniture is very worn, bathroom in poor condition

It was quiet and convenient for our trip to Salem and private. Everything is near by. If I was to critique anything about it was that I would’ve liked towels replaced daily without having to ask front desk to do it. It should be automatic.

The staff was warm and friendly. The accommodations were nice. I enjoyed my stay.

We were on bottom floor and the people above us we could hear them walking back and forth. Room was clean and smelled good. The Continental breakfast could use some work. Didn’t like just sweets. Over all I would stay here again.

Place was nice. Clean for the most part. Needed some maintenance. Bed and pillows were great. For the money I have no complaints.

This place is extremely hard to find! It is tucked behind another building, and Google maps takes you round and round a clover leaf. They did not answer the phone to get better directions when we called several times. Bed was comfortable. Room was adequate for the price.

My stay was for a wedding at the Endicotts Events site. I was on a budget and while this was not the cheapest accomadation I could have booked, it had plenty of good reviews.
For a 2* hotel it lived up to my expectations, the staff were friendly and the room was clean. The fittings were a little worse for wear though. Just a couple I noticed were the towel rail was hanging off, and the bath tap was hanging off. Despite this all of the features worked and to be honest it didn't really bother me.
Parking is free and others in the same party had issues with parking as it was nearer to the wedding location. I felt smug knowing I was able to park directly outside my door and it cost me no more to be there. It was also a quiet location and you can't hear road noise.
Location is only 15 minutes from Salem and for the price it was worth it. My room cost under half of some of the party closer to town, and I honestly had no bad experiences.
You pay for what you get, and I was warm, had a comfy bed, had a lovely warm shower and had microwave and fridge in the room.
I wish these guys could get the finer bits down and have a maintainance person to fix the room so it would be rated more 3* instead.
All in all, I would stay here again, I saved money and I wasn't on the streets.

I was not impressed with this hotel (with a giant motel sign out front… so is it even classified as a hotel?) at all. My room was dirty upon arrival with grime in every corner. Particularly the bathroom. There was mold and grime along all the tiles and the shower head was filthy like it’s never been disinfected. The sink was covered in rust and gunk too. The fridge had so many dings, dents, rust, and was covered in ice on from the freezer on the inside. The bed had crumbs or dirt(?) in it when I went to sleep upon arrival, and everything just felt unclean.
Additionally, I felt unsafe in the parking lot and the area of this place as well... I would not return.

Good room for our puppy.

Staff was polite, and the room was clean. However, the floor was buckled, the sink was cracked, the tub had mildew, and the door didn’t seal completely. Sound carried, so when I got out of bed at night, it woke the dog in the room below mine, who I’d already heard barking during the day. I found a large beetle on the wall on my second day, probably got in through the crack around the door (which was wide enough to let light in.) Overall a safe place to crash, but not much else. It’s difficult to find in the dark, as it’s set off the road and down a hill. You have to drive through an abandoned parking lot for another business to get there. Follow the purple “motel” arrows.

We booked one night at Knights Inn but let left within 30 minutes. My wife, whose asthma has been under control and not medicated for over a year, had an asthma attack as a result of the cleaning product used in our room's bathroom. Additionally, the pictures at the hotel did not match the reality. The actual Inn is far more seedy than the pictures would let on. Will not stay here again!

Its a good little hotel if you are going to be out and about boston or salem.
Its a little tricky to get to because its hidden off the highway.
Its close to amneties and restaurants (driving)
Rooms are not really modern but it was ok.
The rooms were clean and spacious.
Decent price if you are going to use the hotel to just keep your luggage and sleep.

Quick stay to move son into college. This is an older property but it is kept in really good condition. The property is off the road and its setting is very quiet and safe. If you are looking for a clean, decent, no frills place to stay that is in a good location and feels safe, I would recommend this place. Although it is older, they have painted, keep the floors nice, rooms updated, etc. A continental breakfast is offered. Front desk service is very friendly. This location is close to Salem about 15 min drive and about a 20-25 min drive into Boston depending on traffic. I would stay here again.

Liked the size of the room, but it was dirty, out dated, mold in the bathtub. The walls were dirty, needs to be painted and the sink was cranked.
