We were in the area for my daughter’s wedding. This was a great place to stay for the family. Lots of hidden gems in the house. Just looking at the decor was an experience. The kitchen was fully stocked with great kitchen gadgets.

My family and I spent three nights at Kuan's home, and it was lovely! Kuan prepared the property early for us, provided clear and timely instructions for check-in and check-out, and provided a basket of snacks and a complimentary bottle of wine. The indoor/outdoor spaces were great for hosting up to 7 adults! We were also just minutes from Salem. Highly recommend this VRBO rental to anyone who is looking to stay north of Boston.

We were in town with family as our son was running the Boston marathon. It was a great place for us to cook, hang out, quiet and comfy nights sleep and fun for our 3 year old grandson to watch the fish, play on the swing set and explore the property. Kuan was very attentive and thought of all the extras to make our stay easy and comfortable! Thanks!

We could not be more pleased with our stay. The house was larger than we expected and there was plenty of areas to spread out . Our son, his wife and new baby took the upstairs rooms and we stayed down stairs . The beds were perfect.Cozy and warm with fluffy blankets and spreads. The temperature of the house was perfect. The kitchen was fully stocked. There was a closet full of the latest electrical appliances -Blender, rice cooker ,crock pot etc. the home was Wonderful and clean with a great dishwasher . There were several sets of plates, bowls , silverware, pots, pans etc.A fully stocked coffee maker . We cooked and also ordered in. The formal dining room could seat 8-10. We ate there several times. We enjoyed the living room at night watching Netflix together and also having my 92 year old mother (who lives 1 mile away )and my sister over to visit with us and most importantly the baby ( mom is great grandmother and was thrilled) The yard is large and neat. Every thing was spotless and beautiful with a lot of interesting art and wood carved furniture. OH THE PIANO!! That was a perk that i played for hours. We were comfortable and had all we needed for the best visit to Danvers. The host was kind and accessible . He was obviously an experienced Super Host because there was nothing we needed to ask for or about. He had a book in kitchen explaining everything and listing things to do and places to eat. We recommend this VRBO. We will stay here the next time we visit Danvers.

The house is warm, very clean, spacious with accommodating 8 people comfortably, welcoming and just as the pictures depicted. The owner is very attentive and communication was very easy. We got a welcome card and bottle of wine on arrival and everything in the house was ready for our convenience. We even use the manual's suggestions for local breakfast place and pizza place and we were very satisfied, especially with Nick and Andy's breakfast . My family from Europe stated "the best waffles we ever ate". House is 20 min drive from Boston, and even closer to Salem, we would definitely return.

Super lovely home, very well maintained. Check in and out was super easy. The host is very responsive and left a lovely note, flowers, wine and snacks for us to have when we got there. Kuan is a devoted host, very kind and very proud of his house.
The communication with him was just great even though we never met.
He welcomes you with a written and neat presentation of the property; a brief history, his family, all instructions as well as the good restaurants to discover in Danvers.
A splendid house with a traditional New England colonial style.
And what about its magnificent backyard, all lit up once night falls.
We had a too short stay but we enjoyed every moment.
Thank you very much Kuan for sharing your beautiful home.

My best friend and I rented this house as part of our girls' trip. The host, Kuan, was very friendly and quick to respond to any communication we had. We felt very welcome and the house was absolutely beautiful. It was clean and comfy and a great place to come back to after busy days exploring Salem and the surrounding area. The property is beautiful and well maintained. I highly recommend staying here. We hope to stay here again on a future trip!

Everything about this house was great- the location, the amenities, the owners, everything. I almost don’t want to give it a good review so we can keep this gem a secret. The house is stunning, the gardens are immaculate and the hospitality is top notch. Plus you’re close to rte 1, 128 and 114.

Kuan was an excellent host. He was very responsive and the home had all the amenities you could ask for. It was very clean and comfortable. The listing was as shown. Our 4 year old loved the backyard and I loved that the Samuel Parris site was literally behind the property. We would stay here again.

My family had a lovely stay when we came to visit extended family in the area. The children (19 months, 3.5 & 5) LOVED the garden, plenty of space to run and play. Inside there was also plenty of space and furnishings were high quality. The kitchen was the best equipped I've ever experienced at a rental property. Kuan was extremely hospitable, the snacks he left were greatly appreciated and he reached out to us soon after arrival to check in. Overall this is the best rental experience we've ever had!

We were traveling up from DC to visit my aging parents, and our lodging plans changed a week before the trip. It was a blessing in disguise to have now found this home as an alternative for larger groups on future visits home. I’ve already told my siblings (who also have two kids) about it so that when we all go home together we’ll know where to book! The location is super easy to access directly 3 minutes from Route 1 and is easy access to 114.
I’ll begin by saying Kuan was a marvelous host. All of the communication was prompt and efficient, never leaving any questions unanswered. When he had to visit the house, to put the garbage out to the curb and to shovel the walkways (which was unexpected and appreciated) when we got four inches of snow overnight, he let us know to expect him and was unobtrusive.
The house was extremely well equipped, with comfortable and attractive furniture, but most importantly with all of the kitchen needs in terms of small appliances and pantry items. There were snacks for the kids, water, seltzers, coffee and tea for the adults, and oils and spices for cooking in house, which we love to do as a family.
Internet service was sufficient for streaming on multiple devices concurrently and there are four large TVs for any movie watching, and there’s a piano too. The backyard is the best, with a coy pond, a swing set, and an awesome tire swing on a beautiful old tree: summer fun guaranteed!
In summary, we had a great stay and will return!

This property has an excellent amount of outdoor space, both for parking, outdoor living or just relaxing in nature. Lots of living areas and recent remodel makes it a very comfortable place to stay. Fresh eggs a fresh fruit was a nice surprise along with generous paper goods. We really didn't want for anything, but Kuan made sure we knew that he was available if we did need anything. I highly recommend this property for your family or friend gatherings. It is also located close to I95 which is great to be able to get where you are going faster.
