Great property and value

Did not get the proper room I booked, had to sleep in 2 separate beds. The restaurant was closed, so no free breakfast, although they did give a voucher to eat and an overpriced tiki bar that wound up costing more. They messed up my billing with their Night Audit, even though the room was prepaid. Took 3 days to get hold released, right before my cruise! Good thing was, it was directly across the street from the Cruise Port, so a short walk got us in the terminal quickly.

Friendly and polite staff. Room was clean. Could see and hear ocean from balcony. Pool area was a lot of fun for an 8 year old.

The staff was wonderful, but I was extremely disappointed on how I felt like the hotel was trying to take advantage of me. I booked a 1 bedroom villa for my birthday, I am aware that I was going to be given 6 bands for amenities for my stay and was okay with it. I called and ask if it was possible to get an additional 4 bands for my family to visit and they have two little children. I was told I can upgrade my room if I want more bands and that they could not give me more because they were not staying there (okay, I understand). I also, did not want to pay $100 to upgrade and then risk it raining and the pool get closed. (Sept 11, weather was TERRIBLE this day in Cape Canaveral) And that is what I told them. Then they were also like the hotel is over occupancy as well and just started to give me excuses. When I checked in, the parking lot was half full. The POOL area was basically empty, and I was super bummed not to experience this the way that I had planned. More money could have been spent at the hotels bar and restaurant with my whole family there vs a room upgrade. We decided to drink and dine elsewhere and not use the amenities.

We had an excellent weekend. In the pool area the children were safe and had a lot of fun. The food and drinks were spectacular. The bar service was the best. The rooms were very spacious, comfortable and clean.

Great resort hotel. Pool is large and never got crowded even though rooms were sold out. Beach access nearby, also no crowding. Lots of activities on rainy days. Overall great stay and would recommend if you want to go to Orlando parks but have a quiet hotel stay.

The staff were not accommodating or welcoming. We waited over 6 hours for our room and then when we did make it to the room is smelt horrible. Like smoke and leftovers.

It was a oceanfront hotel not an oceanfront room

For the price it’s hard to beat. Just wish the food/bar was better and cleaner.

Make sure you look closely to see which Holiday Inn building you’re staying in. We thought (because of the misleading picture) that we would be staying in the closest building to the ocean; however, upon arrival we realized that we were in the third Holiday Inn building (the one with the water slide and lazy river) which is far walk from the beach.

We had the whole family enjoy several days here before there cruise. Everyone enjoyed their time there.

It was great to get off our Disney Cruise and check into a two bedroom Apartment, relax by the pool while our laundry was being done with the in-suite of washer/dryer. It was great seeing the other cruise ships leave that evening. Then waking up the next morning made traveling back home super relaxing and stress free.

Stayed for a few nights prior to our cruise. Great location next to the port.

The property it self was very nice. I was there May 18,19 and checked out on the 20 the morning front desk worker were very disrespectful and if I asked a question every thing was a one word answer like they really didn’t give a DAM i asked for a corporate number and was told they didn’t have one. I really wish that someone would reach out to me because I had a bigger problem that never got solved and I just don’t think it was right

NO FOOD AFTER 8PM for such a "luxury" hotel and price!!!! I slept on the pullout couch becasue I did get the room with the double beds I requested. After you get to the pool to find that the pool towels are in your room? 10am checkout not 11. You pay for breakfast in advance to get a voucher for $11 each? You still have to pay for drinks etc. And the reason that I choose this hotel was the lazy river - that I recieved an email 1 hour before check-in that it's underconstruction. NEVER AGAIN!!! You fooled me once - I'm sorry for the inconvience - we will do nothing to make your stay any better. Thats fine with me I do not ever have to use your hotels again. Stop nickle and diming everyone.

We had a studio and absolutely loved it. The service at the hotel was amazing. The food at the restaurant was absolutely delicious and the service was impeccable. We also got to see two rocket launches. We would stay there again.

Destiny at check-in was particularly friendly, helpful, and professional.

This is a great place! Some highlights are that the kids loved the lazy river. You have beach access and a wonderful viewing spot to see cruise ships and rocket launches. The two bedroom condos were so nice and spacious.
My biggest concern is that the slide never opened, due to "high winds". This hotel in on the beach, beaches are windy. I was there as a Floridian with a lot of beach experience and I would say the wind was normal. I asked the staff, it seems the slide never opens.

Had a great time here. Stayed 3 nights / 4 days. The overall area was a lot of fun (NASA, amazing wildlife and conservation areas, Cocoa Beach). On check-in we were "booked" into a room that simply would NOT do (facing a parking lot and massive cruise ship deck). After letting the check-in staff know and having 3 people including 2 middle managers say they could do nothing, the issue was escalated to Gary (the property GM) who found us the same condo room but overlooking the beautiful pool and beach area. We were much happier (very nice view) and had a great stay. The resort is perfect for families. Lots to do like mini-golf, pool, slides, beach, game room! Our only complaint was the food on-site. We only had breakfast, but...Yuck! The condo's have full kitchens so you can also cook your own food or travel to Cocoa Beach where there is everything (3-5 miles away). We would stay here again. We enjoyed the property and loved this part of Florida.

Beautiful property , beautiful beach . If you love sea food then you will love all the dining options close by.

We had such a beautiful time at this property! It can be really hard to find such family focused resorts that don’t buckle and dime you for every entertainment option! From movies, to the lazy river and epic slide, our kids were thrilled! Great restaurants nearby for super fresh seafood with great entertainment! We will be back again soon!

Pool area was great. Studio was nice with kitchenette, nice bathroom. Long walk to the beach from main building. Nicely kept property. No ice machine, go to the restaraunt to get ice. Reasonably priced pool drinks. Quiet area of cape canaveral near jetty park. Quieter days at the resort, less kids at the pool mon-wed.

We enjoyed our stay. We were there for three nights and had everything we needed for that time. The water park was awesome and we enjoyed walking the board walk to the pool. The main reason I am dropping stars is because of the lack of chairs at the water park during busy times. Another person complained to me about this with no prompting. People claim chairs/tables in the morning and don’t show up til the afternoon. I wanted to be able to watch my kids play and could not do so. The only chair I found was a broken one.
Lastly, the theater only has kids movies in the morning, which isn’t super useful for parents.

Beautiful property close to the port. Convenient for pre and post cruising. Very nice room. Easy walk to the beach. Nice pool areas.

The main pool was closed for remodel and other areas including indoor play area has been closed for remodel for approximately four years. Just feels like with all the amenities down so would the prices but they have not changed.

I liked everything BUT the raccoons that were Randomly walking around the pool where my kids were in the evening, and on the walking paths. It was very uncomfortable, they are not afraid of people and you can see where they’re being feed in the walking trails. That was the only thing that I was very uncomfortable with, especially having kids that like to take daily runs thru those trails. Everything else was beautiful and we really enjoyed ourselves!

Great hotel, watch out for the time share catch. In a quiet area but wouldn’t mind more services to be in the area. A bit of a walk to the beach if you are in the first 2 buildings, but could take the carts to shorten the walk. Overall, the staff was courteous. Make sure you stand in the right area for the restaurant and tiki bar are they may not pay attention to you.

This property has EVERYTHING!! From the amenities to the staff, our stay was wonderful. Everyone in the area is so friendly. This was our third visit to this resort and will not stay anywhere else, it is excellent for both family vacations to romantic, relaxing getaways.
