Lovely room. Great food. Good service

further clarity of the peculiar car registration scheme when parking would be useful. Still unclear if we registered at checkin or not

One night stay

Stayed here a few times and it’s always been great. The staff are friendly and helpful, the breakfast is nice and so is the lunch/evening food.

An additional night for my mother in law to stay in her favourite place near to an old friend in New Forest & easy access to shopping in Christchurch. Thoroughly enjoyed it with very helpful friendly staff. Went to see the Pannaging pigs

the room is large so an armchair and luggage rack would be useful . As well as a large bed (1.60)
but everything else is perfect including the restaurant

Last night, we stayed at a hotel that, overall, was okay but had its ups and downs. The staff were amazing and incredibly helpful, which made a big difference in our experience. We were lucky to find a place that allowed us to bring our pet cat, which was important to us. However, the room radiator didn’t work, and it was quite cold. Fortunately, the staff quickly stepped in and changed our room, showing great hospitality.
The rooms themselves were average—nothing special but decent. The first room wasn’t the cleanest, with the toilet being fine, but the carpet had stains and didn’t seem properly cleaned. The second room they moved us to was better, although the pillows didn’t have covers, which wasn’t ideal. We didn’t want to bother the staff too much, so we decided to stay in the new room without making more requests.
Unfortunately, I struggled with my asthma due to the presence of dogs and other pets, but given the circumstances, it was the only place we could stay. It wasn’t the most comfortable night, especially with the asthma issues, but overall, it was an okay experience, though certainly not great. The staff really stood out as the highlight of our stay.

No toilet brush in bathroom which was unusual. Restaurant menu had several dishes just not available due to having run out. This was Sat evening at 7pm. Staff were very good especially on reception.

Well laid out room with access to open space will return

The thumping base from the party they were hosting went on until very late and meant we couldn’t get any sleep.
Everything else was fine but what’s the point of a hotel room you can’t sleep in.
I will never stay here again.

We stayed at this hotel for one night as we were guests at a wedding nearby. The hotel manager, Adam was great in allowing us to collect our key earlier in the day. The checked in smoothly, had a really comfortable stay and then left the following day. Overall a great experience, thank you.

Right on main road and close to Bournemouth which was our main destination..The hotel was clean and staff were friendly..room clean as was bathroom.Breakfast on first morning was good and dinner was resonable. Place was hosting a wedding and very busy so breakfast on second morning was a little chaotic but ok. Room had glasz doors which opened out on to grass and woodland area with picnic tables. Unfortunate to hv a barking dog in room next door on first night. Staff friendliest made up for it

Lovely friendly place .
Some of the rooms looked a bit tired but apart from that all ok .
We ate at the restaurant and mentioned our daughter's burger was raw in the middle .They said they would let someone know but nothing further done .

The breakfast was excellent
Evening meal was below par (fish and chips)

Very tired hotel. Bournemouth Airport needs to seriously start looking at services near its home.
The hotel is dated ,was dirty in and out. Tired and not up to the standard you’d expect for the price paid.
Breakfast service was also too late for us which really was annoying.
Counter to this the staff couldn’t do enough but I do wonder why the have opted not to freshen up the whole offering.

We stayed for one night. Property was comfortable, clean and quiet although next to a main road. Unfortunately there was no hot water!

Room was clean and modern. Beds really comfortable.

Comfortable hotel, nice food, efficient staff.
Non conventional washbasin taps in room 1, one tap turns off clockwise the other anticlockwise, resulting in an unexpected shower.

Bed was comfortable, large room and bathroom, very clean throughout the hotel. Breakfast was varied and well cooked. Service was excellent. Staff friendly and helpful. Gardens extensive. No local amenities that I was aware of. Sort of place ideal if just passing through, having a reception or making use of the bar/restaurant.

Great choice for us
Free parking, clean comfortable king bed, quiet and our room overlooked a green area.

We had an excellent time at St Leonards. The only complaint was that evening meal service was sloe because they were short of stay. Otherwise I would stay again.

Stayed overnight as had a party there. Food, accommodation and staff were all amazing

Bed was really soft too much so for both of us felt as if mattress springs had gone. But staff were friendly and polite

Room was cold when i entered.

The hotel itself was a little tired and needed a bit of maintenance, nothing dramatic just few few bits broken that were waiting to be replaced. I have dinner on the first night which was nothing special, however both times I had breakfast it was very good, although not cheap!
Parking was good, the wi-fi did the job, I slept well and showered well, no complaints, but for full marks it needs a little TLC and attention.

This is the fourth time my husband, dog and myself have stayed at this hotel. We have always found the staff welcoming and level of cleanliness good. This stay was for 3 nights and we ate breakfast and evening meals for our entire stay. The food has previously been hit and miss but this time it was of excellent standard with a new menu and I assume a new chef. Very dog friendly but wise to let them know before turning up.
We will return next year for our annual Autumn New Forest adventures. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Everything was great apart from the receptionist on the day of checkout (Sun 15th Oct). When we arrived the day before the room tea/coffee/milk/sugar hadn’t been fully replenished I don’t think as only enough for a couple of drinks and 1 biscuit to share. In the morning I popped to reception to ask for a few more milks and sugar so we could have some tea and coffee before checkout and the receptionist was really quite rude. I asked for sugar and milk and she said “housekeeping will do that” is quite a short manner. I said that would be lovely for the next guests but we would like some hot drinks before leaving so she said “oh, so you want me to do that right now?” I felt like saying, if the room had of been set up correctly in the 1st place then I would have already had milk and sugar but I didn’t and said yes please, if not too much trouble. She huffily went off and I waited for about 10 mins and she hasn’t returned so went back to the room to see if some had appeared as she took my room number but none had. So I waited 5 mins and went back and I think a boss was with her as she totally lied and said I had disappeared. The receptionist on Saturday when we checked in was a really lovely girl so it was just the Sunday morning receptionist which spoilt the experience.

This place is OK as chain hotels go. The rooms was spacious and the bed was comfortable. The seating was a function room chair which was not a comfortable option for watching the tv in the evening. The food was inexpensive but whilst not unpleasant, the lamb shank and the chips, also lacked any flavour at all. I was served a side dish of vegetables which were unpleasant, prepacked, frozen and microwaved. I understand that hotels need portion control and cost control but at least you could give a chef some veg to prep. I do 100+ nights in hotels a year and the food in this place was close to the worst this year.

Room was pleasant but we were unable to get showered as there was no hot water and we were kept up late due to a wedding taking part downstairs.
Spoke to a gentlemen in reception and he assured me a 20% refund would be issued.
