It is a good hotel, however there are improvements to be made, since there is no hot water, but if it has a sea view, if you only want to spend 1 or 2 days maximum, it is a good idea, but not more than 2 days

In a lifetime of cheap hotels this is the first one where I was afraid I would be injured!..no one at check in ..no welcome... toilet did not work...knocking and scaping noises at random times ...power drill all afternoon..there was 1 Cheap plastic hanger...no water or glasses...no chair or desk ( I dragged a heavy wood bench in from hallway) no place to put toiletry items..vague sewer odor..Balcony door would not slide ( took all my strength to push it shut..feared being hurt...ditto bathroom door ( could not reopen for hours of tiring effort..no blanket...TV Remote too complicated and no signal on many stations..last night 8 p 4 men dragged a bed into adjacent room much noise and hammering THEN spayed industrial strength bug spray so thick I was choking ... elevator would not come to 4 th foot ( I feared entrapment).....This MISERABLE OLD DOG of Hotel should be shut down. AVOID!!!

Rooms are in very poor condition. Mouldy bathroom. Old stained linen and beds (where there is no linen covering it) it is not a place you ‘want’ to be at any time.

Place is falling apart. No amenities, coffee, ice, disposable cups or water as a welcome courtesy.

Shower doors broken won’t slide, shut good, sheets were always dirty everyday even after changing, balcony’s full of pigeon 💩. Bed hard as a rock may have to see chiropractor coming back home soon! Ran out of toilet paper 👎😒air conditioning was great but blows on face at night put luggage to divert cold air! Nice tv! But definitely keep the tile and change the bed 101 room not horrible but not outstanding, I come from America I expect a nice room with ocean view lol. Gave me street view!;( no ice machine which is normal for Mexico! No food at all, good parking for car! Wouldn’t go back but not the worst I’ve ever seen type deal! Could be better if the clean and fix some stuff. Oh and water was ice cold at 11am one day. That wasn’t fun! Faucet made the loudest noise, but they put on a new one thank god for them!

The people at the reception are all bad-faced and not friendly at all, the towels are very worn and look like kitchen towels, the room was for two people and there was only one towel, you park your car on the street and only one sachet of shampoo, the only convenient thing It is the proximity to the center, I would think very well about returning, they are not friendly at all

The balcony was pretty nice, the terrace was great, but the room was VERY spartan and dated.. worst of all, NO blankets on the beds! Only 1 thin sheet on the beds, made for a terrible night of sleep. Air conditioning worked great, great location but definitely won’t stay here again

Atrocious internet. It barely ever works on the 5th floor and I was never able to connect on the lobby.
Noisiest AC I've ever witnessed, It sounds like a train. You have to experience it to believe. There is a ceiling fan that is quiet and provides some relief.
Great view to the bay and location.
Decently clean.
The shower has good pressure but infrequent hot water.
Decent towels and mattress.
This could easily be a great place but needs some changes.

I really enjoyed my stay here, I stayed 3 nights with great service. Very nice people who smile and welcome you. I was very happy that it was a pet friendly hotel! The room was clean and great views from your balcony, where you can watch the sunrise. Very quiet hotel, they keep it really nice. I would for sure stay here again if I pass through Veracruz again. Cute lil hotel across from the beach.

My time at the hotel was overall exactly what one should expect at a hotel. Decently sized rooms that are comfortable. The staff are friendly and will attend to you if need anything. I haven't met anyone who speaks English or French, but I haven't asked because I speak Spanish.
The view from the rooms are lovely because you can see the Port and the beaches.
Wifi could be a problem in the Single rooms (these rooms are at the beginning of the floors by the stairs where I stayed) are furthest from the modems that are placed in the hallway. If you really need internet the Lobby and Hallways all have strong wifi signal. If you absolutely must be on the grid at all times, make sure your room is closest to the Modem (you want any room not ending is #1 ie. 101 201 301 401 501) or pay more at a different hotel but honestly the spirit of getaways is to go out and discover the city. The rooms have everything you need to rest. Internet was not high on my list.
There is no pool here, but it does not need one. The Playa Regatas is sort of artificial beach/pool in that it is closed off by the ports but still uses ocean water, so it is extremely safe. It is directly across the street and if you enjoy excercising there is really no better location of any hotel in the city 10/10. There are free excercise equipment for the public and a Mile walkway into ocean and the locals wake up early before the sun rises to excercise. People often remember you if you go a lot and say hello!
