A beautiful house in a perfect spot. We’ll be back
4.0
The house is very well suited to a large family group like ours. The bedrooms and bathrooms are all excellent as are the living areas. It just needs a little extra attention to detail to rate five stars, eg the blind in the main bedroom is broken, the lights above the stove don’t work, and the front door is impossible to lock from the outside.

This was our second stay at Cleopatra.
As a single storey property it ideally suits our family ranging in age from 8 to 78.
Plenty of room and ideal location.

We enjoyed the space and facilities in the property. The only downside was broken blinds meaning we were woken by sunlight very early in the morning.

The property had everything we needed. It was a good size and had good indoor and outdoor facilities. We visited end October, it would be a confortable place to stay in either summer or winter with a nice garden and outdoor areas, and fireplace indoors.
I visited for a weekend away with my husband and a few friends visiting from the city for two nights. The location in Blackheath meant that on our way there we were able come in along the North of the Blue Mountains stopping at places on the way in Bilpin and at the Botanic Gardens at Mount Tomah. While staying we were able to take advantages of the local shops and places to have lunch in Blackheath town, do a food shop in Katoomba around 15 minutes drive away. We did the Grand Canyon Walk, and also Govetts Leap lookout. When heading back to the city after our stay we toured through Katoomba, the Three Sisters and Leura. The location of the house made all of this easy.

This was a great house for a group of friends to have a really pleasant weekend! We tend to cook together rather than eat out, and the kitchen had everything we needed. The lounge, dining and kitchen areas were large enough for our group, and it was easy to chat with people in the lounge as you prepared dinner in the kitchen. The rooms were comfortable, the house clean, and we especially enjoyed the feeling a fireplace lends to an evening! Thank you!
