This lovely, end-terrace cottage is in the town of Amble and can sleep four people in two bedrooms.
Lightkeeper House is a delightful end-terrace cottage situated in Amble, and benefits from wonderful coastal views. The cottage can sleep four people, and the first floor comprises of two spacious bedrooms and a lovely family bathroom. The ground floor at this cottage is open plan, and contains a sitting area with woodburner, a well-equipped kitchen, and a dining area with French doors that lead to the garden and yard with furniture. Lightkeeper House is a lovely, thoughtfully-decorated cottage in a convenient location.
Amenities: Gas central heating with woodburner. Electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, washer/dryer, dishwasher, 2 x TVs (one with full Sky, one with Freeview), DVD, CD/radio, WiFi, selection of books and games. Fuel, power and starter pack for woodburner inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Highchair on request. Roadside parking for 2 cars. Enclosed yard with furniture and BBQ, side lawned area. Two well-behaved dogs welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shop 2 mins walk, pub 5 mins walk. Beach 2 mins walk.

Town: The bustling town of Amble is situated at the mouth of the River Coquet and is an ideal place for exploring Northumberland. Historically a centre for boatbuilding, Amble offers a marina, a harbour, sandy beaches and coastal walks to the bird sanctuary at Hauxley. Large fishing boats moor along the harbour wall and land a variety of fish, prawns, crabs and lobsters - the daily catch can be bought at a fish shop in the harbour. A mile south of Amble is Coquet Island, an RSPB reserve with a large population of terns, puffins and eider ducks and boat trips around the island can be arranged. The pretty coastal villages of Alnmouth and Craster and numerous superb beaches are only a short drive away, whilst charming Alnwick with its castle and award winning gardens, and the National Trust's Wallington Hall and Cragside are all within easy reach.
