The house was well equipped. But we had to do a substantial cleaning ourselves after we checked in. There were two large baskets of dirty damp beach towels we had to wash and dry. The pool house was filthy. The bathroom waste baskets were full. The swimming pool and hot tub water was cloudy. We checked the chemicals and found high Ph and very little chlorine. We drove to Milton to buy the chemicals needed to fix. On Saturday the pool service man came and apologized and reimbursed me for the chemicals but not for the auto expense. There were several cooking utensils that were dirty and needed cleaning. The large exterior trash cans were nearly full when we arrived. The house book stated the local team should come Thursday to place cans at the street for pick up. During the week we kept compressing the trash to make room for ours. Early Thursday morning I took the cans to the street. They were emptied by 7:30. Later that day the local team member drove up to say he was coming to move the trash cans to the street. I explained what happened. He apologized and noted that he should pick them up Wednesday. He said the owners were very unhappy and he expected the team would be fired after the season.

This home was perfect for our multi-family vacation. There were plenty of sleeping options. The pool and hot tub were used often and enjoyed by all. The grounds were perfect for an outdoor obstacle course. The kitchen had all we needed to enjoy family meals together all week.

Our extended family found lots to do in and around the house. The kids adored having their own space with plenty of room to play on the top floor. The pool and hot tub were clean and functioning though frogs also seemed to enjoy hopping in the pool overnight. Ping pong in the pool house was great. The yard was big enough for a whiffle ball game and the badminton net got some use as well. We took both the provided canoe and kayak out on the lake along with a paddleboard we brought. Sunsets were lovely though the dock was partially underwater after heavy rain. Kids had some luck fishing from the dock. Only downside with a lot of people was there was no quiet bedroom to sleep in it seemed like- master and other bedroom were near the kitchen and in the basement footsteps above were loud. With the pool house though, plenty of time to spread out from others if you wanted space or to come together if you didn't. A really nice place for a large family gathering.

This is our second year renting this house for our family vacation with 4 generations(ages 3-94) and it was perfect for all of us. We loved the pool, fire pit, kids room with toys, and grilling on the deck. Everyone is looking forward to doing it again next year!

This is a very new home, and is well equipped. It served our extended family quite well. The top floor bedroom is designed for the kids to enjoy. The other 4 bedrooms are spacious and nicely furnished, as is the rest of the home. The central air is great for those very muggy days. Unbelievably, the heated pool has a pool house with wet bar, refrigerator, full bath, a ping pong table, and air conditioning! There's also a hot tub next to the pool. We were there in early July, and apparently it was the season for these little moths to be out and about. It would be great if something could be done to mitigate them, but they were only a minor nuisance. Also, the home could use either larger trash receptacles or more frequent trash collection. All in all, we had a wonderful time and would recommend this home.

Property was as advertised but I thought we were on the lake and it was across the street but the pool and hot tub were wonderful. The pool house was also a great place for the teenagers to play ping pong and Xbox.
BUT … I inquired about what type of coffee maker was in the house and was told it had a k-cup machine. It did not… it had a drip coffee maker and a n espresso with one pod and no place in North Hero to buy supplies! The cleaning service left one dish towel, one garbage bag for a six night stay, NO dishwasher pods for the dishwasher, only one wash cloth in one of the bedrooms. Other than that it was a great place for a family vacation!

Unfortunately, we had several problems with the house and none of them were resolved. We never got answers. When we arrived, the house had many flies, the smoke alarm did not stop denorating, the game room could not be used and the fireplace did not work properly.
