About this apartment rental

If you enjoy the holidays, this is the place to be! This amazing property is perfect at any time of the year; however, if you are traveling between mid September - early January, you will be welcomed by a festive holiday display on the front exterior the property. The space itself offers 2 bedrooms and 2 amazing bathrooms with higher end finishes. Beautiful modern upgrades throughout. Large kitchen with quartz countertops, which provides seating for 4. The building has a shared large patio with lake views in the front the building. Bath 1 has 4 body sprays and a powerful rain head and Bath 2 has a jetted bathtub/shower combo. In unit laundry & supplies. Walking distance to bars, restaurants, Starbucks, Loyola and the Red line train station. On site garage parking for 1 small to mid sized car is avail. for an addl. $25 daily fee; however, you must reserve at booking. If your car is greater than 200” in length, please reach out to host well in advance to confirm if your vehicle will fit. We have access to a second garage space that is slightly bigger; however, the space gets booked up quickly, so you must confirm well in advance. For those who have larger pick up trucks, you will likely have a difficult time finding a place to park, as Chicago is dense and parking is limited; however, please reach out to the host and she will check to see if there are alternative parking options available. Exterior security cameras are present at the property. The camera locations are (2) in the front of the building, (2) on the east side, (1) on the west side of the building and (2) in the alley on the garage. The front door intercom also has a camera with audio capacity built in to the intercom system. There are no cameras in the interior space.

I stayed here early August (4 days/3 nights) with my wife and two kids (ages 4 and 2). The checkin process was smooth as the host provided detailed information on everything. The apartment itself is amazing, very well maintained and had all the amenities we needed and kid friendly. Location: it's a few hundred feet from the beach and walking distance to shops. It's perfect for driving into the city or the suburbs. The parking is tight! But we were able to fit a midsize SUV somehow. And having a garage rather than street parking was a huge convenience. The host was super responsive and other tenants were very kind. We will definitely stay here again next time!

Host was super easy to communicate with and very kind. Beds were very comfortable, home was very clean. The area was lovely, walked to grocery store and restaurants. Several walks on the beach, that’s right there. I’d stay in this home again!

This wonderful VRBO apartment was perfect for our Chicago vacation! The location was amazing: beautiful, safe neighborhood just blocks from the beach/lake, CTA Red Line, and restaurants. It was clean and tastefully decorated. It was also abundantly stocked with everything we needed for our stay. The property manager was great and very attentive to ensuring we had a great stay! We visit Chicago often and will look to return to this property each time! Thank you!!

We’re a family of four and enjoyed our stay. The property was super clean, well designed, & stylish. We walked to Starbucks, the beach, giordano’s pizza, a sushi/poke bowl restaurant, & Loyola’s campus. The host was very responsive and helpful. We took an Uber to Navy Pier & the Magnificent mile and we took a boat tour on the river. A great weekend stay for the kids to get to experience Chicago life. Thanks for letting us enjoy your property!

Diane was the best host! Not only was this property clean and as described, Diane was very attentive to our needs, even down to providing ice packs and massager for my back issues. The lake is right there! What a beautiful walk. We were in town for baseball games and worked very well from this property. We used Uber and Lyft but the train is also close. This is our go to spot anytime we return to Chicago! Thanks for making us feel so welcome and for being such great hosts! Enjoy the corona! Cheers!!

Home is lovely and resides just north of the L-Red Line so it was really easy to pop into downtown Chicago without issue! We stayed here with our three kids and it was a beautiful, well maintained rental! Additionally, the owner was a gem and very communicative!

The location was great for our visit of Loyola. It's walking distance to the school, a few restaurants, and close to the L. The property is clean, the beds are comfortable, and it was one of the best "stocked" VRBOs we've ever stayed in.

We enjoyed walking to and along the lake, the great mural project, the view of downtown from the pier, easy "el" access, and the sparkling, modern interior of the unit, which had a fantastic array of kitchen equipment. I particularly appreciated the full spice drawer and coffee filters etc.

Overall we were extremely happy and comfortable here. The close proximity to the beach was phenomenal and our dogs loved their walks. Unit is stocked with everything you need. Host was gracious and helpful. Unfortunately, we were unable to maneuver our SUV into the garage, but we easily found nearby street parking. Will likely stay here again!

We were so happy with the location. The lake is right at the end of the street, the leaves were changing and the weather was perfect for us after a very long and hot Arizona summer. The host Diane was great. We would definitely book again.

We were visiting Northwestern, but this is actually closer to Loyola. Great spot for either one. We went out on the beach every day/evening for walks. We felt safe and comfortable on the beach and walking the neighborhood. Starbucks for breakfast at the end of the block and lots of restaurants within walking distance. The garage spot was a bonus, not too hard to maneuver into, and neighbors were very good natured about waiting for us to park. Very quiet at night too.

I can not say enough good things about our stay here. Diane met us when we first arrived to show us where to park and where we would be staying. The apartment was sparkling clean when we entered and we were in awe of this beautiful gem we found. She made sure that if we needed anything that we would not hesitate to call her. Lake Michigan is literally right up the street with lifeguards on duty. The area felt very safe and was easy to walk to restaurants and the red line. When we visit Chicago again, we will 100% be staying here again. Fantastic hostess and a fantastic place!

We loved our stay at the lake side home with amazing amenities. So clean and set up is amazing. Diane provided us with beach chairs and they works so well! Would definitely recommend for any beach going people. We also went to the Cubs game and the red line is just a couple blocks from the home. Great location and great host!!

The place was even nicer in person than it was in the pictures. It was extremely clean and had everything we needed. The beds were comfortable and the shower was amazing! It was a beautiful place to come back to each evening. Diane was so friendly and accommodating, and the neighborhood was very nice. We loved seeing the bunnies in the yards and even met a friendly neighbor and her dog. The kids loved the place too, especially because the beach was a very short walk away. It was also a short drive to everything we wanted to see. We loved our stay!

We cannot say enough about this beautiful place! From the moment we arrived until we left we’d were in contact with the amazing owner. She met us at the property to make sure all was well. This beautiful property was clean and had absolutely everything we needed! We plan to stay again when we are visiting relatives in the area!

The property is as advertised. The location is very close to the beach and secure, and private parking is available at an additional cost, but challenging for a larger SUV. The garden level was the only negative, but I would lease again.
