Very conveniently located home on 1.7 acres with a huge fenced in backyard that backs up to the Des Plaines river. We have flexibility to offer early check-in and/or late check-out, just send us a message so we can try to accommodate your travel schedules.

The space
Maximum number of Adults: 12 (top bunks in bunk bed room meant for children only. Bottom bunks have full size mattresses)

Spacious house designed with family gatherings in mind.
The house sits on 1.7 acres, and the large fenced in backyard has a zip line, propane grill, deck, patio, fire pit and backs up to the Des Plaines river.

House can sleep 14, but maximum number of Adults is 12 (the upper beds in the bunk bed room are meant for children only)

Both 65 Inch 4K TVs have a cable package for live tv, and they both have Roku players with guest mode so you can watch your own streaming services. Lower level TV also has a blu-ray player with lots of children's movies.

Bedroom 3: 2 bunk beds Top bunks have twin size mattresses, and bottom bunks have full size mattresses (the upper bunks are for children only)

Living room with 65 inch 4K smart-tv, large sectional sofa as well as a separate loveseat and coffee table.

Dining Room: 8 seat dining table perfect for family meals, and a high chair is also located at the property.

Kitchen: Recently replaced fridge comes with a craft ice maker, stove, oven, dishwasher, microwave, Keurig coffee maker, toaster. Plenty of plates, glasses, wine glasses, utensils, knives and kid friendly plates and glasses as well.

Bathroom: Dual sink vanity, walk in shower with bench. Body wash, shampoo and conditioner, wash cloths, face cloths

Lower level:
Bedroom 4: Queen size bed and laptop friendly workspace with charging ports.
Bedroom 5: Queen size bed.

Bathroom 2: 8 Jet Whirlpool tub to take the stress away.

Game room with a pool table and bar. Lower level living room consists of a 65 inch smart tv, blu-ray player with plenty of children's movies, fireplace and a bar.

Washer and dryer free to use, with complimentary laundry pods and fabric softener + Iron, ironing board, garment steamer.

Walk out the lower level to the massive back yard.

Backyard: Fire pit, grill, patio table with umbrella and seating for 6. Additional table on the patio with 4 seats. Zip Line and a 2 seater swing.

Being parents to young children, we know how difficult travelling can be at times, so we kept that in mind when furnishing the home. We have a built-in retractable baby gate at the top of the stairs, pack and play, high chair, umbrella stroller, kid friendly plates, glasses and utensils, board games, books, movies and outlet protectors on site that we can leave out for you or put on prior to your arrival.

This is the most well-stocked vrbo we have stayed at. There were plenty ot towels, k-cups, etc and everything was well labeled. Our boys enjoyed fishing in the river.

Will be back next year. Excellent communication with owner. No issues at all. Property as advertised. Plenty of room to sleep, to eat and to play the card game of Euchre.

Excellent accommodations for a family with children. Amenities galore. Amazing backyard. With a zip line for the kids! The host was great. Very responsive to any of our questions. Location is ideal. Close to shopping, dining, and Six Flags.

AC was an amazing host! He was available to answer all questions we had about the property prior to our arrival. This home had everything you could need for a stay, that we usually bring with us : towels, cooking seasonings, laundry detergent/ dryer sheets, you name it, they had it available for us to use. The water heater works like a charm, so be cautious that the water is scolding hot! Check in was easy. Ample space for our large family to retreat to. We took advantage of the fire pit in the backyard and the zip line. Looking forward to staying in the area again before our Sailor ships off to his next duty station. Thank you for allowing us into your beautiful home, we look forward to coming back!

This property was perfect! Our family all came in (even though only 4 were able to go to graduation)! There was plenty of room! We didn’t even have to leave much because there was plenty for the kids to do! They loved fishing in the river and playing pool! The host was quick with responses! Highly recommend!!

The house was perfect for our family vacation. We had space for all of us, everything was clean and amazing. The kids liked the back yard so they could play with our dog. The zipline was a hit. We were close to family, shopping, and restaurants. We would stay again. Having a washer dryer in the house was perfect for our family. The small touches around the house, plenty of towels, snacks left by hosts, and the syrup came in handy since we forgot ours.

This property accommodated our extended family very comfortably. We also had several visitors for BBQ, for which the house was fully equipped. Grandkids played outside in huge yard hours on end! Many thoughtful amenities included kids books, games, well equipped kitchen, dressers, closets, comfortable beds, linens, large dining table, outdoor furniture, outdoor games. Location features easy access to major highways, commuter trains, many attractions. Host is friendly, pleasant to work with.

Our favorite part was the big yard- there is even a zip line! It is right off a main road so the driveway can be missed but still felt quiet and private. There is a metal spiral staircase which I was a little nervous about with our 2 year old twins but they had a safety gate on main level for it which was helpful. Owner was very responsive.

We very much enjoyed our stay. Kids especially loved the zip-line in the backyard. Appreciated the snacks provided and K-Cups for the Keurig. The beds were comfortable, the bathrooms were well equipped and the unit was very clean. Plenty of towels were provided. We also enjoyed the pool table and variety of games and books for the children.
