Visited in August 2024 for 3 nights and had a great stay. The location is awesome and close to lots of restaurants, mini marts and gelato stores.

Great appartment for a family. The authentic Italian decor gave it a special ambiance. We appreciated being 20 minutes walk to the train station and many touristic sites. Eleonora adresses our requests quickly. Great service!

Mrs. Eleonora met us at the property was super nice and showed us on the map where we were and how to get to the places that we asked her about, also make some recommendations of restaurants that we should checkout. The place was quite and close to some great places but far enough from the hassle and bustle so that we could relax when we wanted. Felt safe the entire time I was there and will be checking availability next time I need a place to stay in Florance.

We could not have asked for a better apartment to stay in. There were six of us, three couples, and we all were comfortable with plenty of room. There was a perfect pastry shop right next-door, so we had fresh croissants every morning for breakfast. You can walk all over Florence very easily. I highly recommend this apartment for any family who wants the perfect vacation in Florence.

We enjoyed the apartment and its location. Staff was extremely helpful before and during our stay. Would stay here again. We had sleeping capacity for 8 people, including one twin bed located in an alcove at the top of the stairs.

Oh my goodness, what a great find this apartment was!!
It was huge, spotlessly clean and as good as it looks in the listing, if not better. It truly was like stepping back in time and staying in a palace apartment (with necessary mod cons!!).
We stayed in December and it was beautifully decorated for Christmas.
It’s in a great spot not far from the Ponte Vecchio and an easy walk to most of Florence’s main attractions.
There is a square with several restaurants less than a minute’s walk from the apartment.
The manager was lovely and very easy to communicate with and offered great suggestions for sightseeing and restaurants. She also came to our rescue when we were struggling to get a taxi on the morning of our departure.
There are multiple apartments, we stayed in Angeli Apartment, but I imagine the others are as wonderful.
I cannot recommend this property highly enough.
Should I ever be lucky enough to return to Florence, I will without hesitation stay here again.

The Palazzo Bucciolino is a beautiful old building, so don't expect it to look like a modern apartment. The pictures appear much lighter than the apartment actually is. But the frescoes are beautiful, the apartment was very clean and comfortable. It is also walking distance to all the sites we wanted to see.
It has a washing machine, but we found it easier to visit the local laundry. The bathrooms are updated, there was plenty of hot water, and the kitchen was well equipped. The check-in process was great, Elle was wonderful. We dropped our bags early, went for a walk, and returned at 3:30. The apartment was prepared and we enjoyed our stay. I would love to visit again. BTW, Rome was great, but Florence was better. Much better.

Great experience. Elly was wonderful telling us about the apartment.
Beautiful, and quite unique. The pictures were accurate.
The only problem was the second bathroom was up a steep set of stone steps and more steps near the shower.
The furniture was well worn, but we didn’t spend much time inside, and it fit in with the rest of the apartment, which shared a common hallway with another apartment.
The Santos Spirito area had wonderful bake shops and restaurants.
Steps from the Pitti Palace and Boboli Gardens.
A short walk over the Ponti Veccchio (which had entertainment at night), and you had more shops and restaurants, and museums.
The Duomo Square was busy night and day.
We had a great lunch in the food market.
A must stay!

The apartment was lovely and situated near a Plaza with restaurants, a gelato store and local markets. We loved the apartment and the area it was in. Ella was very helpful;-)

We chose this property to be in the overall spirit of Florence by staying in a palazzo! We stayed in the Angeli apartment. The bedrooms were large and easily accommodated our group of 7. One bathroom was very spacious. The other was extremely tiny and involved several steps to maneuver around in. We managed, but the 2nd bathroom is not child friendly. It was in a great location with everything within walking distance and yet far enough away from the noise of the center. Elly assisted with car service to and from the airport and was quick to respond to any needs relating to the apartment. Overall we had a great stay in a great location!

This is a very peculiar property to stay. The adults loved it and the kids were terrified LOL. The property overall condition were fine. The only issues were the beds, they were itchy, like they had bedbugs and not too comfortable same with the pillows. Other than that it was great. The owner was very nice too.

Wow! What an exquisite and unique rental. The history of the building, the frescos, the location made it perfect for my family to explore Florence. But one of the best parts of our stay was Elly who made sure we were well taken care of. She went above and beyond for us. Definitely consider this rental!

We were very fortunate to have come across Federico's property. First I want to give Federico 10 STARS!! We arrived in his property 2 hours early and had contacted him to arrange our luggage drop off until check in time, not only that he was very understanding but he accommodated our request to ensure that we can maximize our 2 day stay in Florence. I met with Elly the manager and Marceala and they were both just so pleasant and lovely. Elly spoke English perfectly and with my zero Italian language, I somehow able to communicate with Marceala. The rooms are clean and beds are comfortable. The ambiance is grand! The high ceiling and fresco walls are total bonus. It is about 10-15 min easy walk to the main town but there was plenty to see along the way as it heads you over to the bridge and the gold market. We also loved the fact that we were somehow on the outskirts and was able to experience the local market and daily neighborhood vibes. The check in was easy. The apt is located on the 1st floor but there is a flight of stairs to bring up your luggage/s. So if you're like us with 8 people and 8 check in luggages, carry-on etc...you don't need to go to the gym, you'll get your work-out. We would definitely return here on our next visit. Thank you for this experience. Until then Arrivederci!

We absolutely loved our stay at Santo Spirito! It was the perfect apartment for my family of 5 and was in a great area close to everything. Check-in was super easy and our hostess, Elly was wonderful and explained everything about the apartment as well as Florence sites to see. I would definitely stay here again the next time I’m in Firenze. Grazie mille!

Ella was an absolute delight to work with. She went above and beyond helping with transportation and suggestions on what to do in the city. The decor was very neat. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend!

To be surrounded by walls of old frescos and such detailed trompe l’oeile trim work everywhere you turn...this is the place to stay in Florence! And Eleanora! We were stressed out travelers on the second leg of a 2 week challenging trip! She communicated with us just enough and made us feel like we were in good hands. And we were! Such a great experience! There was nothing better for our family of three. My husband and I brought our daughter to Italy as a graduation present. We were all so comfortable with the accommodations. Very comfortable beds and bedding with everything we needed in the kitchen. Eleanora recommended a perfect dinner spot for our first night and the rest of the trip flowed beautifully. We used the guidebook of the apartment, walking and biking many miles through the city. This place is so centrally located. We went to an opera our first night that was about 800 ft away in a magnificent church.
It was so nice having breakfast on the terrace while hanging our freshly washed clothes on the rack. The bedrooms and bathrooms were spacious and so well appointed. I wish we could have stayed for a week but 3 days in this apartment was such a dreamy departure of our regular lives. We felt completely rejuvenated after our time here! Thank you to the owner of this apartment and to Eleanora, our wonderful host! Our trip to Florence was a truly memorable one!
