The studio flat itself was absolutely divine. It was thoroughly furnished and has everything that you need. The Smart TV was a bonus as you’re able to log in to all of your streaming platforms so it feels as if you’re at home!
The location of the hotel is perfect. Right in the heart of town and only a 5 minute walk from the beautiful beach.
When booking, I requested a cot and it was all set up once we arrived. There was no last minute faffing around because it had been forgotten about.
As soon as you step into the building, you’re met with an instant wave of heat. We stayed when the weather was only 20/21 degrees so I’m shocked at how hot the building is. Luckily, we were provided with a standing fan (plus the windows opened ever so slightly) but that didn’t do much as we were sweating during both the day night.
It would have been great if the hotel had a restaurant but that’s really just me being picky!
When booking, the site said that I’d have a city view but that was far from the case. My window overlooked a dire care park.
The one thing that really disappointed me is the fact that you cannot lock your door once you’re inside the room. For safety reasons, I always lock the door once I’m inside as I have my two year old son with me. On the day of checkout, a housekeeper barged into the room at 9:43am when checkout is actually at 11am. I have no clue why they’re going through rooms so early in the morning with no prior notice to guests. I was in the bathroom when this happened and luckily I had the sense to barricade the door with my buggy in case anyone was to walk in. I was offered no explanation as to why someone was going through the rooms 1 hour and 15 minutes prior to the check out time.
Based on the temperature and the experience of a housekeeper opening the door, I wouldn’t stay in this location again. The interior is lovely but it’s too hot and the lack of safety is not something I’m used too when staying in other locations

We loved how close Vive is to the beach and amenities. We liked how it was an apartment and the staff helped when we needed it.
It would be useful to have instructions for the appliances as well.
3.9
In general it was aesthetically appealing and the bed comfortable
No hot water in the morning
The hallway to the rooms had a a strong and slightly unpleasant odour
3.9
Clean and in good condition
Felt like the accommodation was more of a residence than for short stays

The hotel is in a great location, a stones throw from the sea front and close to restaurants. The Frontage is appealing and the staff very helpful. I booked it because it had a kitchen so I could make my own breakfast and eat in if required. This worked, but there were no instructions for any of the equipment, I had to get staff to come and explain how things worked (I have never come across a hob that needs a remote control to work before!). The room was a good size and the shower was great. It looked quite stylish, lots of black.
My two biggest complaints are that it said it had parking when I booked, but the car park was closed when I got there and I ended up spending a lot on parking the van, which is very annoying. Secondly the bed. The mattress was about 4 inches deep and seemed to be filled with pebbles. I can't remember sleeping on a more uncomfortable bed in my life. As a result, I had very little sleep the whole week, which is not good (nor safe when working at height!) The room looks nice on the surface, but it is very badly designed. The bed is sideways in an alcove, this was fine for me, as I was alone, but if there were two sharing, one would have to climb over the other person to get in and out of bed. The bin can't be opened where it is, the drawers in the cupboard can't be opened without opening both doors and the doors can't be opened without moving the chair! The toilet seat was broken and slapped you in the back every time you sat down, the taps were noisy, the blind couldn't be opened without standing on the bed, the windows were covered with splats of paint, the door lock didn't work properly (I had to get the staff again to show me the 'knack' of getting it to work) and whilst a hard floor might be practical in some regards, they need to be swept every day, by Friday my floor was 'crunchy' (and there was no brush and pan). A rug would be a good idea. It would take relatively little thought to make this place great, but at the moment, there is too much that isn't good so I won't be returning.

Stayed here several times, I can honestly say it’s a beautiful place, staff friendly and meet any needs
The room everything you need the house maids met any request

It was clean and modern
Rooms were cold, tvs didn’t work and no bar when website says there is one. Staff seemed very uninterested in helping with problem with the TV

Lovely welcome from the receptionist and a constant presence from the reception team. Good to have a fridge, kettle and a nice comfy bed. The room was quite warm (it was a hot day!) but there were two fans provided to keep us cool.
This didn't bother me, but may be an issue for others - the hotel is super centrally located, the downside to this is that there is no on site parking and my room was opposite a nightclub and a bar so there was noise from outside.

Clean, new, modern, fantastic location, well designed apartments
Outlook from the windows wasn’t great. Building work being done. But we weren’t there for the views, just the great location and exceptional value for money
3.9
Self-contained and self catering
No sky TV

Cleanliness, secure , kitchenette, size ,
After being let down by another accommodation I received a very warm welcome on reception by Elton who was most helpful.
Room had good facilities and a comfortable bed as well as being a good size .
Reasonable value for money for what's provided
Very little,

Location, very clean
Room temperature too hot and no window opening to allow ventilation
3.9
Nice room and decor
Checked in at 3.30pm to find the bed stripped and not made. Rubbish in the bathroom and floors not been swept.

The location was excellent. Nearby parking was reasonably priced. Good facilities in the room. Pleasant, if not always totally knowledgeable, staff.
What seemed like intermittent ventilation noise was annoying. There were no instructions to work the heating and the night staff didn't know anything about it. All I wanted was to be sure it was switched off!

New rooms
No ventilation, no windows, we couldn’t sleep there was no air con the room was 29degrees. No water provided either. Couldn’t wait to leave for fresh air. As a result we have very dry and sore throats. Worst night in a hotel ever and for £150 not worth it at all
3.9
Self catering. Tea, coffee, sugar & milk provided. Modern, top quality fixtures & fittings. Shower was easy to use, toiletries provided! Bed was comfortable & linen was lovely & white! Everything was high standard!
Room was stifling, had to use fans provided day & night. No air conditioning or windows that opened.

Very friendly staff and very helpful lovely clean rooms

Very VERY noisy at night. Directly outside of a yates pub. We pretty much didn’t sleep all night. I mentioned to the guy on reception really nicely the next day to explain that we hadn’t had a great stay for that reason and he smiled sarcastically as said “no problem, have a great day” . They couldn’t care less! Only stay here if you are looking to go for a night out, not actually sleep.

The location was spot on and the staff were very friendly. Definitely stay there again

Property was new, modern and had good facilities in the studio.
Very little not to like. Would have preferred if bed was not lodged against the wall
3.9
It was a lovely room and very clean. Nice shower and comfy bed.
Unfortunately the aircon wasn’t (yet?) working so it was incredibly hot in the room. I imagine once it works it’ll be a lovely hotel.
3.9
The property it’s self is fantastic with great decor and the rooms are lovely.
Bulbs out in the room, shower extractor not working.
3.9
I wanted to give a higher overall score based on the general facilities and cleanliness of the room and hotel.
This was let down by the negatives.
Studio room 305. The most uncomfortable mattress I have slept on. In fact the mattress is faulty and a big concern because the reception desk said you had new mattresses delivered just 6 months earlier.
I actually work for a mattress manufacturer and have to say this mattress needs to be returned to your supplier. A big nuisance trying to watch standard TV if you have don’t like YouTube, Netflix and Prime.
A real shame because the studio facilities were very much liked and appreciated.
3.9
Very clean and tidy. Staff were friendly and welcoming . Design and layout of room was great.
The noise at night was horrendous which kept me awake all night, not so great when you have a 4 hour drive the next day.
TV channels didn't work , no aricon and having to ask for hairdryer and iron.
