We wanted to get away for a few days, visit waterfalls, quaint towns, stay in a cabin with all the comforts of home. This place was perfect. Rustic look and feel, but at the same time very modern and comfortable. Best of both worlds. Very roomy, large and well equipped kitchen, great fireplace, plenty of firewood, comfortable beds, very quiet, I could go on. We all had a great time, would definitely return.

This cabin was fabulous! So clean and so well stocked with everything we needed. It was secluded enough that we felt like we were alone in the woods. It was big and comfortable with a wonderful porch and outdoor fire pit. We could not have enjoyed it more. It’s a great location within manageable distance from great hikes, waterfalls, beautiful views, and great restaurants. We hope to come back!

Everything was very nice. However, since 3 bedrooms were being used it would have been nice to know that the air conditioner did not work upstairs. Also, an explanation of the steepness of the road leading up to the house should be known. My husband had to put his truck in four wheel drive. The question is, would a regular car have been able to get up there.
Aside from these two things it was a very positive experience and made for a great stay.

A true mountain cabin. From the drive in to the interior decor this is a great getaway. Clean cabin, well appointed and fantastic host that communicated well. We will be back! p.s. the”Duke” is always on watch.

My husband and I and 2 of our adult children stayed here for 2 nights for the Father's Day Weekend. The cabin is great and the location is very convenient to lots of great hikes and it about a 15-20 min drive to Blairsville restaurants.

My wife and I were treating a young couple from England to a weekend in north Georgia, and we wanted them to see the best our state has to offer. Having this beautiful--very modern--log cabin as our base made our short adventure perfect. Some of the state's best waterfalls are nearby: DeSoto Falls, Vogel State Park's Trahlyta Falls, Anna Ruby Falls. And walking distance from the cabin are Helton Creek's two spectacular falls. Also nearby is the hike to Blood Mountain, the highest point on the Appalachian Trail in Georgia.
The time in the Cabin was comfortable in every way: great beds, a modern kitchen with all of the amenities including a well-stocked Keurig coffee maker, two very clean full bathrooms with toiletries, and a large a-frame living room warmed by a fantastic fireplace. Plus lots of firewood!
Communication with Serina was great throughout the booking process and during the stay itself. Every message I sent her was replied to within minutes.
My wife and I look forward to bringing more friends to this cozy log cabin in the future. You won't be disappointed if you book it too!

Thank you so much for having us at your beautiful cabin. We had the best time hiking up to the falls and roasting marshmallows over the fire at night. Our teenage boys enjoyed having their own space and playing ping pong at night. The drive way in was no joke, compared to the flat lands of Florida, but our Camry was able to get the job done. Thank you for everything!

Our group was ready for some major downtime. To just relax and enjoy the peace and quiet. Which was exactly what we got. We did some exploring and found a waterfall about 2 miles from the cabin. Overall it was an amazing vacation the cabin had everything we needed.

The cabin was wonderful! Everything that we needed was available. The host let us know in advance that if we needed any more small appliances, etc., we just needed to let them know. There were plenty of coffee pods, among other items, available in case we ran out.
The cabin was centrally located to everything we wanted to see in the area. The waterfalls, including one within 2 miles of the cabin, were absolutely beautiful! It rained a big part of 2 days of our 5 days there, but we took that time to rest, watch Christmas movies, and enjoy the cabin. It was a great vacation!

House was clean, well stocked, and very private back in the woods. We had planned to spend two days in Helen and it was about a 45 minute drive to there along some curvy roads.

Property met all expectations and I would use it again, very nice. If i had any complaint at all, it would be that I thought the cleaning fee was a little excessive, especially for four old guys that took care and cleaned up well before we left. Charge more for the daily rate and less for the cleaning fee, but I understand marketing. We're just old school......Andy L.

Upon arrival, we were immediately captivated by the cabin's rustic charm. From its cozy interior design to the breathtaking views outside, it truly felt like a home away from home. The attention to detail was evident in every aspect, creating an inviting atmosphere that instantly helped us unwind.
One of the standout features of our stay was undoubtedly the astonishing surrounding landscape. The mountains that enveloped us were simply breathtaking, with their lush greenery and rolling peaks.
The cabin's amenities also contributed to the delight of our stay. The well-equipped kitchen allowed us to prepare meals with ease, and the comfortable beds provided a much-needed rest after a long day of exploring.
The owner was very helpful and thoughtful of our stay and provided specific items for our family to make it a fun and safe stay. They made sure we were taken care of and were very attentive to any questions we had. Couldn't ask for anything more!
We left feeling refreshed and rejuvenated, already dreaming of our next visit to this hidden gem.

Very peaceful setting close to lots of great places to visit. We've stayed in several nice log cabins in the area. This was easily the cleanest one yet. Plenty of room inside and a great porch for sitting outside. The host was very responsive. Would definitely recommend this location. An easy 5-star experience for us.

The house is very nice with all the amenities needed for a pleasant experience. We enjoyed sitting on the porch in the rocking chairs drinking coffee and tea just relaxing. As with most mountain homes, the driveway is steep. We had a wonderful time!
