Close to work
Very run down
1.0 / 10.0
they offered a small bottle of water upon arrival
It was by far the most dirty room that I have ever stayed. I have been to many places including Africa and Asia. Nothing compares to that. It should be delisted from Booking until it reaches some basic standards of hygiene.

The two men who ran it were lovely.
The room was clean and tidy.
Bit different then what we are used too but it was near papworth and a very reasonable price.
Only been open a couple of months and the reception area is really nice.
The bedrooms need more work..The brown really does not work.
Little outdated but I am sure after they have finished will look great.
Not enough choice of drinks
Food very limited.

The man on reception was extremely friendly and helpful, and I truly wish them luck with the newly opened hotel. He carried our bags to the rooms. There are no desk/reading lamps, but he managed to find one (I think it belonged to the builder on site), otherwise there was one bright central light and the light switch was by the door. There is easy parking.
I`m sure it will be a decent workable budget hotel, but clearly its not finished. There are builders there outside the room. They need to sort reading lights, bath or shower mat, bedside tables (there was one in my double room). A loose sheet on top of waterproof mattress protector means the sheet slips all over the place - they need fitted sheets on a matt mattress protector. It`s difficult to wake up to drilling at 8am outside the door. There is Wifi in public places but not the rooms. I`m sorry not to be more positive as I found the receptionist to be exceptionally helpful. I think its worth losing the terms `luxury` and de-luxe` as this will only lead to disappointment.

Out in the countryside inside marble floors nice layout
The room was comfortable no hot water from shower tried different settings as was leaving early in morning so had a cold shower instead and the automatic bathroom fan wouldn’t turn of so was on all night there still doing maintenance on the place but all in once finished will look nice and will come back at a later date

Although it was basic, it was good value for money and was perfectly positioned to allow me to walk into Papworth where I was working. The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was also basic but actually a bowl of cereal was all I really needed or wanted in the morning.
The hotel has been taken over recently so they are in the early stages of working to upgrade the facilities. Things were basic but fine. With the work they are doing it has great potential and adding little bits such as a hairdryer, and wifi would be good.

Work be carried out but this was explained and didn’t impact our stay

I liked the fact that we stayed at the hotel and didn't catch anything. Completed filthy and I'm just glad that we didn't become ill, and or injure ourselves on the property
This is the worst place to ever stay. Terrible room, The bed was already broken. There was no toilet roll. The person asked me to pay cash on arrival. That seemed really odd to me.
No toilet roll.
The service was terrible and the manager was completey unapologetic when we raised the concerns. He didn't care. He just wanted his money.

The bed was good very comfortable but the lack of facilities means I'm not coming back.
No wi-fi, no microwave, poor payment facilities, heater not working properly. Poor breakfast facilities. I couldn't wait to leave. Dinner was cold, is this a Hotel?

Room done up cheap to get money in hole's in door patch up and painted over.had to use the kettle on the floor as plug socket by the table not wired in. Over priced for what you get.

On the positive front, the bedroom was basically clean, despite a badly stained bathroom floor; there was ample parking space and one of the receptionists very kindly carried our luggage to the room, a gesture which was much appreciated.
This is listed as a Deluxe bedroom, but it lacked all the features you would expect in a standard hotel bedroom: the sink had no plug and there was no bathroom mat; the lighting above the sink did not function and there was no toilet roll provided (until we asked for it). Only one channel on the TV appeared to be available. The arrangements for unlocking the entrance to the carpark (after 11.00pm) were cumbersome and not exactly tailored to the needs of guests. The complimentary breakfast, consisting of a small box of cereal and some long-life milk, was paltry. There were no bedside lights. No consideration had been given to the decorative features of the room, so that one had the impression one was sleeping in a prison cell with the barest of walls. Overall this was way below the standards we have come to expect in accommodation in the same price-bracket.

Comfy bed, very quiet, everything was clean
It would've been good to have a bath mat, hand towels and milk for the tea/coffee

Even though they had only been open 3weeks the staff was very friendly
Nothing that we did not like

it was a good base to travel to towns and villages around Cambridge and adjoining areas
you obviously need a car to get about as Caxton and Papworth would be a bit of a walk but as long as you have transport it’s fine

Breakfast was adequate, if u want more I'm sure the restaurant will b happy 2 provide your want and need. Otherwise maccy d's is 5mins walk away along with Costa, subway or if u want take out there is fast food pizza, burger, chicken and kebab all the same distance along with a shell garage, cashpoint and a convenience store that can provide more than u thought u wanted! Location is great for those travelling as easy and close access to major roadways. If u do not have transport the bus runs literally every hour from 7am to huntingdon and Cambridge the stop is about a 5-10 minute walk to the village max. The buses do pass but road isn't the best place to stop. If you want full blown shopping morrisons megastore is 10 mins by car half an hour if you would like to walk, alternatively u can catch the bus.
This place has much potential and has only just opened so in future I think u will c many improvements on its adequate style. Not much 2 dislike unless u r 1 looking 4 a complaint and then u may have difficulty finding!

The staff were friendly and helpful, the room was spotlessly clean, and the room temperature was comfortable. All thr rooms are on the ground floor.
There was a kettle and two cups in the room but no tea bags, coffee milk or sugar, so it was impossible to make a drink.
The shower had no wall bracket to hang the shower head on and the grouting was not finished, so I didn't bother to take a shower.
The cupboards were sticky because they had recently been painted.
The property looked derelict from the outside, it looked like it was closed.

There is corn flakes and fresh milk for our breakfast. It is nice.
Price is good for staying 1 night.
It is close to RSPB reserve that I planned to go.
New paint smell in room but the staff changed the room for us at once.
