The people made this place feel like a home! Big thanks to Ahmed & Moncef for being so so welcoming. They helped organise airport taxis & shared taxis to Imousane as well as give so many helpful recommendations. The best tajine I had in Morocco & the breakfast was amazing, and can’t forget the tea too! It was so lovely that I came back for another night before my flight out. Thank you!!

Dort bekommt man alles sehr, sehr günstig.

The simple and authentic way of living and sharing blew me away.. This family is of such a warm welcoming and caring. Help, hospitality and sharing are fixed values. I just spent 2 days in Ahmed's family, travelling as a young french woman on my own. I just want to come back, I felt very safe there. You booked at the right place if you are looking for very human interactions, cultural discoveries, new relationships and a simple way of living. The food is generous, homemade, delicious, beds are comfy, everything is here to have a good stay. Moroccan people are so open-minded, I just had one of the best experiences there. Ahmed speaks different languages, will always make sure you don't lack anything. Him, his family and volunteers give their all to the travellers. They deserve the best. Definitely inspiring souls.
See you soon inshallah :)).

The name of the hostel is a perfect description of what you can expect. If you are looking to expirience life of Moroccans and you want to meet local people this is a perfect place. You come there and you become part of a family. The atmosfere and energy of the house is amazing. I never felt like this in any other hostel, here I felt like I came to visit a long known friend. Ahmed is amazing host, willing to help you in everything, he answered all of my questions before arrival very fastly and he made sure to help us find the way to his hostel, he even offeres you to arrange taxi from airport for you for a good price. During our stay he was also recomending us what to do in Agadir and he was giving us very usefull advices about the place and people, how to get fair prices etc. Volonteers there are also amazing and we became very good friends. First days there was only one volonteer and she was also amazing, very helpful with advices, answeres and she also hang with us in her free time and showed us around the city.
There is homecooked local food for breakfast and dinner which is amazing, and we ended up eating every day breakfast and dinner in the hostel. The house looks nice and simple, you have everything what you need, it is cleaned regularly, you can smoke at the rooftop which looks amazing. There is always someone hanging after dinner, so you have oportunity to meet people who stay there. Our stay in Agadir for sure would not be so amazing, fun, fullfeeling experience if we didn't stay at Moroccan Family house. I would gladly come again and recomend this place to everyone who would like to be part of Moroccan family and meet other amazing people.

El ambiente familiar. Desayuno y cena casero y delicioso.

From my vast experience traveling through several countries, you can imagine that I have stayed in many hotels and hostels. However, I never felt more welcomed than in the Family House at Agadir. The host, Ahmed, did his best in showing us around, always helped in any question I had, gave great recommendations on activities in the area and shared delicious meals with us. From going to the beach, the Souk and cooking together, I will never forget this experience in my life. I truly believe that people are a great factor impacting one's trip, and my trip to Morocco was incredible especially thanks to the people I met at this accommodation.
The guesthouse has a rooftop where we shared breakfasts and dinners, played cards and talked under the stars. It was perfect to create a friendly and cozy atmosphere, learn how to serve Moroccan tea, make Arabic coffee, listen to the prayer callings and experience the sunrises and sunsets. A Hammam can be found 10 minutes by walk, and the Souk it's a bit more far but you can take a taxi there (they are cheap!). The neighborhood is super safe -talking from a solo woman traveler perspective-, we even had the chance to play football with the local kids ⚽
The rooms are comfy and the entire accommodation is clean and tidy. The breakfast was complete including omelette, sweets, bread with local honey, etc. The volunteers that stay there from different countries also contribute to the nice vibes and interesting conversations. It's the perfect combo to make friends, relax and enjoy. Personally, I also went to Essaouira and Marrakesh but returned to Agadir earlier than expected because it was the most hospitable guesthouse I encountered, and I was missing its people already.
Family House, thank you for adding lifelong memories and being the perfect spot for forming bonds. I will come back soon for sure and cook more Argentinian dishes 😊

This is a very special place to stay. At once you’re made to feel welcome and part of the little forever changing community that is there. Your questions and queries can be answered, you are free to share your experiences and opinions, and learn from other too whilst eating dinner or breakfast all together or over seemingly bottomless mint tea.
Ahmed is an extremely nice and big hearted guy, who is willing to help out in any situation. This is proven by the amount of people who return to him year after year (I met some!)
The area is not especially touristy, but all amenities are available and it is very REAL! The main town, markets and beach are all a 1€ taxi ride away.

The perfect place if you're looking for meeting open-minded people, travellers and locals. This wonderful mix of cultures made my stay unforgettable. Actually I changed my plans to stay longer :)
Thanks you Ahmed and your family.

The terrace is very nice. Located in an interesting Moroccan neighbourhood with friendly kids playing football. The breakfast was shared with everyone together (travellers and family members) which is an experience on its own. Thanks Ahmed and family, recommended!

Charming property located in a very authentic neighborhood far away from the sprawling touristic ressorts of Agadir. The guesthouse is held by Ahmed, his mother Satia and a group of devoted volunteers who will go out of their way to make you feel right at home.
As part of this authentic experience, you will have the opportunity to eat some of the best home-cooked Moroccan food while engaging in lively exchanges with Ahmed, his family and friends, volunteers and other guests.
After a week travelling in Morocco, my friend and I decided to stay three nights at Family guesthouse. Even though there were many activities to do around Agadir, I ended up spending most of my time at the guesthouse as I felt so at home there. 10/10 I would recommend!
That I couldn’t stay longer!

Sehr liebevolle, gastfreundliche Unterkunft. If you’re looking for a proper hotel, don’t go there. But if you’re looking for better, i.e. an authentic immersion inside a warmful family, this place is yours! Ahmed has been such a helpful and generous host to us, and we’re pretty sure that you will think the same after your journey at his guesthouse!

This place is not a hotel, so don’t expect to land in a climatized, glazed place without any noise. Be aware that you’ll just be an additional member of a lively, multigenerational family ;-)
