Almost nothing
After not finding the hostal since they did not put any name outside (WHY?! Seriously, why???), a guy opened me and laughed saying „did you search long? But well now you’re here, that’s all that counts“. I guess that’s not all that counts. I had heavy luggage and it started getting dark, I was walking around with my 4 year old son and all they say is that. Super rude. The other owner seemed nicer. However, the whole accommodation was super dirty. My bed sheets were used, like the towels. They denied that. I had to tell several times that they smell and look used, like men‘s sweat. In the end, I took towels and sheets from another room. The owner wasn’t there. Generally, no one was there. Which was white spooky since the accommodation doesn’t seem safe (door is open the whole time), very rustic and not secure. The bathrooms were so insanely dirty and smelly that I went to the toilet in cafes around if possible.

Simple room with a fan. Shared bathroom. As expected for the price. No major complaints. Close to the main square in Santa Ana (4 mins walk).
The water pressure is very low so the shower wasn't great. Sometimes during the day there wasn't any water pressure at all so nothing came out the taps.

The staff and the easy going nature of the place. Close to the centre of town. Area felt safe. The multiple seating areas in the garden and the large kitchen. Large TV with streaming channels. The anti mosquito second door grill.
Water pressure was non existent after 9am so I missed a shower several times during my stay. No where to hang clothes in bathrooms. No toiletries available.
Washing machine unavailable for laundry.
Both neighbours are either a construction site so woken every day at 8 by loud banging or vehicles good being used on other side but might have stopped by now.
The bedroom was stiflingly hot in the dry season. No change of bed sheets offered in four days.

The host Manuel and the volunteers Greg and Maria were all lovely people, they alone made the place feel more like a home. The garden is nice to be in, there is even a tortoise that comes out at night. Well equipped kitchen and spacious fridge. The bathrooms were clean but sometimes the waterpressure was low. Free use of the laundry machine. The main park, mercado region, supermercado are all within walking distance.
If you'd like to volunteer for accomodation for a while, just ask Manuel for availability.
Sometimes lower waterpressure.

Manuel was super kind and polite. The kitchen is well equipped and the patio is lovely. The rooms are spacious.
The price is really good for private rooms.
The hostel doesn't have a name outside so it took us some time to find it at night. We asked around in a different house but it can be a bit annoying if you don't know any Spanish.
The bathrooms could use a cleaning more often and the water pressure was very bad in the morning.

Cel mai mult mi-a plăcut disponibilitatea de a-mi oferi oricând orice informație, orice ajutor am cerut atât pentru mine, cat și pentru prietenii. Amabilitate care te face să te simți bine.

The host is so sweet and friendly! He wants to help you with anything. He is happy to have you.
His house is very nice, great garden with fruit and avocado trees, and you can use his well equipped kitchen. There is a very relaxed atmosphere and we really felt at home. There are two bathrooms and there is warm water! The place is a 5 minute walk to the main square.
