About this cottage rental
Edgewood Cottage
Edgewood, built in 1883 by Charles Caskey, the builder of Grand Hotel, is one of the original 8 historic cottages built on Mackinac Island in the beautiful and peaceful Hubbard's Annex neighborhood. The original painted woodwork and Victorian style of the home will transport you to another time as you enjoy a tranquil vacation. Located on a double lot within a short walk or bike ride from downtown, you can enjoy many leisurely activities nearby including parks, golf, museums, shopping, and restaurants. At this time, the cottage is undergoing major interior renovations plus new landscaping in spring 2024. Current photos reflect that and will be updated as soon as projects are completed. Exterior painting was just finished with colors matching the facade of Grand Hotel. 5 bedrooms, 3 full bathrooms, fully-equipped kitchen, utility/mud room with new washer and dryer, large porch with antique wicker furniture (also soon to be restored) including porch swing. Sleeps 10 people. This is an absolutely charming home you will love!
