Rooms were very small, the view from my room was a straight up generator and there was no point to even have a window.

This is a typical Japanese business hotel. I do not recommend this hotel for overseas travelling couples, especially if you are here for the 1st time. For business travellers, it is good for 1 to 2 days I'll guess. I stayed here for 6 nights but i only use it to sleep so that's fine. 20 mins walk to Shinjuku Express Bus Terminal / Station is quite alright when it is not hot or raining.
The breakfast menu rotates very alternate days and there is a Lawson at the 1st floor. To access the lift on the 1st floor, you have to go through Lawson store.
I took a Airport limousine bus to Washington Hotel and cut across the walk way through it to reach Presso Inn. Very convenient.

Overall I had a good stay at this hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Good amenities. The complimentary Japanese breakfast was nice as well, even though the menu could be improved. I loved the Japanese curry rice and the coffee, but after having the same thing for three days in a row I don't think I would be able to eat more curry rice for breakfast. :) The room was small, but adequate, not as small as I had expected. I'm 5'4" so if you're bigger you'd probably need a bigger room. The only major issue with this hotel for me is the location. I am used to walking long distances, but I still found the hotel to be a bit out of the way. It's about 10 minutes on foot from Shinjuku station, which doesn't sound like a lot of walking but it was an extremely hot and humid summer when I was there, so it was very inconvenient. Plus, I lost time and energy having to go back and forth to the hotel throughout the day. Other than that, it's a decent and affordable hotel.

It has free breakfast, nice food. Had some chicken and gohan for breakfast, it’s important to mention that this is not western style but for me was very good.
Building and rooms seem quite old but if you are not going to be there the whole day, then it’s fine. Rooms are small but clean.
Good place near Shinjuku eki.
