Lively local hotel/pub, very nice rooms and good honest food. But above all else the service was exceptional. Genuinely friendly, engaging staff that are passionate about their business and their customers. They went the extra mile, offered a packed breakfast because we were off before service started, they couldn’t do enough. They even have grooming products in the public toilets! Thanks to everyone that made it an unexpectedly memorable stay.
Nothing not to like as far as I could tell.

Friendly welcome, staff appeared happy. Lovely room and decor. Great dinner menu choices. Very comfortable bed and pillows. Tea/ coffee provided.
Great breakfast choice. Staff member dealt with a dinner menu choice situation very quickly and provided solution.
I left my window open over night, and woke up with someone smoking below - minor … but unpleasant smell

Staff and breakfasts were lovely, we only had 1 x afternoon tea and evening meal as we went to friends place but was very nice.
Room was a bit noisy as on main road so although not massively busy was woken often by traffic, maybe request a room at back next time we visit .

Breakfast was a great full-english of a high standard.
Location was perfect for my purposes. The Hotel served a good choice of beers and quality food and the decor has the best of traditional and modern elements.
Stylish bedrooms with comfy beds.
Difficult to criticize.

Early morning farming traffic noise...but we were in the deepest Norfolk countryside!

We loved how helpful & friendly the young and cheerful staff team are. We had an early start on Sunday (leaving before 8am) and so had planned to give breakfast a miss. We were told that preparing an early breakfast was no problem and were given a menu to choose what we'd like and place our order the previous evening. Our full English breakfast was prepared early for us and ready when we arrived. It was delicious - and hugely appreciated. Our room ( La Parisienne ) was really comfortable, air conditioned and so well equipped. The bath was fab. We'd never visited Hingham before - it's lovely. Some beautiful buildings & architecture and we really enjoyed a stroll around the village. Newsagents directly across the road - perfect for the weekend papers!
The White Hart was perfect for us. Only slight disadvantage was the noise from the kitchen extraction system during the evening, but this didn't adversely impact our stay.

Service at breakfast let down what had been fantastic staff the day and evening before. Lighting in room atmospheric but not great for reading!

Lovely Beds, lovely Staff, Hannah was very helpful and attentive.
The room although lovely was a little on the small side as was the bathroom.

Lovely social rooms furnished with comfortable chairs and decorated tastefully. Appreciated the coffee maker, lovely biscuits and the pretty teapot with matching tea cups.
Well appointed bedroom and bathroom, both tastefully decorated.
A noisy toilet cistern and we couldn’t get the plug to work in the bath
Sat at the reserved table by the fire for dinner and breakfast. The bench seat would benefit from cushions and the fire was pushing out a lot of heat which was a bit overpowering.

Return visit, again. Why? Because we love it here. Rooms are exceptional value for the facilities offered. Staff are fabulous; so welcoming and helpful. Food was especially good this time. All in all a very special place which makes you feel special and well treated with a friendly pub feel.

The whole place is beautiful and cosy. Very appealing bar and restaurant. The breakfast was outstanding and the staff were all polite and friendly.
The mattress was a bit too soft for us, but then that's down to individual taste.
