Rather expensive and has a service fee. Very nice room. Breakfast included (continental) meh. Excellent staff. Modern decor.

Choose this based on location - was fine for one night. Lower floors have no views - I was on 3rd.

Everything in hotel was nice & clean and service was good. The problem we didn't sleep well. You can hear everything in hallway, other rooms and outside. Just when I would fall asleep, there would be a noise that would wake me up even with sleep app with sound of rain on my phone.

We loved our stay at The Lex. Chris at the front desk is great and personable! The roof top is nice, and the location is near trains and buses. Quiet, clean, nice sized room, and decent free breakfast (no hot food). Our only complaint is the lack of mini fridge and microwave. Please get some and we'll come back! We always have leftovers so a fridge and microwave is a must for us.

Cozy little room with a decent view of the street from the second floor. It was a one night only stay, and provided what I needed as far as a nice place to sleep, with good amenities and within walking distance of where I needed to go.

Small hotel with friendly staff. My go to when looking to stay in Gramercy Park area.

The LEX NYC is a terrific location. The city is more enjoyable when you are only blocks away from great site seeing and parks. The staff is helpful & kind. Every request made, seems to be of importance to them. Chris at frontdesk, Louis - room service are just a few of the names of great people there. It would be nice if rooftop stayed open until 11:00p. My only comment is the price/nightly is a bit steep! The rooms are clean, but average in furnishings. I'd stay there again because of the staff , and location. Hopefully get a better rate though.

The room was okay. They call the basement the "Garden Floor" because the walls are all covered with fake plants. The wallpaper in the room was also all pictures of plants...annoying on the eyes. The bathroom outlets didnt work and while the staff is friendly, not entirely helpful. We has some very noisy neighbors that the staff knew about, tried once to subdue but gave up...also annoying. The have NO parking. The one place they have an agreement with is closed now. We were on our own as it parking with ZERO notice. Since parkibg in NYC is important, they should have advised us prior to us making the reservation.

Very pleasant staff! No fridge or microwave, but we didn’t need it. Definitely would start again!

The bathroom was clean, spacy, stylish, and has powerful shower. But the bed was ok. There was no coffee pot in the room. We had to get coffee in the lobby. The room was small and the AC was blowing cold air right to my head.

Inexpensive spot, very clean and comfortable. Only issue is the sound - could hear everything, from street noise to full conversations in the room next door.

We love the location. Subway and buses are within walking distances. The bathroom space was surprisingly huge for NYC. The rooftop is small but relaxing. Be aware, they close it if it’s raining. The breakfast is offering croissants, cereal/milk, muffins, OJ, coffee and tea. No fridge in the room. One can request one, I learned at checkout. They are limited. The staff is very friendly and will provide towels and extra blankets upon request. We chose no room service. Plenty of places nearby for a scrumptious breakfast, or a late night drink. The price per day was fair. Most likely will stay there again.

Checked into my hotel and didn’t take a look around. Went to hang out with some friends. Later on when I got back to my room I noticed poop smeared at the bottom of the toilet. I was so grossed out staying there.
