Lovely apartment. Great location as there are wonderful bars and places to reach within a two min distance. The apartment was a great size and the bed was wonderfully comfortable. Lovely and clean but stating to show signs of ware and tear. I was a little bit cautious of sitting on the furniture as I think the leg are not so strong and n need of replacing or repairing. The cooking utensils were great for the cooking I was doing, possibly a bigger oven dish would be good, but that's only if you intend to cook for more than two. There is no onsite parking as the website says that there is, I feel this should be changed to nearby parking. There is however a car park five minutes away, which is £13 for 24hrs (on the hill). If you are looking for a quite stay, this is not the apartment for you, it is very noisy, from the street as well as the front of the property. The flat I was in (flat 3), both rooms were above the air con units for the pub, so if you want to open the window, that is all you can hear. But with the windows closed and once in the actual apartment, you can't hear the pub, just the noise from the street. I would suggest a couple of fans for the bedrooms due to not being able to open the windows due to the noise levels. (I have a travel fan, which was great because there were usb ports in the plug sockets next to the bed. I would definitely stay here again.

Great location if you want to be around plenty of restaurants and bars. Clean, modern apartment with plenty space for a family. Unloading a car full wasn’t easy as you need to park on street as close as possible to apartment entrance and walk. This was stressful at peak time plus check in is 3pm (not 2pm as offered by hotels.com!!). Once settled in all went well. Master bedroom bed could do with replacing. Couldn’t hear loud music of surrounding bars once in the apartment. It does get warm however if you don’t open your windows. Would return but probably better option without young children.

Apartment What was brilliant: ◦ Location - spectacular place right on the front of the Barbican, with so many brilliant bars, restaurants, little shops and attractions on your doorstep. It’s a beautiful area with cobbled streets and I wouldn’t stay anywhere else in Plymouth now I’ve been! To find somewhere in such a brilliant location at such a reasonable cost would be very difficult. The barbican apartment gets five stars for its location. ◦ The set up - it’s a bright, modern, comfortable and clean apartment with everything you need! Tea coffee hot chocolate, ironing board, dishwasher, towels... perfect! Comfy bed. The biscuits and Marshmallows were a nice touch. The towels were amazing I’d like to have the same ones at home. ◦ View out of the living room window onto a cobbled street with a view of the port too to the left. Despite being over major bars it’s completely silent inside for a nice comfortable sleep. ◦ The bathroom- that shower was amazing! So powerful, it certainly washed the hangover away on that first morning. ◦ Lots of comfortable space to spread out. You could comfortably have two couples stay here. ◦ Due to its waterfront location there’s no parking on site however we parked at a car park a ten minute walk away which had a come and go ticket for £50 for the week... bargain. It’s at the theatre royal car park. We parked there and forgot about the car for a few days but could come and go when we wanted when we wanted to go a bit further afield.

In general we where both very pleased with our stay here. very clean and well specked and great location. the only downside is bedtime not sure if its the same in the other apartments but all I could hear all night was either a condenser unit or extractor fan on the roof outside our bedroom running all night.
