About this cottage rental
Stable Cottage in Painswick, Gloucestershire, is a beautifully, recently renovated barn conversion comfortably accommodating up to four guests in two bedrooms. The dog friendly holiday home has been tastefully decorated throughout to create a wonderful home-away-from-home for small families or couples looking to escape to the Cotswolds' countryside.
Located within the small town of Painswick, Stable Cottage is within easy reach of some of the local areas best loved walks, villages and attractions, this town is also often referred to as the Queen of the Cotswolds as it has some of the best examples of well preserved historic buildings.
The cottage itself lies within the grounds of a large country house but enjoys plenty of privacy. To the front of the cottage is a beautiful garden with a Petanque Piste and a gravelled terrace perfect for alfresco dinners, it is also surrounded by fences and hedges making it the ideal place to let dogs and children play.
Once inside, the cottage has a comfy lounge with a sofa and two armchairs that are perfect for watching the TV, there are also doors leading out to the garden. Next to the living area is the dining table, which can extend to seat up to four. The galley kitchen is off the dining area and is equipped to a high standard and features a wide array of appliances such as a fridge/freezer with ice dispenser, an aga style oven with gas hob, a dishwasher and a combination microwave/oven.
There are two bedrooms at Stable Cottage, the first is the Master Bedroom, which is situated on the ground floor of the holiday house. The Master Bedroom has a super king size bed and a door leading out onto the garden, it also benefits from an en-suite bathroom, which is fitted with a walk-in shower, a WC, a wash basin and a whirlpool style bath. Upstairs is the second bedroom, which has two full size single beds, it also benefits from an en-suite that is styled as a wet room with a walk-in shower, a WC and a wash basin.
