Overall a lovely stay in a perfect location.

Property is situated in a great location within walking distance to all amenities.

The beds are extremely uncomfortable but manageable for a short stay. For the look and feel of the property the beds really let this place down. There’s construction work happening opposite so can be noisy especially early hours of the morning. Not the cleanest place I have stayed. After arriving at the property I checked everything for breakages as asked to do so by the staff and to report any issues within 8 hours of arrival, I checked everything and all looked fine. Unfortunately I forgot to check the microwave. During our stay we used the oven, hob kettle and toaster. We did not use the microwave once. When we arrived home after a lovely stay we had a message to say that the cleaning staff had reported burns to the microwave which resulted in them having to replace for a new one. We were completely shocked as like I say we did not use it. They took £230 of our £250 deposit off us for a new microwave which I think is an absolutely ridiculous price. They also charged us for disposal. We contacted the property to explain the situation and they were not in the least bit helpful. I just want to warn any other future guests of this issue we had, I don’t want any one to experience this. With Christmas very near and two young children to support I’m now £230 down for something I did not do. I feel very upset about this. Please make sure you check everything on arrival. I will not be staying here again after this experience. I have stayed many places and never experienced anything like this before. If we had done this I would happily pay for replacement. It feels very unfair and I’m extremely upset that this happened.
