Camera semplice ma accogliente e pulita.

Camera semplice ma accogliente. Noi abbiamo preso una camera privata con due letti e non ci aspettavamo il servizio in camera ogni mattina. Struttura accogliente a due passi dalle zone più vive e sicure di Medellín.

Goed en mooi hostel op iets rustiger locatie

Prachtig hostel en uitstekende privékamers. Beste stortdouche ooit. Alles zeer schoon. Ook goede bakkerij in het pand, mooie rooftopbar en gratis watertaps. Receptionist Santiago doet alles om het je naar de zin te maken. Hij spreekt als enige heel goed Engels. Hielp met bustickets toen er een bug was op die site, probeerde vanalles met de WiFi, etc. Hij is echt goud waard voor Rango!

WiFi was op de kamer zeer slecht, ook nadat ik de login kreeg van de administratie en ook na herstart. De eerste nacht was vreselijk, in een gebouw naast mijn kamer was de muziek zo luid dat zelfs mijn goede oordopjes én kussens daar weer bovenop niet hielpen. Het feest hield de hele nacht aan. Na 1 nacht ben ik uitgecheckt, dagje naar Guatapé en zou daarna in ander gebied hostel zoeken. Toen ik mijn rugzak ophaalde kon Santiago toch mijn twijfels weghalen (de nacht ervoor was vanwege public holiday extra lang en luid) en heb ik in een andere kamer vervolgens goed geslapen.

Fantastic - wouldn’t change anything

Fantastic ‘hostel’. I saw hostel in quotations because it’s basically a hotel with dorms. You get free water and coffee, fresh towels and they make your bed every morning even in the dorm rooms! There’s a beautiful restaurant downstairs and the rooftop is lovely too. Staff are 10/10 and there are lots of options of tours. The location is excellent, only a few mins walk to Calle 10. No complaints at all I loved my stay

Perhaps could have been more social (this is more down to the people though as Rango host events every night)

Mega godt, book det.

Bedste hostel jeg har været på. Super rent, sødt personale, gratis fællesaktiviteter som yoga og salsatime, og utrolig gode dorms - nye faciliteter. Var meget positivt overrasket. Kan klar anbefales og ville til enhver tid vælge rango igen.

Alt var godt. Skulle man komme med et forbedringsforslag, så kunne det være lækkert, hvis der i et af fællesområderne var mulighed for at man kunne ligge lidt mere ned.

Fijne privé kamer met eigen badkamer. Heel vriendelijk personeel, fijn ontbijten in tuin.

Heerlijke, schone privé kamer voor 2 personen met eigen badkamer op de 5e verdieping. Welkomstdrankje op het dakterras en het restaurant op de begane grond waren top. Heerlijk ontbijtje in de tuin. Tour geboekt bij de receptie naar Comuna 13 en een dagtripje naar Guatapé. Vriendelijk personeel en in een prima wijk gelegen met veel restaurants. Aanrader!

Highly recommended

Really nice hostel in El Poblado. Nice vibe, friendly staff, super clean! I stayed there several times when I was in Medellin and would stay there again!

Everything is really good! Sometimes it would have been nice to have a knife and a plate to cut some fruits etc. But downstairs at the restaurant they can help out with that when needed.

Perfect hostel to stay 3-4 days :)

The reactivity and the kindness of the staff (special mention for Arturo), the very nice restaurant downstairs and next door, the comfort of the room. 4 beds dorm : 2 wc + 2 showers and super clean :)

The 4 beds dorm which is located on the street side is very Noisy, the window is not soundproof. Some curtains are missing on the bed, only 2/3.

+ genügend Aufenthaltsräume + Ausstattung top: eigenes grosses Schliessfach im Mehrbettzimmer, genügend Platz im Zimmer, genügend Duschen & WCs inkl. Haarfön, Vorhänge bei den Betten, eigene Steckdose pro Bett, gratis Handtuch zum Duschen + sehr grosszügiges Frühstück + tolles Tour-Angebot + sehr!!!! sauber, das Reinigungspersonal ist rund um die Uhr am reinigen + Dachterrasse mit kleinem Pool + Swiss Bakery im Hostel

Da das Hostel mitten im lebendigen El Poblado liegt, ist sehr rund um die Uhr laut, insbesondere in der Nacht ist viel los. Oropax mitbringen empfohlen!

Excelente hostal funcional. Con piso con terraza para salir a fumar y con rooftop bar con una vista hermosa a la ciudad. Zona de coworking. Café y agua libre. La habitación amplia, cómoda y limpia. Con vista al parque, todo verde. Los desayunos espectaculares, de los mejores que he tenido en mi mes en Colombia. La atención es muy buena. Y está en una zona con markets 24hs. Cerca del parque del Poblado, bares y restaurantes. Y también se puede ir caminando a Provenza.

Maravillosa estancia, repetiríamos muchas veces más!!

Nos encantó. Era especialmente bonito y muy limpio. La localización es perfecta dentro de El Poblado porque no hay ruido de calle pero está cerca de toda la zona con sitios donde comer y salir. La cama grande y cómoda dentro de una de las habitaciones privadas con baño exterior privado (también grande y justo en frente de la puerta de la habitación). El desayuno que ofrece el hostel en la cafetería que está en la planta baja es de los mejores que comimos durante nuestro viaje por Colombia. El personal es muy muy agradable y te ayudan en todo momento. El servicio de lavandería es perfecto y económico. La piscina es pequeña pero perfecta para un chapuzón refrescante mientras se disfrutan las fantásticas vistas a tu alrededor y un rico cocktail. Ojalá pudiéramos volver pronto y disfrutar de Medellín!!!

Todo perfecto. Quizá solo mencionar que el lavabo para la habitación privada con baño exterior está en el pasillo y no dentro del lavabo. Lo cual a lo mejor para alguien es incómodo pero a nosotros no nos importó, es en un pasillo que no pasaba casi nadie así que sin problema.

worth staying

This place is super nice! It feels more like a hotel than a hostel. I had a private room with a private washroom in my room. I really like the room. There was no AC but it was not needed due to the weather being cooler in medellin. There is a rooftop bar that has a good view of the city. drinks are very well priced. The pool is very small but it's still nice and great for pictures.

Due to this hostel being a bit higher end, there was not kitchen to cook or prepare food. There is a little restaurant downstairs but obviously, if you are trying to save money, this would be a downside. Otherwise, it was really good. There isn't the best social atmosphere (no one main social space) but I did meet some really good friends that I ended up travelling with but it was coincidence I met them.

Top Unterkunft zum Wohlfühlen und Kontakt aufnehmen

Diese Unterkunft hat alles: Eine moderne fünfgeschossige Unterkunft mit Doppelzimmern oder Dormatories und gleich vier Treffs zur Kontaktaufnahme (Lounge im EG, Restaurant auf -1, unbewirteter Dachterrasse auf +4 und bewirtetem Rooftop auf +6 mit kleinem Pool. Es kommt kein Hotelfeeling auf, sondern es ist ein Treffpunkt von Reisenden. Mein Zimmer auf der 5. Etage mit Blick über den Park war top (!), es gibt wohl auch Zimmer mit Fenster auf den Etagengang. Die Räume werden jeden Tag gereinigt. Lage: ideal im Szeneviertel Poblado (das ist südlich vom eigentlichen Stadtkern, wobei alles in der Stadt ineinander übergeht), dabei Außenterrasse des Restaurants direkt am schattigen Park ("cool"). Tipp: Taxis sind günstig, aber die große Avenida El Poblado auf und ab fahren zahlreiche kleine Busse zum festen Tarif. In der unmittelbaren Umgebung gibt es alles für den täglichen Bedarf - und jede Menge Bars.

Ich kann nichts Negatives sagen. Gegen den Lärm des Szeneviertels werden Ohrstöpsel auf den Nachttisch gelegt - ich habe sie nicht gebraucht. Wie nahezu in ganz Medellin hat das Zimmer keine Klimaanlage (sondern Ventilator), die Kühlung funktioniert aber wunderbar durch die durchdachte Architektur mit Atrien, Luftschneisen und den kühlen Park.

Perfect!

Echt ALLES was prefect! Je kreeg bij aankomst handige info over de buurt, we kregen een welkoms cocktail en er werden elke avond van de week leuke activiteiten georganiseerd! Ik had hier zomaar een half jaar kunnen zitten haha zo leuk vond ik dit hotel. Ook het restaurant waar je kon ontbijten was echt mega lekker! Niet alleen voor ontbijt maar ook avondeten was hier heel goed! En als laatste was het personeel super vriendelijk! Zeker een aanrader!

De locatie. Het dakterras met zwembad is erg mooi. De werknemers zijn erg vriendelijk. Ook leuk dat je een welkomdrankje krijgt.

Heel erg veel geluidoverlast. Zowel van het hostel zelf (zoals keiharde muziek) en de omgeving. Dat was echt niet relaxed. Daarnaast waren de bedden niet confortabel.

Everything.. location is perfect. Poblado area is very happening during night and has lots of restaurants and bars. Breakfast area has a terrace towards greens and small river which is very beautiful. Rooms are confortable and modern. Welcome cocktails on rooftop terrace was a big surprise.

Loud and noisy till 1 in the morning. But they provide you with ear plugs. Not recomendable for light sleepers.

Not the best hostel I stayed, a bit pricey, but good

It’s a cool hostel with nice design and beautiful common areas. The rooftop is lovely, except that the pool is tiny, but it’s a nice area to hang out and meet people. The free activities are super, I loved the salsa class! The room was fine, good beds and clean enough. Plug next to the bed and little lamp always good to have, and some lockers for luggage.

My room was turned to the street and it was very noisy, even with the window closed. If you wanna use public transportation the location is not excellent, it’s probably 10-15min walk to the metro station. The hot water didn’t work.

Great Stay!!

Fantastic hostel in a great location for getting into Downton Medellin. We had a private room which was large and very comfortable. The restaurant food was very good and decent value.

We struggled to get hot water a lot of the time.
