The apartment is beautiful, location was fabulous
3.5
The location was central
There could have been a blind fitted in the front bedroom and better fitted curtains . Just for that bit more privacy
4.0
It was a really nice and comfortable place. Warm and cozy
There was someone knocking at 10 am sharp to leave the place. To early for checkout time

Near bus station is good.
Everyrhing else.
Badly furnished. Old. Worn.ugly.
Door to street hard to open and close. Very old mechanism.
Old thin towels.
New bathroom does not make up for the rest of the furnishings.

Central location - few minutes walk to the town centre. Large bedrooms, lounge and kitchen. Comfy beds. Ground floor, 3 steps up from the street. Brilliant place to stay.
Quite difficult to find, no sign on the door. No parking on site unless happens to be an empty spot in front of the house. Paid parking area literally across the road, with free parking over night. Would suggest going straight to the parking area. Don't let this put you off from staying here !

Unfortunately didn't get to stay in the apartment due to road closures surrounding the area because of an accident. The owner didn't care about our distress being stuck in traffic and gridlock in the town for hours. Refused to even give a part refund. Very uncaring indeed with no customer care. Eventually managed to secure other accommodation outside the town after hours trying to access alternative routes at more cost.

Didn’t have breakfast but everything was there,
I couldn’t get connected to the internet and had to buy it from Ee at a cost of £ 38
2.5
Big property nice bathroom and big kitchen with a table and chairs plenty of space .
Location was close to a pub so bit noisy at night if you slept on the front
Parking is a problem unless you get there at 4pm then you can pay for 2 hours and stay till 9am . Not great if you have a dog as there’s no grass area had to walk to the cemetery up the road where there’s some grass there is a very small patio area at the back of property if your dog doesn’t mind going toilet on slabs .

It was easy to enter the apartment with the lock box, meaning we didn't need to carry the key with us.
Very disappointed with the cleanliness of this apartment.
When we entered, the place had a very strong smell of smoke (both of us are non-smokers and specifically choose places where 'non-smoking' is stated).
There were what looked like blood stains on the dining chair covers in the kitchen, a crack in the livingroom door and the shower looked in unclean (photos attached).
There was a layer of dust on the floor and we did not want to put our crawling baby down on the floor as it was so unclean (the photo doesn't show how dirty it was).
We never used the livingroom as the smell of smoke was so strong. The apartment is next door to a loud pub where music could be heard until the early hours. The pub goers must also stand right at the apartment doorway and windows while having a smoke, and this may be the reason why the whole apartment had a strong smell.
We felt very uncomfortable in the apartment and didn't want to spend any more time there than we had to. It did not have a nice feel overall.
We were booked (and paid for) 2 nights, however it felt so unclean that a family member close by offered us to sleep on their livingroom floor, so we took them up on the offer (said family member helped pack up our stuff and agreed that the apartments cleanliness was not good).

Great apartment with everything you could possibly need, nice decor, lovely bathroom, big beds.. fantastic location
No heating! Weather was horrendous and we still tried to get out and about, but to come home with wet clothes and a wet dog with no means to warm up and get dry was as a challenge. Owner did pop round but it wasnt sorted, he told us on last day we could use the tumble dryer but don’t think Ronny ( the dog) would have enjoyed that.
1.5
Noise from road, pub next door and upstairs neighbour. Front door would not close, pillows on bed were hard. Place could do with some TLC. TV was very small, no bread knife
1.5
Very kind messages from host; easy to find and had the basics - was nice to have tea and coffee there. Comfortable beds and hot shower
Front room is noisy on the road; the kitchen cupboards were full of random stuff like old socks and takeaway menus and old glasses. The panel on the kitchen wall covering the boiler fell off; it was quite dated

Spacious and comfortable in a great location - loved the shower! Excellent communication from host in the lead up to our stay.
A local info pack would have been nice, one of us knew the town so not a problem but others may appreciate the extra help.

Excellent location for what we were doing. House was excellent and all arrangements very easy.

Lack of parking.

Great location, great communication wirh owner
Smell of dampness around property, dirty rug in sitting room, dirty seat covers in kitchen, bedding in both rooms overpowered by smell of dettol, towels had smell of dampness and no parking at property. Surcharge for 2 more guests and dogs.

The location was perfect easy walk to centre and close to supermarkets to buy supplies.
Nothing we didn’t like
4.5
Great Central location. Clean and comfortable.

Brilliant location and had everything needed.

2.5
It was within easy walking distance from the town.
There was no gas for supplying the central heating and shower didn’t work. The owner hadn’t paid for the gas supply. Also, the sitting room electric fire didn’t work.

Location
Very noisy from the road & the pub next door was very loud from guests when leaving in the early hours.
4.5
Great location close to town. Detailed instructions from host prior to check.
4.5
spacious, well-heated, TV with netflix, big kitchen, very close to the harbour
on a very passing street during the day, on street parking a bit far from the flat.
4.5
Apartment very spacious and well furnished. Comfortable rooms, and kitchen. Great position to visit the city and suupermarket are very close. Everything is walking distance. The apartment has all you need to spend some comfortable nice days in Oban.
The parking issue is different from what stated in the description, but we managed to move the car before paying too much. The car park near the house is free until 8am, then is more or less a pound per hour.
The free car park suggested by the host was completely full because used by workers and locals.
If we had to spend more days for sure we would have organised better, since we only stay one night we paid to park for few hours.
4.0
Clean, spacious rooms with all facilities available. Central location, so easy to get to the town centre, pier, station, etc. Excellent contact from the host in the run up to our stay. Pet friendly, with a small and safe secure area to the rear of the property.
Parking was hit or miss (pay to park in the street, so no designated parking place). Front bedroom was right next to the pedestrian crossing, so it could be noisy at times. If you are a light sleeper, then I’d suggest using the back bedroom as it is a busy street.
5.0
Location was great and close to everything to eat and to shop.
The only thing I would say is there has been a beautiful new shower put in, my mum is 80 and a slip mat would of been good to have as she worried she might slip. Apart from that everything else fine.
3.5
Very well equipped. Good beds and excellent shower..
Unable to access mainstreamTV.
Not familiar with firestick.
5.0
spacious apartment with two good sized double bedrooms
well equipped kitchen
relaxing lounge
nice wet room with fantastic shower
small outdoor space was lovely
can be a bit noisy from Road traffic and people from pub and neighbours could be heard coming up stairs in early hours of morning which woke us up
