Es war sehr schön

Das Frühstückbuffet ist sehr gut und vielseitig, lässt keinen Wunsch übrig. Die Zimmer sind geräumig, haben einen schönen Balkon und man fühlt sich wohl. Wir kommen wieder !

leider war das Wetter etwas nasskalt, aber man kann sich auch im Hotel gut aufhalten.

Für Kurzaufenthalt ok

Nettes Personal. Sehr gutes Reinigen des Zimmers. Tolles neues Bad (Dusche).

Das Bild des Hotels sieht aus, wie es alleine im Grünen steht. Leider ist das Gebäude sehr eingepfercht. Zimmer hatte einen Balkon mit Aussicht direkt auf ein Nebengebäude-Dach🤣 Koffer musste über Treppen rauf und runter getragen werden.

Neuer Saunabereich "Waldblick", Schwimmbad, Frühstücksbereich neu und sehr schön gestaltet, Frühstück sehr gut und reichhaltig

Zimmer teilweise renovierungsbedürftig. Holzdecke sieht unschön aus, Gardinen sind beim Zuziehen aus der Schiene gerutscht. Dusch-/WC-Bereich war in unserem Zimmer sehr klein, nur mit Glasschiebetür abgetrennt. Was die Buchung angeht, Digitalisierung recht und schön, man wird aber mit Mails regelrecht bombardiert. Wir hatten Ü/F gebucht, sind dann abends im dazugehörige Restaurant "Sonnenhof" Essen gegangen. Essen war gut, aber sehr!!! überteuert.

Not a stay we were expecting

Large car park and decent breakfast options

Not a family hotel probably. Our room neither had a mini bar to store our toddler's milk nor a kettle to heat it up. We asked the staff if they could help us warm the milk for our toddler's bedtime as well as store the milk in a fridge to which they agreed initially but then no one was available at the desk to help us with the request when we went down. Guests should also note that there are 2 building and they are not adjacent. There's a main building which serves breakfast and a secondary building across the street (50~70m) which has a restraunt and serves lunch/dinner. Inconvenient for people, especially old people. Also, the secondary building does not have lift

Generally good hotel, but its owners should make higher demands on their employees.

We were pleased about the general cleanliness at our room and comfortable beds. Personnel at restaurant was very polite and really competent, we and our friends from the region enjoyed the time spent there. Both dinner and breakfast were good.

First, we had to go by outside for the breakfast to the other building - not pleasant at the winter morning. Then, we were seated by personnel to set table, where were crumbs. Curious, if taken in account there were four guests taking a breakfast at the moment. We also did not find the additional cutlery, aside of those prepared at the table, anywhere, prepared to be taken without asking the personnel, for example to use it for salad, fruits etc. We also witnessed the situation, when hot water for tea has came off suddenly, just at the moment, when more guests came to breakfast wanting to prepare a tea. Remembering my own experience as the ex-hotel-manager, I was honestly surprised, how similar situation is even possible, when there was so many personnel present - they should be checking everything continuously. We are also used to the personnel continously taking away the used dishes from the tables. Unfortunatelly, this did not happen here, so we had to give these away to a table next to us, what was not very comfortable - nobody likes to use the other set table this way. Generally said, I assume this is issue about organisation of the work - from owners to managers and from managers to regular staff. The personell was still moving and acted like busy in taking care, but in fact they were merely chaotic and not dull in their obligations at all. Last, the personell at reception, not sure about our home address form, asked about the name, bit slightingly, of our "village". I find this generally unprofessional and impolite. First, if they do not know, how the address is correctly noted, they probably could not know, if it is village, town, city etc. Second, even as I do not expect them to be aware of local geography of neighbours country, it was really funny - especially by the fact we come from the regional capital city with more than 500.000 citizens and the personell from a local hotel in village in literal countryside close to the borders...

Good location, quiet hotel

we stayed with our two kids. the hotel was good in general. breakfast was adequate. employees were friendly. the location was good. We were also satisfied with the swimming pool and sauna.

rooms may need to undergo renovations soon. I can't say it's bad, but it's hard to say it's very modern and well-kept. sauna closing time was 8 pm. It would be better if it was later. price performance ratio could be better

Deserves to be a 5 star hotel

Exceptional hotel, beautiful pool and wellness area, the best breakfast I've ever experienced, very friendly and professional staff. Room clean and big, outdoor furniture at the balcony. I come again!!!!

Very good wellnesshotel

The breakfast is a 5* worthy, Its above every hotel we have ever been in this pricerange. The wellness area is very nice with indoor pool and lounge area. We could plark our motorcycle in a closed garage which i very much appreciate. Nice outdoor terras at the hotel/restaurant building. Food and service was great at the restaurant. Our room was very spacious, up to date and clean.

In the restaurant we sat upstairs at the window, there were some dead bugs and flies lying on the windowsill, Not very appetizing. The food however was very good.

Room was big and the shower was big.

Unfriendly staff, sometimes u don't have warm water, the location is far away from everything, the wifi is unstable, no ac or ventilator and the rooms are really hot, we bought ventilator from store.

Superb

Very clean, comfortable. Choice at breakfast was very broad and good. Restaurant food was very good. Very quiet place. Children enjoyed the pool area and the parents enjoyed the saunas and quiet room.

Not what we expect from Schwarzwald

The sauna was totally renewed and very relaxing with a nice pool. Food at the restaurant was nice as was the atmosphere. Good parking. Hotelroom was just refurbished.

The view from the balcony was not pleasant, dark / not nice / on the entrance of the hotel, the breakfast was in shifts but still overly crowded and thus not Corona proof, the hotel was full and therefore the sauna and breakfast room crowded, the bar was closed early and not cosy in the hallway. Service was friendly, though a but a bit cold.

Hotel with a pool and wellness

The room was very clean and spacious. The pool was good, we didn’t use the wellness. Possibility to dry your shoes and clothes in the drying room was great and needed. The breakfast was great, and the staff in the breakfast room as well as the housekeeping personnel were very friendly.

One person at the front desk was friendly, but grumpy-friendly. I didn’t like the restaurant (at the other part of the hotel, I guess Sonnenhof) where we went for dinner … we had fruit flies in our drinks when they arrived at the table and the spätzle wasn’t as tasty as we had at other restaurants. Not the fine dining I had expected, but not that awful either.
