Lovely motel with an onsite Chinese Restaurant - the General Manager was lovely and accommodating

Room looked like it had been recently updated - bed was comfortable lovely outlook from our room - and private sitting area from the room with two chairs and a little table - we were able to use the laundry facilities as well at no extra cost - the motel was convenient when buying wine to drop off in between visits to different wineries

We happened to have a noisy neighbour the first night we arrived but second night was ok

Very accessible with undercover parking outside the door. Very comfortable with great coffee.

The staff were very helpful - we couldn't work out how to turn the air conditioner on and the staff came immediately to help us. Great restaurant just a short walk from our room.

Comfortable room with a great restaurant ( take away available) and close to town.

The room was very clean and had everything we needed for an overnight stay. It was walking distance to everything we needed

It was very nice and comfortable and clean

Loved the size of the room, fixtures and decor were lovely, bed was lovely. Good quality coffee etc.

The door to the toilet, very heavy and wanted to close all the time. Also it is a large room, with quite a small tv.

Even though there were flaws with the place i would stay again.

The restaurant and staff were great first class. Plenty of room and the advantage of having the car right outside the door.

The half a door for the shower, the chairs were uncomfortable and the fact you had to stand in the room to dry yourself. The bed was all so uncomfortable.

Value hotel

Large room, it had a pool, tennis court and an Asian restaurant on site, we enjoyed our meals there. The bed was comfortable.

We encountered a rather large spider inside our room. Not sure if the people / person in the next room were deaf, but we could really hear the TV.

Thoroughly enjoyed the hotel, staff and facities. Great location!

Great location. Adequate rooms. Very poor management of the allocation of rooms given the linked room noise issues. of t

Location. Good layout apart from the linked rooms. This meant that you could hear everything from next door. The TV, the conversations and the snoring. So NOT good.

Please see above. PLUS, on each of the nights that we were, there we had people next door. With the very poor noise insulation between these linked rooms it was really very unacceptable. Given this, and as the Hotel appeared to be only say 25% at best full, we could not understand why on each night we had another party placed in the unit next door. This could without doubt have been avoided. A very disappointing approach by the management.

Nicely done up rooms, in a good loaction.

Room size was great, beds were comfy and it was in a great location.

It was weird that the coffee machine, kettle, fridge etc were in the bathroom area. Maybe move to under the TV or put in another small buffet in the rooms to put these items on.

Great stay

Excellent location to Tanunda centre, and to my son's home. Staff were very helpful and informative. Great value for money.

Unfortunately, the restaurant was closed while we were there. Would be perfect if they had dog friendly rooms :-)

Very thin walls, could hear everything from the room next door which was very uncomfortable. No microwave.

Solo in Tanunda🍷

The welcome from Lindy set the happy tone for my stay, and the chats with John continued same. . Appreciated the local knowledge offered without any hard sell. The sunshine pouring into the comfortable n spotless room when I entered it extended the welcome. Parked right at my door. A good value base for my few solo days in Tanunda. Close enough to town centre to walk to bakeries, cafes, cellar doors, etc. Bed a little firm, n bathroom quirky, but I go on holiday for something different to home!

The friendly, happy & helpful staff made this stay a really fabulous experience travelling with kids

The room was clean and comfortable. The generous sized shower was an unexpected surprise. The room had more than enough spare pillows and blankets. The heater meant the room was at a comfortable temperature throughout the night. The staff are happy and friendly and more than approachable. They are willing to help and accommodate you with any reasonable request.

I cannot think of anything that I wasn't happy with!!!

Everything you need in a hotel for a few days in the Barossa!

Convenient location with just a short walk into town and vineyards close by. The rooms have been refurbished, very clean and friendly staff! Lindy went above and beyond to make us feel welcome upon arrival and we really appreciated the room upgrade and local “to do” list tips

Not a comfort stay, okay as an overnighter if you're passing through

Great location, close to the wineries and town centre. The car space is ideally next to the room.

The pillows were terrible. There was mould in the bathroom. The waste bin in the toilet was not empty. There was lipstick on the carpet. There was random loud banging coming from the roof during the night. The security chain not working on the inside of the entrance door.

The Wine Vine hotel is fantastic.

The location was central to everything we wanted to do in the Barossa. Lindy, the lady at reception was fantastic. She was extremely friendly and helpful, giving us suggestions for dinner and other places to visit.

Nothing. Everything was fantastic. Highly recommended staying here. We will be back. The Asian restaurant adjoined to the hotel was also great.

Must stay!

The staff were amazing! John at reception was a delight to have a chat and a laugh with at check-in, and made us feel so welcome. Melanie, our housekeeper, was just awesome and happy to help with anything we needed... service with a smile! Everything was a short walk away, the beds are super comfy, the rooms spacious, even had a beautiful outdoor area to sit and have our morning coffee... and there was even a coffee machine in our room. We will visit again!
