Friendly front desk staff, beautiful and comfortable rooms.

Front desk was extremely friendly, helpful, and professional. Check in was a breeze. The room was comfortable and clean. Facilities were perfect.

Nothing negative to say. Everything was great with the hotel. The homeless encampment across the street was no reflection of the hotel.

It was a nice getaway

The breakfast was good, the staff was wonderful, the rooms were clean and the housekeeping was awsome. The complimentary appetizers and treats were A nice surprise to celebrate our 50 th.

I expected the inn to be right on the water, hence, “waterfront” . It’s on the opposite side of the street and you have to look over buildings to see the water.

Grateful for the exceptional food on the waterfront

Location

Price was excessive. My husband saw it for $156 a night. I didn't give it a second thought and booked the following day. It was double that per night and our initial room looked at a parking lot and dumpster for a 2 night $700 stay.

I’ll stay there again.

Location was great, near the water and close to many food and shopping options. Room was clean, bed was very comfortable, and I had a view of the water. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Parking was pricey, food and drink options in the hotel didn’t interest me.

Quiet with comfortable and clean beds. Nice available coffee and cookies. Great valets and parking service.

Didn't like being assigned without being told a handicap room, with kind of a locker room bathroom. Were we targeted somehow because of age? Expected a tub and shower, not just a handicap, walk-in shower. Too many warnings beforehand about not showing up before 4 pm check-in. We showed up well after 4. Doesn't compete with other hotels in Portland that have complimentary breakfasts at same total price.

Great location, nice facilities, and large comfortable rooms. Fabulous water view!

Housekeeping knocked on our door before 9 am every morning, and very few of them spoke enough English to understand us. We asked one woman to give us 10 more minutes and she said okay. Then she pushed a card under our door that said, “Sorry we missed you.” Our room was never cleaned that day, though we left the room when we told her we would early that morning. Also, why does the bar not serve drinks until 5:00 pm each day? We ended up going somewhere else every day for cocktails, as they were not open until 5:00. Someone else got our cocktail $$ for four days in a row.

It was a bit of a splurge on a 'fancy' ocean view room.

The property is well kept and clean in the middle of downtown Portland. There are many restaurants nearby, would recommend Luke's Lobster on the Portland Pier. The room was well sized and had a view of the harbor.

Parking fee is a hefty $30/night on top of your already high room costs. No breakfast or even a voucher for the restaurant on the property was included. The indoor pool is tiny. Ice maker was broken on our floor on all days we stayed.

Enjoyed the hotel despite the cleaning/servicing hassle.

Location and some helpful staff. Comfortable. Breakfast staff were all lovely.

We had four nights there and after much asking we managed to get our room serviced once. Reception could not understand the lack of service . We removed the do not disturb sign each day and we’re out from 10.30 to 16.00 each day. In the end they gave us free parking for the hassle.
